Thx for the hint. It works if I add following line to the .cfg file. PlaceholderFilePath.2=/sys/devices/w1_bus_master2, $OneWire2$ Is there a documentation how to modify this config file? Will this be overwritten if I do an update of the CodesysControl Runtime?

There appears to be a limit to the number of OPC Servers that can be connected simultaenously. 1-10 work but adding an 11th makes one of the previously linked ones unavailable. Is this a soft setting that can be adjusted? Using 3.5.18.30 on Win x64

Hello. I am using codesys 3.5. I would like to know if it is possible to set a variable to an output without declaring in. I have defined a STRUCT and within this struct I have a Struct for inputs called I and a struct for outputs called O. I have declared a variable of the type of this Struct, I would like to set or alias the value in this variable to an input/output value of an IO block that has a module on the ethernet tree. Is it possible to copy the contents of %IW0 -> STRUCT.I ? The size of both of these is 2 bytes. I understand that I can declare a variable with the input like Input01 AT %IX0.0 : BOOL; However how can I make STRUCT.I.D00 AT %IX0.0? Is this possible? Thanks

I would just use projectachives instead of using projects if you work with different pc's then all project related libs and devices are included.

Is it really the same CODESYS version with the same add-ons? Maybe open the CODESYS installer on your home laptop, and export the configuration. On your work PC open the CODESYS installer and import the configuration.

Hi, I recently got a license for Raspberry Pi, after license activation I made a backup copy of "CMLicenseNew.WibuCmRaU" file to a safe place. Things got complicated and I tried to downgrade OS for some reason after that I tried several times/ways to restore my license with no luck. the specifications are as follows: Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.1 codesyscontrol 4.10.0.0 SDK 3.5.19.30 Logs: **** ERROR: CodeMWriteLicenseFile: 'CMLicenseNew.WibuCmRaU' failed: Container not found or Server dose not support .... So if someone know a solution for this please kindly help me. Regards

I'm building up a 2nd PC to match an existing developer PC. Installed the same SP and Patch levels but when I open a project that was created on the existing PC, Codesys complains that it's not the same version. Attaching a screenshot..... What else is there to match? Also, can all of the libraries that are on the existing machine be copied from it to the new machine and if so, how? (So I get the same versions) Which files/folders do I copy? Thanks! -Farren

Hi everyone, I'm trying to install the CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi SL package. The computer with CODESYS software is offline for security reasons. So, I downloaded the package on another computer and installed it manually. But this package has dependencies packages: CODESYS.Control SL Extension Package, V4.0.0.0 CODESYS.Control SL Deploy Tool, V4.10.0.0 As I said, the computer with CODESYS is offline. I cannot use the package installer to search for these packages. I did not find them in Codesys Store with another computer. Do you know where to find and download them? You are right, that you can use the GetState method, but it is not that simple. You first have to get a list of (filtered) alarms from the AlarmManager. You can find an example in Forge how to do this. In Visualization, is there any way to make special characters in a string display properly in a Text object? I wrote a function block to create QR codes at runtime. My code uses “$DB,” which in ASCII should render as a solid block. The code works, but to display it in Visualization I had to create multiple rectangles with visibility bound to a BOOL array. That works, but since each BOOL must be exposed as a separate variable, it consumes most of the available monitoring resources. See Attached image.
