Hi everyone, I would appreciate your help with a problem I've been working on for a few days but haven't been able to resolve. I am reading data from a Siemens PAC3220 energy analyzer using Modbus with Wago-8202. However, the device's energy indices are given as doubles. Since a double variable is 64-bit, it is not possible to read it directly. I have been struggling for days, I have written many conversion functions but I have not been able to get results. I would appreciate your help. I read 4 word variables and processed them. I am converting them according to IEEE-754, but I can't seem to read the correct data. I would appreciate your help.

Ohhh OK. Yeah this seems to be timing like you said. Yeah I read through that document and came to the same conclusion. I haven't tried setting them both to 200ms. Maybe I'll give it a shot. Thanks so much for your input. Its greatly apreciated.

Hi, I am trying to get a basic safety application to download but I keep getting an "Invalid ERR Ack input" and "The Standard Inputs Size of zero is not allowed". I am simply using 2 safety inputs through an "AND" block to 2 safety outputs. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Trevor.

Thanks for your responses. The close listener sounds like an interesting approach, will have to see what I can do with it. I actually solved it as suggested by sturmghost by setting an enum variable to a certain state as soon as I open a dialog. This way I always know which dialog was opened last.

Codesys Installation : worked Codesys Starting : worked but right after start it stopped. with Start Runtime it starts again but stops automatically after 5 seconds is Codesys planned for Raspi 5?! Hi, I have been working on Codesys V3.5 with PFC200 controller and Can Gateway 750-658. I want to convert the incoming CAN data from bytes into UINT and for outgoing data bytes to UINT. Does anyone has experience with this kind of data? I tried few different ways but it doesn't seem to be working.

What worked for me with this error was to go to Tools -> Update Raspberry Pi, select Install, and from the popup screen, there are options to change your installation (I changed it to single core, instead of multicore), and I was then able to connect to my Rpi 4.

Try to repair Codesys2.3 and need to uninstall and reinstall it. Got this RUNDLL message when uninstall Codesys 2.3: There was a problem starting, the specificed module could not be found. Please refer to attached file. Followed suggestions from Microsoft website and didn't work out. I am using Codesys2.3.9.16. Any help is appreciated.

Sometimes you just need to pose a question on a forum and re-read it to get clarity. pGeoInfo := SMC_GetObj(poq:=ADR(fbCncInterpreter.poqDataOut), n:=1); This won't work, I'm providing a pointer to a pointer, as poqDataOut is already a pointer! I have a debian linux host running Control SL. I tried to manage IP-addresses through codesys/Control SL but that was not successful. What works though is manually editing the network-interfaces config file. /etc/network/interfaces. Is there a way to set this up so that IP-addresses can be managed from within codesys instead? We have similar issues, with crashing PLCs, but this ranges from 3.5.16.40 to 3.5.19.70. Which log made you confirm the exception crash? I am currently looking for evidence of what causes our PLCs to crash. Network stability could be an issue with latest security roll-outs like 802.1X and segregation.
