Most of the localized text appears in the correct language, but the Visualization Toolbox and the element properties are in German. I haven't found a way to change them to English. I'd like to know if it is possible to have the "Name" field, in the recipe definition, language dependent. Something like to have the possibility to put there a string ID that will be add to the GlobalTextList. In this way it can be translated and when showed in a Visualization screen its value depend on the current language. Thanks.

It is being worked on by many companies and its even-driven function blocks seem like a natural evolution of the object oriented industrial programming I have seen Gary Pratt (author of the Book of CODESYS and much more) so expertly implement and explain. I would expect CODESYS to have this front and center on their sights and, if they do not, I would be very interested in learning why.

Hello, The title pretty much says it all. When trying to open a FB from the CFC/Ladder/SFC editors while online, the FB does not open in an online view of that specific instance. Instead, it opens an offline view with '???' shown for the value of any variable. This makes debugging extremely cumbersome, as I have to find each FB in the POU window and select the specific instance I am trying to view. Anyone know the cause/solution for this? Thanks.

make sure the PLC and the programming PC have IP addresses that are on the same subnet, you'll have to know the default address of the PLC or you may need to connect to it with a special cable and use a software tool to set the IP address.
