I have a debian linux host running Control SL. I tried to manage IP-addresses through codesys/Control SL but that was not successful. What works though is manually editing the network-interfaces config file. /etc/network/interfaces. Is there a way to set this up so that IP-addresses can be managed from within codesys instead? Hello, i am trying to read multiple lines from csv file with caa file library and oscat. I have wrote 7 lines in the csv with separation '$R$L'. In my "extracting values" part I check line feeds and chars. After that I convert my buffer to string with oscat but I'm only able to read the first line from the csv. No matter if I even change start position where I start converting the buffer, I only get the first line. Not sure, but maybe before you enter step 5, set i, lineindex and charIndex to 0. And the buffer variable should have a size bigger than 1 line. Additionally I think you should set bufferstart to 0 before you enter step 5. And in the OSCAT function you always point to the buffer address, but shouldn't this be (buffer + bufferstart)?

Unfortunately, these are not used in the later process (Merge/Transform). Is there a way to set it up so that they are found in the html file?

I don't know the root cause... But what could help to continue when it seems to hang, is stop the CODESYS (communication) Gateway. Go to the Windows SysTray, find the icon for the Gateway and then stop it and start it again. This will interrupt the connection between CODESYS and your controller.

However, I changed the directory to: C:\ProgramData\CODESYS\CODESYSControlWinV3x64\58719825\PlcLogic\Recipes It still displays the content of this folder OK, however still will not write or read files. Is this the PLCLogic area you speak of? I also tried adding this path the the CodesysControl.cfg file. But still can't get it to work. Any additional direction would be appreciated!

Nur für die Nachwelt. Ja, Ressourcen wie Files sollte man optimalerweise nur aus 1 Task schreiben. Typischerweise nimmt man da eine nieder-priore, die sich um solche langsamen File- oder Logging-Geschichten kümmert. Dann gibt es auch keine Synchronisations-Probleme. Aus mehreren Tasks das zu tun braucht eben diese Synchronisation. Sonst passieren schlimme Dinge.

What I think you can influence the vendor and product (DeviceName) through settings in the runtime cfg file:</product></vendor> [SysTarget] VendorNameUnicode="T\00E\00S\00T\00" DeviceNameUnicode="t\00e\00s\00t\00" Note that these are 16-bit strings, thus the ASCII padded with nulls

Hi Everyone, I have a simple project with a single servo, but its my first time using Codesys and motion, so I'm a little confused and lost, I've tried to read the tutorial online, but I'm not having much luck sorry. Can I please ask for some pointers. I have a ComfilePi HMI (Raspberry Pi) communicating to a Omron R88D-1SN08H-ECT amplifier. Please see the attached project file (which is better for sharing, the project file, or a archive?). This file was simply for testing the motion of the servo before anything else is tested with it. The project simply rotates the servo 1 rotation when called for, but the speed can vary based on user input. Nothing much fancy. As yet, I haven't had any servo movement, no errors on the amplifier display. How do I link the motion FBs to the physical drive? Thank you very much for any help you can offer.
