@eschwellinger do you have any examples of using a USB barcode scanner? I have read through the forums here and I am unable to find how to get the barcode data to populate in a text field without having to first click into the text field to activate it. Is there a library that allows you to access the barcode data? I am really new to this in general any help is greatly appreciated, hopefully you have a pretty clear example

Has anyone used a library related to websocket client? I will be in charge of websocket client in CODESYS, and websocket server in python. In CODESYS, I will use WebSocketClient(FB) WebSocketRead(FB) WebSocketWrite(FB) to configure the client, Does anyone know an example of how to use it? Please help me.

looks like you are running in a bug in the newest version 4.4.0 of the profinet library or the new library triggers a bug in your code. did you update your profinet device too? you could try to downgrade to an older version of the library. via library manager - placeholders, double click Profinet 4.4.0 in the library column and choose an older version.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Please note that the information and links provided are related to OPC UA Client/Server. My problem was related to OPC UA Pub/Sub. In the end I have managed to establish OPC UA Pub/Sub communication between Codesys and TwinCAT systems. Keep in mind that OPC UA Pub/Sub example is not provided in the latest library version 1.1.0.0. The user needs to download the previous version to get the example. During the configuration I ended up with some doubts regarding the usage of IEC_ARRAY type in the dataset definition (see attachment). Can you please give more information on how to use this type? Many thanks.

This depends on what you want to achieve with installing the latest version and how you manage your projects and repositories. Maybe you also want to update your device (right click on it to update) or maybe your device is depending on certain versions of libraries (go to the library manager in your project and download the missing libraries). An option is also to first create a projectarchive of the current project you have before you install a new version of CODESYS. Then you can open this projectarchive in the new CODESYS version. Especially if you install the latest version of CODESYS in a Sandbox.

Hi everybody, I am looking for a solution to send files, for example, to an ftp or a cloud. I can't use oscat library because 64 bit controller are not supported. Therefore, I see that the IIoT library has some functions that might help me to implement this sending process in codesys. Does anyone have any examples of how to do this? I have spent some days with this issue without success. Best regards.

Hi, I need to accesss to project information of a referenced library in the project. At least I need the "Released" flag from these information to check that no project gets shipped with unreleased libraries. Unfortunally, I do not get this information by script.
