I not try to open project but i open Codesys and then create a new project and when try to generate code i have the error :/ I notiche a strnge situation. I have two different software on my pc: CODESYS V3.5 SP15 Patch 4 (with this my new program not work but can open and work with some course example); CODESYS V3.5 SP19 Patch 2 (with this my custom program work) Wich version i must be choose? Next I added SMS_Service_SL 1.0.0.8 version library and I have problem with compile my project because I get error: [ERROR] PiXtend_DemoProject_q: Library Manager [Device: PLC Logic: Application]: Could not open library '#CAADTUtil'. (Reason: The placeholder library 'CAADTUtil' could not be resolved.) Any have idea what can I do to properly add SMS library to my project?

Hi guys I am trying to run on my laptop Codesys 3.5.19 Control Win x64 where I created a EtherCAT master. I have defined the controler, specified network adapter (my docking station) and everything worked as expected. Later I needed to test it on site (without docking station) so I changed the network adapter by EC master to my laptop network card. After that it shows "Network adapter opened" but no device can be found by scanning and in LOG is saying "SysEthernet: packet could not be sent, error code: -1". Same error with USB network card, but if I switch back to docking station, all is working again... Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Hallo, bedingt durch einen Rechnerwechsel musste ich verschiedene Codesys-Versionen wieder neu installieren, bzw. habe mit dem Codesys-Installer beim Setup einer neuen Version Add-ons einer bestehenden Installation importiert. Nun möchte ich ein bestehendes Projekt, welches auf einem Zielgerät mit recht alter Runtime läuft öffnen, dabei kommt der error "C0510: The configured compilerversion '3.5.8.0' is not available in your installation". Auf dem alten Rechner wurde mit CODESYS V3.5 SP18 Patch 4 eben mit der Compilerversion 3.5.8.0 übersetzt, beim Erstellen des Projektarchives geht jedoch der Compiler nicht mit und so kommt es auf dem neuen Rechner mit der Installation V3.5 SP18 Patch 4 zu diesem error. Übersetze ich das Projekt mit dem aktuellen Compiler, kommt eine ganze Latte an Fehlermeldungen. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit die Compilerversion 3.5.8.0 in die Installation 3.5.18.4 zu bekommen? Hi, I tried posting in the discussion for the HTTP Client example but perhaps that is not monitored? I have been using http client successfully for approximately 12 months, however in recent weeks I have begun to get TCP_INIT_ERROR when attempting to communicate. The only resolution seems to be power cycling and then the connection begins to work again for a time. I am not aware of any changes to code or libraries between working ok and now. Cold reset does not resolve, only power cycle. It seems the error from NBS.TCP_Client is 6002 which I think is invalid_addr However the address is the same when working and not working?

I have a project in which there is a Safety device in CANopen, and the PLC interfaces with it as Master. I would like to understand if it is possible to set the behavior in case one of the SRDOs that I receive from the slave is no longer received. From what I have seen, if the SRDOs are not received, the CANopen safety status becomes "Not in progress" and the mapped variables freeze at the last value detected. I want to understand if it was possible to set the variables connected to the SRDOs to take a default value (e.g. zero) in the event of a CANOpen error during reception.

In a recent project with SoftMotion 4.15.0.0, where I integrated two SD drives from CMZ (from catalogue EDS and not imported), on CANopen bus, I found that the SoftMotion MC_Reset function does not reset the drive faults. Even if the drive is in fault, either on the device or on the drive at the CoDeSys level, the function does not reset, instead reporting the error code: no error to reset. Finally, I had to connect the reset bit of the ControlWord directly to a tag in my program. Something I never had to do on other drives: Lexium, etc. all reset simply with MC_Reset.

Hello, I have just went through all steps shown on Codesys YT channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPoPscbo3Kc And it works, I have installed PI OS 32 bit and choose Single Core. However, immediattely when I create standard project with Raspberrz pi device, "Application" is underlined, like there is an error, but in reality there are no errors, and I cannot see what are these 3 messages like shown in attachment. Aside for this red underline, everything seems to work fine. How to correct this? Thank you! Update: I have found what errors are, but not sure how to correct them: Identifier 'IoDrvGPIO' not defined Function block 'IoDrvGPIO' must be instantiated to be accessed 'IoDrvGPIO' is no component of 'IoDrvGPIO'

Raspberry Pi CM4 after some 1 week of work was hard reset mannualy several times and after these hard resets User Management file was missed (when click login button, enter login/password, error: User Management File missed). Also programm can not open file via SysFile library, but this file exists and size of him is 0 bytes, but must be more any way (I keep some kind of archive via this lib). What happens, how files corrupted? Where do I need try to find this error of the codesys or system whole? In the log files of codesys nothing interesting about this happens. Thanks for reading Is this enough hold PlcLogic and SysFileMap.cfg as reserve copy in another place for restoring the programm? And how automate restoring actions if programm files corrupted?

Dear Support, I have i950 wants to connect with Beckhoff EtherCAT coupler BK1120. There are 2 GSD files for BK1120. 1. BK1120 without MDP.(EtherCAT ESI Device Description (XML)) 2. BK1120 with MDP. (EtherCAT BKxxx (MDP) configuration files) When connecting the BK1120 with i950, scanned devices detects BK1120 without MDP from ESI No1 above. But the KL1408 & KL2408 not detect because they have ELxxxx IO type. When manually insert BK1120 with MDP, the KL1xx8 is able to add manually also but the error shows and Install Missing Descriptions appears. The questions; 1. Why the error occurs? 2. I am trying to add a Softmotion license to my Weintek HMI. The HMI is already licensed for Codesys and I have already purchased a Softmotion license as well. When using the License Manager I get an error saying the licensing info is not available. I am fairly new to working with Codesys so I am at a bit of a loss and there seems very little information online about troubleshooting this specific issue. I have attached the error message below. If there are any ideas of how to troubleshoot this better I would be happy to hear them.

I'm trying to export my whole project through the option ExportPLCopenXML. It seems working, but when I'm trying to import the xml I have the following error during the importation process: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. It seems a usual issue with this process that affects to the pointer to user classes inside a procedure. I receive this error for two general functions that have this pointer declarations in the VAR_INPUT section. It seems a bug into the export/import process of CodeSYS and I couldn't skip it so far. After some investigation, the read-only error was being triggered by a FAT-fs filesystem panic on the kernel end, probably caused by unfinished write/reads causing corruption. I found this thread https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Engineering/thread/e637d252b7/ which seems to give a solution of using SysProcess to send the 'sync' command to the console immediately following a write to prevent issues if power is lost or, in my case, if the unit is harshly power cycled. Indeed this seems to resolve the issue bar the worst possible edge cases.

Hello, I am having trouble figuring out the proper location for my virtual runtime to create a .CSV file. No matter the file location I set, I get error 14 (CANNOT_OPEN_DIRECTORY). I have tried multiple different file paths ('/', '/var/opt/codesysvcontrol/PlcLogic', '/var/opt/codesys/'). I understand that there is only certain places that Codesys can read/write. I am also running this virtual runtime in a Podman container. Does anyone know what the location should be? I attached the archive I was using, a project that tests CSV capability that I borrowed from someone else. Thanks!

Hello, I'm trying to use the Web Client SL library, I installed it in the IDE (did not purchase a license yet, as this is still a proof of concept so demo mode is good enough) and added it to the library manager. However, when trying to define a FB of the type WebClient I get a "Identifier 'WebClient' not defined" error message, setting the type to Web_Client_SL.WebClient did not work as well. Opening the example project the FBs defined there give the same error message. From the problem in the example project I deduce this is not a syntax problem, so maybe a license problem, but there should be a working demo mode, so what am I missing?
