Hi, I am trying to get a basic safety application to download but I keep getting an "Invalid ERR Ack input" and "The Standard Inputs Size of zero is not allowed". I am simply using 2 safety inputs through an "AND" block to 2 safety outputs. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Trevor.

Hi, I am using an "Exchange 8 bits from EtherCAT Safety Module to PLC" module which allows me to create tags in the safety environment, but how does this map to the standard PLC program? There is no entry in the IoConfig_Globals variables list. Regards Trevor

I managed to find a solution that seems to work reliably. As the VU.Globals.CurrentClient-filter accesses the CURRENTCLIENTID or at least a similar, internal variable it can only be used if called from a certain client (e.g. from a button in a visualization). My solution works by implementing a new client filter that compares the client ID of all clients to the ID of the last client that was used. The variable containing the data of the last client is defined as: G_LastClient : VU.IVisualizationClient; // Copy of last client that detected click This last client is then updated every time a button is pressed using the Execute ST-Code input configuration of the button: G_LastClient := VU.PublicVariables.Clients.Current; Next, I created a function block that implements the client filter interface as so: FUNCTION_BLOCK FB_LastClientFilter IMPLEMENTS VU.IVisualizationClientFilter VAR_INPUT END_VAR VAR_OUTPUT END_VAR VAR END_VAR Then i added a method to the FB called IsAccepted which is used to filter out the client. When creating the method, it should automatically be filled with the according variable declaration, as it is defined in the interface: (* For every client can be desided, if it is accepted. ``TRUE``: Client is accepted*) METHOD IsAccepted : BOOL VAR_INPUT (* The client, to check*) itfClient : VU.IVisualizationClient; END_VAR Now the client can be compared to the last used client as such: // check if clientID corresponds to clientID of last recorderd client IF itfCLient.ClientId = G_LastClient.ClientId THEN IsAccepted := TRUE; ELSE IsAccepted := FALSE; END_IF To make use of this custom client filter, initialize a variable with the client filter: LastClient : FB_LastClientFilter; // Client filter to find last used client Then use this client filter when opening or closing a dialog from ST: fbOpenMyDialog(itfClientFilter:=LastClient,xExecute:=TRUE,sDialogName:='VIS_MyDialog_DLG');

Hallo Today I decided to perform an Update on my PFC200 but after the Update the Device was not reachable anymore. I tried reseting to factory reset. Software reset and so on, but nothing helps... In my Router I can see it, I cann SSH into the PFC200 but it is not reachable. 256MB for the protocol yes, but the default value for this library parameter limits the library to 6kB per task scan.

This is: 02.04.22(06) As I do see now, minimal Version is 17, but why did my Controller work with Runtime 4.8.0.0 (Which was the last installed When I remember correctly)

Thank you very much so far - As I finaly decided to make an update on the PFC200 - as I've to get it up and running again. But something failed there and no I'm having an other Problem :-( I'll come back to this, when the error comes back!

Hi, Got same problem, appeared after 4.3.1.0 update. Prabably problem is in performance. I am using virtual machine, so adding one more core and several GB to RAM still not solved, but atleast did system more stable. Try optimise your main program or set less task interval. What maybe helps is the Visu Dialog ST demo project: https://store.codesys.com/en/visu-dialog-st.html This has an application IECOpenDialog where dialogs are opened using the VU.FbOpenDialogExtended function blocks. The fbOpenConfigurationDialog call has a reference (interface) to the "close listener" FB of which it's method is automatically called when the dialog is closed. This way you can create specific function blocks for each dialog when it is closed and do what you want with the data that might have been changed.

I've got it running again! For testing I've extendet the g_udiMaxPacketSize from 6000 to 100000 and g_udiMaxPayloadSize from 4096 to 80000 After it does run again! Thank you very much for your help!
