I would just use projectachives instead of using projects if you work with different pc's then all project related libs and devices are included.

Thanks Tim that worked well. saved the config from work pc, imported to home laptop. it downloaded packages and the program opened with no errors and started straight up! legend!

I'm having some troubles with this same issue and I'm wondering if someone can help me out. On a settings visual I allow the operator to enter some values however if they activate the page change button it will change the change with the Numpad dialog open. Since I'm using Visuelems.CURRENTVISU to change the pages I came across this code noted below for determining if the Numpad dialog was active. This code worked great however now in 3.5.19 it's now obsolete. I've tried following the directions in the attached program above however I can't see to get it to work in my program. Can anyone provide some help to determine if a dialog is open? Hi, Is there a solution found for the problem described in first post? Any version above Codesys 3.5 P19 hangs during start up. It makes no difference whether I simply start Codesys or open a project directly. I'm using Windows 10 Home edition. Thanks!

Hello, I have similar issue - installed CODESYS 64 3.5.21.10 on clean Win10 VM (virtualbox). Windows defender switched off, no additional antivirus. Codesys installer not starting (normal user and admin). No errors displayed. Windows event log screen in attachment.

Maybe also good to know that you could use the CODESYS installer to switch between gateways. - open the CODESYS installer - Select the (hamburger) menu - Select Settings - Select Services Then select the Gateway you would like to use.

Hi, I am using a PCAN mini CAN board which has the Windows drivers installed on the target PLC. PCAN board can be seen in device manager. However, I am getting "No CAN driver found" error. I have read the post https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/CODESYS-V2/thread/44aae19318/ and have uncommented the CmpPCANBasicDrv driver in the CodesysControl.cfg file in development PC and have copied it to the target PC. Current CodesysControl.cfg file attached. Is there anything else I am missing? Regards

When using the FileOpenSave dialog and using the Visu_FbFileListProvider FB as an In/Output I could not manage to detect the difference of pressing the "Load" button on the dialog vs. pressing the "Cancel" button. In both cases, the selected file is updated if the dialog is closed when checking using the Visu_FbFileListProvider.GetSelectedFileName() command. How can I prevent reading or writing of a file when the "Cancel" button was pressed?

you need at them moment a download once (for the configuration files generated including addresses) then stop the plc - exchange the persistence file ( without the config file) This will be improved to 3.5.18.6 and 3.5.20.0. (possible then to generate offline bootproject including full persistenmanager files) - this is if you have not 100% the same bootapplication on the devices. In case you copy the whole Application (PLCLogic) directory it should work out of the box - but only with 100% same bootprojects as mentioned above. By the CODESYS Automation Server would help solve this too.

Because filling in one by one is very time consuming I want to use export function and edit .csv file in Excel. Make sure the number of bytes matches the values in the Ethernet/IP>Assembly Information section of the Wagos web management page (expand by clicking on the +). The EDS file will probably have defaulted to assemblies 101 and 104. If you want a different assembly there is an article that tells you how to modify but seems to be unavailable at the moment. An alternative is to modify the .eds file to change the default assemblies.
