Hi @TimvH, In the meantime, I did some experiments and could find a way to achieve similar result. I made some tests, removing the last card from the array, seeing the change on status. It's good that you've found a workaround. But it's bad that you need one. The array length auf my struct is 16. My struct also contains other arrays of structs. It contains a total of 1716 variables. I have tested saving and loading extensively under version 4.3.0.0. It looks good. I couldnβt find any problems. Maybe it helps to reinstall the update (see previous post). Otherwise you could try my test project (first post). This should work with version 4.3.0.0.

Hello all, I am trying to run a XY trajectory from a static G-Code file. Everything works except the smoothing/blending of the corners. My setup: Codesys v3.5sp18 Raspberry Pi 4 CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi SL, using demo license. Zero axes (only using the interpolator). The order of processing for my decoding is: SMC_NCDecoder (ok) SMC_SmoothMerge (ok) SMC_SmoothPath (not ok) SMC_LimitDynamics SMC_CheckVelocities I created following instances and buffers: fbNCDecoder: SMC_NCDecoder; fbSmoothMerge: SMC_SmoothMerge; fbSmoothPath: SMC_SmoothPath; fbLimitDynamics: SMC_LimitDynamics; fbCheckVelocities: SMC_CheckVelocities; aNCDecoderBuffer: ARRAY[0..49] OF SMC_GeoInfo; // buffer stage 1 (fbNCDecoder) aSmoothMergeBuffer: ARRAY[0..19] OF SMC_GeoInfo; // buffer stage 2 (fbSmoothMerge) aSmoothPathBuffer: ARRAY[0..99] OF SMC_GeoInfo; // buffer stage 3 (fbSmoothPath) aLimitDynamicsBuffer: ARRAY[0..39] OF SMC_GeoInfo; // buffer stage 4 (fbLimitDynamics) My original G-Code file has a lot of short G1 elements but this example, I reduced it to a simple square: N000 G51 D10 N010 G38 O1 N020 G00 X0 Y0 F50 E1000 E-1000 N030 G01 X0 Y-37.5 N040 G01 X-75 Y-37.5 N050 G01 X-75 Y37.5 N060 G01 X0 Y37.5 N070 G01 X0 Y0 N080 G50 N090 G39 O1 In the Codesys CNC settings, I have these instances activated: SMC_SmoothMerge SMC_SmoothPath SMC_LimitDynamics SMC_CheckVelocities And with those settings (and the path-preprocessing button actived), the G-Code viewer shows the square with nicely blended corners (see attached picture). However, when running it on the PLC, it doesn't blend the corners at all. Below the relevant part of my code. The process is started with bDecode. // stage 1: decoding G-code fbNCDecoder( ncprog := square, bExecute:= bDecode, bAbort:= NOT bDecode, nSizeOutQueue := SIZEOF(aNCDecoderBuffer), pbyBufferOutQueue := ADR(aNCDecoderBuffer) ); // stage 2: merge short linear segments fbSmoothMerge( bExecute := bDecode, poqDataIn := fbNCDecoder.poqDataOut, nSizeOutQueue := SIZEOF(aSmoothMergeBuffer), pbyBufferOutQueue := ADR(aSmoothMergeBuffer), piMaxDifference := PI_MAX_DIFFERENCE, usiMaxDegree := 5, wFeatureFlag := 1, wAdditionalParamNumber := 0, dMinimumCurvatureRadius := D_MIN_CURVATURE_RADIUS ); // stage 3: smooth corners fbSmoothPath( bExecute := bDecode, bAbort := NOT bDecode, poqDataIn := fbSmoothMerge.poqDataOut, eMode := SMC_SMOOTHPATHMODE.SP_SPLINE5_MIN_CURVATURE, eAddAxMode := SMC_SMOOTHPATHADDAXMODE.SPAA_NONE, nSizeOutQueue := SIZEOF(aSmoothPathBuffer), pbyBufferOutQueue := ADR(aSmoothPathBuffer), dAngleTol := D_ANGLE_TOL, bSymmetricalDistances := TRUE, bImprovedSymmetricCuts := TRUE ); // stage 4: keep acc/dec and velocity within limits fbLimitDynamics( bExecute := bDecode, bAbort := NOT bDecode, poqDataIn := fbSmoothPath.poqDataOut, wAxis := 16#07, nSizeOutQueue := SIZEOF(aLimitDynamicsBuffer), pbyBufferOutQueue := ADR(aLimitDynamicsBuffer), bIncludePathSettings := TRUE, dMaxVel := 2500, dMaxAccDec := 10000 ); // stage 5: check the path speed fbCheckVelocities( bExecute := bDecode, bAbort := NOT bDecode, poqDataIn := fbLimitDynamics.poqDataOut, dAngleTol := D_ANGLE_TOL); pathQueue := fbCheckVelocities.poqDataOut; // repeat until MaxDuration ... Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Is smooth path supposed to work at all when using a demo license? Thanks.

See: https://forge.codesys.com/prj/codesys-example/element-collect/home/Home/ This contains an application "OnlineChangeSafeLinkedListExample". What you should do is create a new interface which has your "Priority" property. Then your FB should extend the base element function block and implement your own interface: E.g. FUNCTION_BLOCK MyElement EXTENDS COL.LinkedListElementBase IMPLEMENTS I_MyInterface Then the __QUERYINTERFACE does the magic to check if your "element" also implements your interface. Something like this: // Compares this element with itfElement. // Returns 0 if the elements are equal, < 0 if the element is less than itfElement, // > 0 if the element is greater than itfElement. // This method will be called from sorted collections (e.g. |COL.SortedList|) to sort the elements. // IMPORTANT: The underlying value to be compared with MUST NOT be changed during the lifecycle of the object. METHOD ElementCompareTo : INT VAR_INPUT (* The element to compare*) itfElement : COL.IElement; END_VAR VAR itfIntElement : I_MyInterface; xResult : BOOL; END_VAR // We use integer iInt1 for sorting. xResult := __QUERYINTERFACE(itfElement, itfIntElement); IF xResult THEN IF iInt1 < itfIntElement.Priority THEN ElementCompareTo := -1; ELSIF iInt1 > itfIntElement.Priority THEN ElementCompareTo := 1; ELSE ElementCompareTo := 0; END_IF ELSE ElementCompareTo := -1; END_IF

Post by akrawczyk on Dynamically enabling/disabling Modbus slave devices in runtime (performance issue with timeouts)
CODESYS Forge
talk
(Post)
Hi everyone, I'm working on a CODESYS-based project running on a Weintek cMT2078X HMI with a built-in CODESYS runtime. The system communicates with multiple Modbus RTU slave devices, arranged in a cascade. The number of connected units can vary between 2 and 8, depending on the installation. Each slave has 17 Modbus channels, which are polled cyclically every 5 seconds. The issue is that when fewer devices are physically connected (e.g. only 3 out of 8), the Modbus master still attempts to communicate with all configured slaves. This leads to massive delays due to timeouts (currently 200ms per channel). For one disconnected device, thatβs: 17 Γ 200ms = 3.4 seconds of delay per polling cycle, and this quickly multiplies with each additional missing slave. This behavior significantly degrades the system's performance and responsiveness. We attempted a workaround where we tried to trigger polling based on a variable in the PLC program, but this caused instability and even led to hardware hangs/freezes on the cMT2078X β likely due to clashes in how the Modbus polling engine and program logic interact at runtime. My main questions are: Is there a way in CODESYS to dynamically enable/disable Modbus slave devices at runtime, using a BOOL or INT variable (e.g. indicating number of active slaves)? Can devices or channels be conditionally polled or temporarily disabled without removing them from the device tree? Are there any best practices or examples for handling variable numbers of Modbus slaves in scalable systems like this? Would splitting communication across tasks or interfaces help reduce the impact of timeouts? Any advice, documentation references, or architectural suggestions would be extremely helpful. I'm looking for a robust way to dynamically scale slave polling without degrading system stability or performance. Thanks in advance!

Hi all, I'm looking for help with an issue I've come across while trying to facilitate Modbus communication between a WAGO PFC200 PLC using a 750-652 communication module and an iEM2050 Series Single Phase Energy Meter. I believe to have everything wired and setup correcty, but I keep running into a "Error time out" message, and by now I don't really know what else to try. My setup is as follows: A PFC200 Wago PLC, which has 2 750-652 Serial Interfaces extension modules connected to its field bus. I'm using one of these to talk to a Schneider iEM2050 - kWh-meter over modbus. I have connected terminal 23 (A) of the iEM2050 to connector 6 (A) on the 750-652. I have connected terminal 24 (B) of the iEM2050 to connector 2 (B) of the 750-652. I'm using 200mm of twisted together wires to connected them both, and I have placed a 120 ohm resistor between A and B at both ends. I've attached relevant pinout images to this post. I then wrote a simple program that configures the Mobus port, as per the datasheet of the iEM2050. You can find an image of the relavent page attached to this post too. This is my program: PROGRAM PLC_PRG VAR Master: FbMbMasterSerial; xIsConnected: BOOL; xError: BOOL; iIndex: INT := 1; xTrigger: BOOL; utQuery : typMbQuery := ( bUnitId := 1, // The Modbus unit or slave address bFunctionCode := 4, // Function code for reading input registers uiReadAddress := 1829, // adress for the Power on off counter uiReadQuantity := 1 // Quantity of registers to read ); iStep: INT; oStatusModbus: WagoSysErrorBase.FbResult; utResponseModbus: typMbResponse; xConnect: BOOL := FALSE; delayTimer: TON; END_VAR Master( xConnect:= xConnect, I_Port:= _750_652_24_1, udiBaudrate:= 9600, usiDataBits:= 8, eParity:= WagoTypesCom.eTTYParity.Even, eStopBits:= WagoTypesCom.eTTYStopBits.One, eHandshake:= WagoTypesCom.eTTYHandshake.None, ePhysical:= WagoTypesCom.eTTYPhysicalLayer.RS485_HalfDuplex, xIsConnected=> xIsConnected, xError=> xError, oStatus=> oStatusModbus, eFrameType:= WagoAppPlcModbus.eMbFrameType.RTU, tTimeOut:= T#5S, utQuery:= utQuery, xTrigger:= xTrigger, utResponse:= utResponseModbus); delayTimer(IN := TRUE, PT := T#3S); // Use the Q output of the timer to set xConnect after the delay IF delayTimer.Q THEN xConnect := TRUE; END_IF CASE iStep OF 0: //Wacht totdat de master de poort geopend heeft IF xIsConnected THEN iStep := 1; END_IF 1: //Stuur request naar de slave xTrigger := TRUE; iStep := 2; 2: //Wacht totdat de master klaar is met het afhandelen van de request IF NOT xTrigger THEN iStep := 3; END_IF END_CASE The TON delay before opening the port is due to a an error I encountered when opening it straight away. This seems to be a bug, as described here. However, the TON solved that particular issue. I tried reading multiple registers, but like I said, I still always end up with the "Error time out". What else can I test or try at this point?

Strangely reminds me to my struggles... Want to do something "Elegant", reusable, universal, practical... In CODESYS??? π First of all, before you get too deep into this: If you could find a way, to make a "universal" log entry object, containing the variable length data itself, you wouldn't be able to store them in an array, or access them like an array, or pass them by value as a type. (please correct me, if I'm wrong, incorrect, or not precise). Because... Basically you can't declare a type with variable memory footprint. This is a very deeply embedded characteristic of CODESYS, and all IEC 61131-3 systems, and it has many reasons behind. And yes, it is a very common trap / mistake, to forget about. So, with a log entry - I guess - it's pretty much the purpose: store data and metadata together, and then handle it in a uniform way. There are ways to handle this, really depends on what is the purpose. For example: 1. Entries with fixed length (Maybe it is not as evil as it looks for the first time. Depends on the situation, but definitely the fastest and easiest code) You can have your base object, with an internal, fixed length string or byte array variable. I would go with a string, and call it _Data.; And then you can make properties, like As_Bool, As_Int, As_Real... In the 'set' accessors, you can do like: pReal := ADR(_Data); // POINTER TO REAL As_Real := pReal^; In the 'get' accessors, evidently: pReal := ADR(_Data); // POINTER TO REAL pReal^ := AS_Real; Or, can use ANY type, if you are not obsessed with variable / property like access: 2. Fixed length, but nicer First, some disadvantage to any values: - You can only assign values with write access. No literals, constants, etc... - Can only be used as input variable of function or function_block - Therefore, stg you could reach: LogEntry.Initialize (stVariable|rVariable|iVariable|xVariable); Just a quick example (it's funny to play with ANY): Be careful it was not tested. I'm sure can be done better, please feel free to comment FUNCTION_BLOCK FB_LogEntry VAR_INPUT MsgClass : UDINT; // Like DEBUG, WARN, ERR... MsgCode : UDINT; // Like Errors.ERR_FAILED MsgTS : DT; // The timestamp END_VAR VAR _Data : STRING(80); // Our data container... _Descr : __SYSTEM.AnyType; // A standard descriptor for our data, containing TYPE_CLASS, address and size END_VAR METHOD SET_Value : BOOL VAR_INPUT anyValue : ANY; END_VAR VAR I : DINT; diSize : DINT; pStr : POINTER TO STRING; END_VAR // Check what did we receive in anyValue. diSize := anyValue.diSize; // We use constant __SYSTEM.TYPE_CLASS to identify the received data type CASE anyValue.TypeClass OF // Maybe we don't want to store references, pointers... and who knows what else... __SYSTEM.TYPE_CLASS.TYPE_REFERENCE, __SYSTEM.TYPE_CLASS.TYPE_POINTER : SET_Value := FALSE; // For the planned types we will be just fine. TYPE_CLASS.TYPE_BOOL, TYPE_CLASS.TYPE_INT, TYPE_CLASS.TYPE_REAL : SET_Value := TRUE; // Optionally string can be handled separately, maybe we have received STRING(255), but practically it is shorter than 80 bytes... IF anyValue.TypeClass = TYPE_CLASS.TYPE_STRING THEN anyValue.pValue[anyValue.diSize -1] := 0; END_IF GET_Value := TRUE; RETURN; END_IF // ... But can play more CASE anyValue.TypeClass OF TYPE_CLASS.TYPE_WSTRING : ; // Could do conversion TYPE_CLASS.TYPE_XSTRING : ; // Wow, I have to figure this out TYPE_CLASS.TYPE_PARAMS : ; // BTW, what is this, how to use? TYPE_CLASS.TYPE_ANYNUM : ; // ... END_CASE Be careful it was not tested. I'm sure can be done better, please feel free to comment 3. If you really want to do entries with variable size In a standard environment, it would be similar to the previous, except you dont have the container variable _Data, just use a pointer, practically _Descr.pValue At Initialize (SET_Value), you have to allocate the memory, would be easy with SysMem.SysMemAlloc - nowadays with SysMem.SysMemAllocData -, and you make sure to release it after use with SysMem.SysMemFreeData... SysMemAlloc was already hidden. The problem with this, that sooner or later your application will totally fragment the dynamic memory, and fail... So should look for some form of dynMaybe MemUtils.MemoryManager (I am not sure what is the status and the future of it). 4. You will end up by a LogEntry Factory ... 5. You could still have a look at this IEC Snippets BTW, Standard Codesys Logger is not a bad choice either. If you are really interested, I share some more code / library.

Thank you for your advice Rinie, I have tried to follow this example but found one problem. When I disconnect with Hercules the system does not acknowledge the lost of its connection this could result in critical errors. Because of this error I am trying to implement the Syssocket library. With this library I am having a problem which I could not solve. I have the following code: ip_adres : STRING :='0.0.0.0'; port : WORD := 5000; iStep : INT := 1; // Socket information Socket_handler : SysSocket_Interfaces.RTS_IEC_HANDLE; Socket_handler_result : SysSocket_Interfaces.RTS_IEC_RESULT; Socket_adress : SysSocket_Interfaces.SOCKADDRESS; Addres_Convert : SysSocket_Implementation.RTS_IEC_RESULT; // Bind information Bind_handler : SysSocket_Interfaces.RTS_IEC_RESULT; // Listener Information Listener_handler : SysSocket_Interfaces.RTS_IEC_RESULT; Addres_Convert := SysSocket_Implementation.SysSockInetAddr(szIPAddress:= ip_adres,pInAddr:= ADR(Socket_adress.sin_addr)); Socket_adress.sin_family:= SysSocket_Interfaces.SOCKET_AF_INET; Socket_adress.sin_port := SysSocket_Implementation.SysSockHtons(usHost:= port); CASE iStep OF 1: // Create Socket Socket_handler :=SysSockCreate( iAddressFamily :=SysSocket_Interfaces.SOCKET_AF_INET, diType:=SysSocket_Interfaces.SOCKET_STREAM, diProtocol:=SysSocket_Interfaces.SOCKET_IPPROTO_TCP, pResult:=ADR(Socket_handler_result)); IF Socket_handler = SysSocket_Interfaces.RTS_INVALID_HANDLE THEN iStep := 1; ELSE iStep := 2; END_IF 2: Bind_handler := SysSocket_Implementation.SysSockBind( hSocket:=Socket_handler, pSockAddr :=ADR(Socket_adress), diSockAddrSize:=SIZEOF(Socket_adress) ); 3: Listener_handler := SysSocket_Implementation.SysSockListen( hSocket :=Socket_handler, diMaxConnections :=1); END_CASE When I am trying to get this working, the SysSockBind function gives a value of 16#207 which means adress already in use. I find this weird because of the IP-adress of 0.0.0.0. I think I am converting the Ip-adress in the wrong way, but the code does not give a error arround this. So therefore I cannot find the solution to this problem. I hope someone could help me with this problem. Thanks in advance George

I'm not sure it will work, but you could try it with the CmpCharDevice library. You could create a function block that looks something like this: As input for the filename, you have to use your Linux device, e.g.: '/dev/input/event0' '/dev/input/by-path/platform-button@23-event' Off course you must also pass the pointer to the memory where the data can be written to and the size (count in number of bytes) of the buffer. FUNCTION_BLOCK FB_CharDevice VAR_INPUT szFilename: STRING; pbyBuffer : POINTER TO BYTE; udCount : UDINT; END_VAR VAR_OUTPUT iState : INT := 0; nrBytesRead : DINT; END_VAR VAR xInit : BOOL := TRUE; dFlags: DINT := CmpCharDevice.ACCESS_MODE.O_RDONLY + DINT#4000; // see details for flags: http://linux.die.net/man/2/open, + DINT#4000 is for non-blocking hDevice: CmpCharDevice.CmpCharDevice_Implementation.RTS_IEC_HANDLE := -1; Result : CmpCharDevice.CmpCharDevice_Implementation.RTS_IEC_RESULT; END_VAR IF xInit THEN hDevice := CmpCharDevice.CDOpen(szFilename, dFlags ,Result); // if it would not succeed, the result is -1 (Invalid handle) IF hDevice <> 16#FFFFFFFF AND Result = 0 THEN iState := 5; END_IF xInit := FALSE; END_IF IF iState = 5 THEN nrBytesRead := CmpCharDevice.CDRead(hDevice, pbyBuffer, udCount, Result); ELSE nrBytesRead := 0; END_IF Make sure you close the connection properly, maybe by overwriting the default FB_Exit method of the FB: // Clean up device IF hDevice <> 16#FFFFFFFF THEN __TRY CmpCharDevice.CDClose(hDevice,Result); __CATCH ; __ENDTRY iState := 0; END_IF

Unfortunately I noticed that, and tried: * using CryptoGeteAlgorithmByID within the function call * inputting the raw byte pointer as a testByte * instantiating the _hHash handle within the function body * using a different cryptoID or the raw DINT values from the RtsCryptoID DUT ... to no avail. The pReturn value is also set to 0, which would indicate that it is OK, right? This is odd given that the function is the same within the CryptoDemo example project here, just with a newer version. Is it possible that there is something wrong with the way my bytestring is being set up? I use the following DUTs here: TYPE MESSAGE : STRING(255); END_TYPE TYPE HASH_CODE : ARRAY[0..19] OF BYTE; END_TYPE

Is it possible like G-Code streaming processing (like FANUC or SIEMENS DNC Function )? Or Does anyone know the tips for CODESYS Motion to start moving long Long G-Code File quickly? I have to wait long time after "Start" button to start moving, I have to wait finishing interpreting whole G-Code file, ( and I have to prepare huge buffer to store. ) Now, I'm working on my CNC Project using SMC_ReadNCFile2, and SMC_NcInterpreter to preprocess G-Code. I tried to set SMC_Interpolator.xExecute to true to Start while after SMC_NcInterpreter processed more 50-line of G-Code, but that not worked, I had to wait SMC_NcInterpreter processed all lines to start SMC_Interpolator. G-Code have about 2000 lines of XY of G01 (or more over.. ) of short segment that a CAM software has exploded from NURBS Curve.

Post by otbeka on CAA File Handling: "Read only" error
CODESYS Forge

(Post)
Hi, On CODESYS V3.5.19.50 I am using the latest 3S File Access library (CAA File & CAA Types) to save and retrieve configuration data from the User Data section of an SD card, via file called config.txt. The application reads the file to memory once upon initialisation, and then the only other operation is overwriting the file with the updated configuration whenever the user changes the settings. An issue is ocurring, seemingly randomly, where the config.txt file, and all surrounding directories, cannot be written to by the unit, returning a READ_ONLY_CAA error upon file open. This sometimes does not clear even after power-cycling the PLC several times, yet checking the file permissions with ls -l shows normal read, write, and execute access. I am wondering if this is caused by the PLC itself or by an issue in my application. I have included my CAA File handler function block (SD_Card_Bin(FB).txt) and any associated types/calls below: TYPE ConfigData : STRUCT Config : ARRAY[0..256] OF STRING(64); NumberOfStrings : UDINT; END_STRUCT END_TYPE TYPE Buffer : STRUCT Data : ARRAY[0..SIZEOF(ConfigData)] OF BYTE; DataLength : UDINT; END_STRUCT END_TYPE A case within my MAIN PRG: mode.WriteConfigDataToFile: VisuElems.CURRENTVISU := 'Screen_Write'; IF xModeHasChanged THEN iErrorCount := 0; iRoute := 0; END_IF CASE iRoute OF 0: inBuffer := ConfigData_To_Buffer(GVL.UnitData); xConfigError := FALSE; xDataConfigured := FALSE; iRoute := 1; 1 : //Read Data from Card SD_Card_Bin.strFileName :=FileName; SD_Card_Bin.iFileOperation := 2; SD_Card_Bin(xExecute :=TRUE, WriteBuffer := inBuffer, xDone =>xDataConfigured, xError=>xConfigError, strErrorCodes=>strError); IF xDataConfigured THEN SD_Card_Bin(xExecute :=FALSE); IF xConfigError THEN iRoute := 32767; ELSE iRoute :=100; END_IF END_IF 100: // The end bCurMode := mode.DisplayProcessVariables; 32767: // Config error iErrorCount := iErrorCount + 1; IF iErrorCount > 2 THEN // Repeats 3 times, if no progress abandons and returns error bCurMode := mode.WriteError; ELSE iRoute := 0; // Try again END_IF END_CASE I'd like to rule out my application as the cause of this bug - help via comments or criticism would be greatly appreciated.

Hello? I have a problem with datasource... I am trying to connect to a OPCUA server. I create a datasource, but I can not login into it. I need to use login credentials to login... Everything works fine in UAExpert, but in codesys I cant seem to get in properly using the login credentials... I have tried to configure the datasource initializer but seem to keep failing... Do I need to call it somewhere ? Will the find endpoints work with this configured to store my password ? !

CODESYS Forge

I'm programming an HMI, and on a settings page I have external buttons allow the operator to tab between various elements to select which one they want to adjust. I then use "Input Configuration" > "OnMouseClick" to select which variable to adjust. The problem is, when adjusting the variable the pointer will move to the other elements within the tab order. Is there a way to pause or prevent the pointer to move to the other elements when a variable is TRUE?

Dear all, I have a project where I have two ModbusTCP communication drivers in the application. It's working normally until a power outage or the installation panel is restarted. As soon as the PLC CPU is restarted, the Ethernet port is OK, but the TCP Server displays an "UNDEFINED" error. I can't reset the error using the diagnostic confirmation or the "mbserver.xConfirmError" bit. I noticed that the error only appears in the "mbserver.byModbusError" memory and the description is "UNDEFINED." The "mbserver.xError" memory doesn't flag an error. When using the warm restart function and then START CPU, the devices return to normal operation. The following demonstration images; The main question is: How can I make devices boot automatically? Um using Codesys Version 3.5.20.30 Patch 3+ My CPU is a Weintek Cmtx Built-int - ( CMT3092x )

Post by jbcregen on Accessing parameters from a structure or function block with the web interface

I have a project with hundreds of OPC-UA variables available on the network. A lot of these variables are used actively in various scripts that run in background in the OS (Linux). I'm experimenting with Automation Server and I have a hard time understanding how the web interface populates its parameters list for a given PLC (<plc details="" parameters="" for="" plc="" 'xyz'="">).</plc> In this page, it looks like the only variables available are the ones that are of a "base" type : bool, TIME, String, INT, etc. All the variables that are nested into function blocks or structures are not available in the web interface, even if they are available to any OPC-UA client. Is this a limitation of the Automation Server or is there something that can be done in Codesys?

You have to update the device in your IDE to 3.5.14 or you can contact your Codesys runtime supplier to know how to set the connected system to 3.5.19

To search for an exact phrase, put it in quotes. Example: "getting started docs"
To exclude a word or phrase, put a dash in front of it. Example: docs -help
To search on specific fields, use these field names instead of a general text search. You can group with AND or OR.
