Hi everyone, I am working with CODESYS 3.5.21 and using the Date/Time Picker inside a dialog (popup visualization). I noticed a behavior that seems problematic: The Date/Time Picker does NOT update the bound variable immediately. It only updates when the control loses focus/select. This causes an issue in my dialog: User selects a new date/time Immediately presses OK (which closes the dialog) The new value is NOT saved The variable still contains the old value So it seems the Date/Time Picker still holds the value internally and does not commit it before the dialog is closed.

We use several control units running on Raspberry Pi, programmed using Codesys software, with multiple licenses stored as soft containers. We are planning to update the SD card image of the Raspberry Pi to a newer OS version. However, we are concerned that this process might result in the loss of our soft container licenses. Is there a way to temporarily deactivate the license so that it can be reactivated on the updated system? Alternatively, what would be the best method to preserve the licenses during the update? I've been moving in the same direction. For new libraries, I'm trying to minimize dependencies on APIs that look like they're being phased out unless the documentation explicitly recommends them. For synchronization primitives like CAA.BOLT and CAA.SEMA, I'd love to see an official replacement or abstraction layer that's guaranteed to remain stable across runtimes. That would make library development much cleaner than relying on platform-specific SysLib* implementations or conditional compilation everywhere. Until there's clearer guidance, my approach has been to isolate the locking mechanism behind a small wrapper interface. If CODESYS changes the recommended API in the future, only that wrapper needs to be updated instead of every library that uses it. Hi, sorry I was not there for a long time. The TCA9548 needs terminating resistors, do you have them in? That's why I went to QWIIC, the muxboard already has them built in. If it still does not work, try it first without the muxboard. PS: Note the channel assignment. Muxboard 0 = I2C_Master 1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 Muxboard 1 = I2C_Master 2,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 etc.

Hi, I suppose that you are referring to the error code "SMC_FB_WASNT_CALLED_DURING_MOTION"? Starting of Softmotion version 4.15.0.0 the instance path of the function block that has not been called is logged into the device log. This might help you to identify why it has not been called.

Gentleman OMG, I made a huge mistake when i tried and moved shaft by hand i hold cover(as on photo) in my fingers. I was convinced that shaft has key but it there is not key. So when i turn cover it slide on shaft. When i take off cover and drive is in standstill, shaft does not move. So everything works perfectly

Hi, I have the same problem. Some of the libraries I created over time depend on writing files to a folders like c:\Temp. I can confirm that proposed solution is not working with 3.5.20 Patch 2. Can you please specify wich exactly .cfg file needs to be modified and in what way, in order to include c:\Temp in the SysFile path? Thank you!

I made hardware reboot and it still not working. I also tried Persistence Manager which need Application Composer Single License but Codesys support said that my runtime do not compatibile with it and it will avaiable in 2025 only. So I hope I will figured out how to use this code.
