This is a known bug in e!Cockpit. See Release notes of V 1.11: 1 e!Cockpit Release Version 1.11 (2022-07) ATTENTION: If a library that uses asynchronous tasks (e.g. WagoAppConfigTool, WagoAppCloud or function modules such as Dali-Master) is dragged into the project, the simulation cannot be started. It is already sufficient to add the library to the project (an FB does not even have to be instantiated). I guess you are using one of these libraries/modules in your project. We e.G. often use PWM modules, these are also affected.

Hello everyone, I created a visualization with a lot of REAL, with one or two digits after the decimal point. This causes me problems in terms of rounding and memory... is it possible to display an integer with a comma, like with PROFACE or SIEMENS? It's just an "abuse" of display, the comma is just on the visualization. This limits the memory (16 versus 64 bytes) and rounding is easier to manage... See print screen on proface software THANKS

Hi all, I need a help. I want to create Frame where some parameters are done via reference input to this frame. What I have realized that if I use for Label/Caption etc. string variable (%s) it is not included in translation list. This is a quite a big deal and I did not find way how to add text to the list manually. Would you give me a hint how to proceed? I hope there is a way (workaround) how to do it. Thanks a lot. M.

Hello, I'm trying to access the group IDs of the connected user. "CurrentUserGroupId" var shows only the first group ID that the user is assigned, I need the other group IDs that the user is in. Hello. I forgot the password to ControlWinV3X64. I watched on youtube that i must delete folder from "ProgramData/CODESYS/CODESYSControlWinV3x64" But the problem is that in the the CODESYS there is no folder named CODESYSControlWinV3X64. I checked if the folder is hidden but it's just not there. I can't find it and can't reset the password. Could you help me to reset this password. I even tried to uninstall and install the CODESYS but nothing helps.

Yes, this point is part of my misunderstanding. Why, after the execution ot the motion FBs is set to FALSE and exsecuted at lest one time, it must be continuosly called, even if the motion control it's take from another subsequent instruction. This is what I really don't undertand, but what in fact it's happening. For example, in case of stopping a MoveVelocity FB, then Halting the motion by the related FB, the axis at spot goes into error. If there was bad trigger management, the various instructions would NEVER work.

I was answering your last paragraph Meanwhile, I would like to understand why the motion FB instances must still be called even after the Execute is set to FALSE, especially in view of the fact that the next instruction is programmed to abort the previous one, with BufferMode set to 'Aborting'. All these unnecessary FB calls are an unnecessary overhead on the CPU anyway. Is there any precise rule about when to cease calling the various instances? (It should precisely be the 'done' status that says this one has finished its work).

An interesting remark for CODESYS Support. I found this after looking through the Runtime Deploy Tool messages when I connect to an AMD64 architecture Successfully Connected to Target ( {MyIP} - AMD64 ) when I connect to an ARM64 architecture (Raspberry Pi5) Successfully Connected to Target ( {MyIP} - ) As clearly seen in the attached .png, the AMD64 target is detected, while the ARM64 target architecture is not detected (displayed). I assume that this is the reason why the pulldown menu isn't populated correctly.

Dear Forum, We are currently making the switch from OPC-DA (Codesys server) to OPC-UA (Running on a Codesys controller). We are using Codesys version 3.5 SP 20. Our Scada system is expecting Boolean's to be represented as a 0/1 (True Boolean) but the OPC-UA server is representing a boolean as False/True This indeed matches the OPC-UA standard, but is there a way to configure the OPC-UA server's boolean representation? You have declared the function block in a function and call the instance also from a function. This is not correct, because a function is initialised with every call. The http client function block should be declared as Global Variable if you want to cal it from a Function, but probably it is better to declare it in a Program and also call the instance of the http function block from the same Program.... The variables of a Program are not initialised with each call.

hi, Does anyone know how to optimise the responisiveness of the web visualisation? When i open the webvisu on my laptop it is very responsive, no noticable lag. But when i open it on the HMI (web client) at the customer site there is a lag of +-500 when opening popups etc. The hmi used is: Phoenix Contact WP 6156-WHPS full hd Arm® Cortex®-A53, 1.6 GHz qt web browser The clients performance seems to be the problem, what can i do in my project to decrease the load for the client?

Hi everyone, I am working on a 3 axes Cartesian robot. I take control of all the axes. In the Ethercat connection, the drive sequence is the same as in the program. For example, in the current program the order is as follows. 1. Axis_Z 2. Axis_X 3. Axis_Y Communication Diagram PLC->Drive_Z->Drive_X->Drive_Y When I try to change the order in the program while keeping the communication diagram the same, there is an axis drive mismatch. How can I fix this?

Is there a way to access the variable in the called dialog? Example: Text Field element with PLC_PRG.myVar as Text variable. OnMouseClick configured to write variable with keypad pop-up. OnValueChanged configured to Execute ST RND(PLC_PRG.myVar,2); Rather than change myVar with each copy of this Text Field, is there a way to access whatever the configured text variable is? Generally try to stay away from ST in visu, but was curious regardless.

Update, installed 3.5.19.70 with the same result. The error message is as useful as a chocolate fire guard. The container SN is in the 130-xxx range which should work. The Version, Chip, Rev number don't mean anything to me. There is no SD Card installed. I've also reinstalled a fresh Wago FW22 image, Deployed PFC200 SL and Edge for Linux, still the same result.

Hi, The '' characters in Codesys are there only to indicate it is a STRING type. They are not actually added to the string, maybe you are adding them unintentionally in the concat function? You can send your data from Codesys to Hercules to verify... Another option is to send the data as an array of bytes instead of a string, with every byte representing 1 ASCII character. https://www.ascii-code.com/ This way you are 100% sure Codesys is not adding any unwanted characters.

Hi George, I do not know what the problem is with the syssocket implementation, but when i read the forums it seems the Net Base Services library is the recommended way to go. There is another more extensive example here: https://forge.codesys.com/prj/codesys-example/plc-chat-nbs/home/Home/ I have just tested this example and it works very well, also with closing and opening the connection from hercules... good luck!

Are you sure when running as service, it is not reading configuration from C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\CODESYS... ? Is the SRV user is set for the CODESYS services? 2 ways to fix it: Change the CODESYSControl.cfg in the installation directory (ProgramFiles/CODESYS...). Replace %APPDATA% with something fix. Modify the service configuration in windows service manager to run as a different user (ie bot as Local system account)

If you are switching a frame based on the "Switch Frame Variable", then just use a variable that is accessible to your program to set your active frame. If you're trying to see which is the active visualization, then use the "CurrentVisu" variable. Note you'll need to enable this by checking it on in the Visualization Manager settings. If it's neither of those, you'll need to be more clear on how you're project is set up.

I'm programming an HMI, and on a settings page I have external buttons allow the operator to tab between various elements to select which one they want to adjust. I then use "Input Configuration" > "OnMouseClick" to select which variable to adjust. The problem is, when adjusting the variable the pointer will move to the other elements within the tab order. Is there a way to pause or prevent the pointer to move to the other elements when a variable is TRUE?

Hello, I’m using CODESYS V3.5 SP18. When I try to use SMC_ReadNCFile2 to read the file /PlcLogic/gcode.nc, the function block's bBusy output remains TRUE indefinitely. Hey tk96 Thank you for your help. I have found the reason why fbreader stuck. It was not the program but it was the gcode itself. G21 command blocks the reader. And multiple G codes in a line also blocks the reader. My code was: N010 G21 G17 G90 -> Blocked the reader When i change it to: N010 G90 N020 G17 Then it worked. The only thing i did not get is why the reader did not thwor error. ErrorId was SMC_NO_ERROR. Anyway, it is now working. Thanks again.
