I am rather new to Codesys and I'm trying to figure out how to get the status of an alarm. This to interlock the start of a device until the alarm has been acknowledged... I am not sure if IAlarm.GetState (METH) can be used for this purpose. I have experienced the same with one of our customers after updating EIP Scanner to 4.6.0.0 and really baffled by it. The core dump simply shows error with ENIPScanner I/O task and on analyzing it says no source code available for 4.6.0.0. Contemplating to go back to 4.5.1 but 4.6.0.0 has some really nice fixes. I guess it don't matter if it crashes anways. Please keep us posted if you find anything.

Yes, this point is part of my misunderstanding. Why, after the execution ot the motion FBs is set to FALSE and exsecuted at lest one time, it must be continuosly called, even if the motion control it's take from another subsequent instruction. This is what I really don't undertand, but what in fact it's happening. For example, in case of stopping a MoveVelocity FB, then Halting the motion by the related FB, the axis at spot goes into error. If there was bad trigger management, the various instructions would NEVER work.

Hello, if I try to use ERR_Ok in my code to check whether the file is open correctly or not, I get an error "Identifier ERR_OK not recognized", I can use plain 0 (zero) instead. Hello, if you enter %t as a "Text" on a rectangle and do not link a variable in "Text variable", it automatically displays the system time. My question is, where do if find a variable, that contains exactly this time? I tried numerous variants using GetLocalDateTime or GetSysTime but I always have to manage timezones myself (which I do not want to do). I only want a variable with the date an time from my windows system, where the visualization is running. Where can I find this variable?

I've seen that you can use cmds like below to run SA from scripts. system.commands["staticanalysis", "run"].execute() But I would like to run different SA configuration files to create separate logs and cant find anywhere in the scripting engine if this is supported. This stems from if I turn on everything, SA stops reporting issues in the message log when the list gets over 600ish issues. Once we have done an initial clean up of code this wont be an issue, but I'm trying to get a baseline to track improvement.

The RTE will take the RTE license. The HMI will take the HMI license. For the Application Based Licenses, the Runtime will take the smallest which is required. So if you have an application running EtherCAT and no visualization, only the Control with support for EtherCAT is used. If you have another runtime which requires the visualization, it will take the smallest Control license which is required and available + the smallest visualization license which is required.

If yes, how? I defined a TEST integer variable with 300 value. I tried to add this variable to the width record (.TEST or only TEST), but if I saved, the value jumps back to 0. Hi, please check if "Support client animations and overlay of native elements" option is enabled. This option is very heavy to manage for the Webclients. I'm using the Pixsys srl "TC series" HMI with the code "P3" (so a 4+4 cores CPU) that runs very well also with this option active. The same CPU is mounted also in their WebPanel "WP" series, so you can try one of them if you want.

Select in tree "DEVICE", right-click and select "Update Device" Select "Library manager" and Change the version of the Library (down manualy). Samoetimes "Try reload Library". If you open a project version 3.5.19 in version 3.5.16, there are difficulties.

CODESYS runtime version 4.9.0.0 for your Pi. ssh user should be pi. This is for RasperrPi Os 32 bit. If you are on RasperryPi OS 64Bit use Arm 64bit SL product as Runtime.

Hello all, First post. I recently acquired an RPI zero W from amazon, and have been using it with Codesys v3.5 SP19 patch 2. I first got it working yesterday, and after installing the runtime on the Pi, I was prompted to install the edge gateway. Installation of the edge gateway failed because of unsupported architecture, undeterred I was able to connect to the pi and program as I wanted. The issue I've noticed is that if I do not load anything to the pi overnight, I can then no longer connect to the pi and download, although I can still ping it from my pc. I found that if I power cycle the PI, I am then able to connect again, and it works as normal. I did some googling and found instances where people recommended downloading the newest edge gateway, which brings me here. Wondering if there are any suggestions, or if this is a known issue. I actually tried installing all 3 versions of edge gateway for science, but all fail with the same message. Thanks -Dan

Goodmorning TimvH, Thanks for the reply. I don't know if your solution solve my trouble yet, I am going to see the link you sent me. In the mean time I try to explane better what I need to do. I have a turbine system that get in alarm under some condition (E.g low speed of turbine) and block the itself. When the system is stoped there is no speed turbine and the system cannot start. To give to the operetor the possibility to bypass the alarms, there is an acknoledgement alarm pushbutton. This bypass must not work for everyone but only for those client that perform the login by (User Management). Furthermore, if the user perform the (manual or automatic) logout in alarm conditions, the acknowlegment must be annulled and block the system again. To do this, I need to know if an operator is logged in the page and is working to fix the problem; otherwise the syste must autoturn off again. Now I go to study your solution, if I have explaned better and you have another idea tell me please.
