Hi everyone, I'm currently working on a project using Estun Pronet servo drives with EtherCAT communication, and I need the appropriate ESI (EtherCAT Slave Information) files to set up the network. The specific models I'm using are: Pronet-04AEG-EC Pronet-02AEG-EC-R1 Pronet-10AEG-EC-R1 Pronet-20AEG-EC-R1 Pronet-50DEA-EC-R1 If anyone has the ESI files for these models or knows where I can download them, I would greatly appreciate your help. Okey, thank you! Do you think it is something in this library, that makes it possible to do the configuration in a PRG? https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/IODrvEtherCATDriver/Current/IoDrvEtherCAT.html#id1 I think the codesys modbus libraries support configuration and connection to modbus slaves without having to add the slave devices in the device tree. Just do it from function blocks inside the program. I was hoping for something similar with EtherCAT.

Dear forum, We are currently doing some research on the Codesys KNX implementation (https://store.codesys.com/en/codesys-knx-sl.html). We almost have it working but we are missing the last part. The setup: We have a Codesys virtual control container running on docker (4.17.0.0), the I/O is running over an Ethernet IP coupler (Weidmüller), and this is running fine. As far as I’m concerned this tells me that the ethernet device is working properly (the container has access to the outside world, including multicast). Underneath this ethernet adapter the KNX module is added (see picture). In the KNX device (Codesys) 2 input variables are added (see picture), and these are exported to ETS (ETS 5). In ETS A Codesys KNX device has been imported and the Codesys export was imported, afterwards the group addresses are attached to the variables (see picture). Afterwards this configuration is downloaded to the Codesys controller (Container) via ETS. ETS asks for the pressing of the programming button, when the virtual programming button is pressed the download starts and finishes without any errors. This tells me that ETS is communicating with the Codesys controller, and that the download process is ok (so far so good). Now the part where we are struggling with, somehow we need to convert the KNX TP to KNX IP. For this we have the following interface: Zenio KIPI SC (https://www.zennio.com/product/kipi-sc/) this is a KNX TP to IP interface. We have the following setup for this device (see picture) (an IP in the same subnet is used). We tried multiple combinations of IP addresses but the TP devices are simply not communicating to the Codesys container. Does anyone has any advice on what to try next. To make the question more explicit how can we link the TP bus to the Codesys device? Kind Regards Alex

Thanks for the reply, i am using codesys SP16 patch 5 as this is the version that is compatible with my IFM controller. i am accessing the lastusage variable from the VisuStructClientData structure through a pointer. when i log in it lists the time since last log in but does not continually count, it remains a static value which isnt useful. hopefully you can help. Let's say I have a CODESYS controller (PLC) with a runtime version around 3.5.19. If I use development software version 3.5.21.40 or a later version that will be released in the future for programming, could there be any problems or malfunctions in the controller's program execution or in the execution of the new, updated function blocks from the newer software? I mostly work with servo-based motion applications, so please keep that in mind when answering, and provide a detailed answer so I don't have to email you again about this topic.

Hello, I have experienced the same issue as described above but for the Modbus Serial configurator. Looking for a solution. In v3.5 SP19 Patch 7 the Modbus Serial Master Slave configurator has a "virtual" limit of 10 channels. In v3.5 SP18 Patch 5 this virtual limit does not exist. I can successfully copy back and forth from 18 to 19 with out any build error. However, this is not a good solution for our customers. What is even more confusing is that the IoDrvModbus library is the same version (4.3.0.0) for both SP18 and SP19. Please help in providing a fix to the virtual channel limit of 10 in SP19. Thanks,

Hi @tk096, Thank you for your response. Here is example project file and some screenshot for your analysis regarding this matter. In order to reproduce the problem on your side and make it independent of the hardware, I simulated the encoder counter incrementally for the master in this example. I configured a virtual axis as the slave motion axis. The problem occurs in the same way in the real hardware configuration (servo drive connected to Ethercat and hardware incremental encoder) in MC_CamIn. I hope this example helps you see the problem on your side and understand and find the source of the problem with FreeEncoderAxis for Softmotion 4.17.0.0. Best Regards, Imdat

Hallo Zusammen Evtl. könnt ihr mir dabei helfen. Da ich noch nicht viel Erfahrung habe mit Codesys und EtherNet/IP wollte ich es hier versuchen. Ausgangslage: Ich will eine Verbindung mit EtherNet/IP zwischen wago PFC200 und Feldbuskoppler herstellen. Den WAGO Kontroller und den Feldbuskoppler haben eine IP und sind Ping-bar. Im Codesys haben beide Geräte auch die richtige IP. Beim Verbinden mit dem Kontroller gibt es keine Probleme, jedoch kann keine Verbindung zum Koppler hergestellt werden und ich weiss nicht wieso. Habt ihr schon Erfahrungen damit? Danke euch...
