Hi, I have the same problem. However I am using ethernet connection not USB. I can ping the PLC and also connect to it via Wago ethernet settings, but I cannot upload using the Codesys 2.3. My PLC is Wago 750-862. The detailed error is - " connect: Connection refused Write attempt from invalid socket. " Any help would be appreciated.

It's probably because you have an INT in the input to the MUL function, which will then try to output an INT as well. INT variables can only handle values of -32768 to 32767. Your value of 523000 won't fit in an INT, so it turns into an invalid number. Use a DINT. This is usually better for working with time values anyway, because time values are all 32 bit. Or if you can't, use INT_TO_DINT(gvlp.detectie_nalooptijd_s) in the input to the MUL function.

Hi everyone! I synchronize the operation of the tripod and the conveyor. I have a problem with the product tracking algorithm on the conveyor (PCS_1). Sometimes I need to stop tracking a product on command without completing the operation. I do this using MC_GroupStop. But when I need to start moving in WCS again (using fb movelinearabsolute), I get a tripod kinematics error - SMC_CP_INVALID_ORIENTATION (Invalid orientation (non-orthonormal matrix or non-unit quaternion, internal error)). MC_ResetGroup does not help. What could be the problem? Has anyone encountered this?

I bought and installed SoftMotion Light now. When I try to add a SoftMotion Light Axis to my stepper drive and I go online it shows: "The license is missing or invalid". See picture What am I doing wrong? This is the right way right? First add your EtherCat XML-File from your stepper driver and then add the SoftMotion Light axis right? Thanks for your help esave

Hi, I tried with another project, using codesys SP20 with the latest visualization installed, I can install the application on my device but it doesn't work I get an exception "invalid license metrics" and the app won't run See attached the metrics in project and allowed by license, and the logs What am I supposed to do ? Everything is in the newest version and the values are lower than allowed and nothing works...

The user Owner is already created by default. Click on Add. ⇒ The dialog box Add User appears. Enter a login name, for example ‘Dev1’, and a password. Leave the option Activated activated. Click on OK. ⇒ On creating a group for the first time, CODESYS now requests you to authenticate yourself to perform this action. In this case, enter ‘Owner’ as the current user. Do not enter a password, just click on OK. The user Dev1 appears in the list and is automatically a member of the group 'Everyone'. Change to the tab Groups, in order to add the user to a new group. ⇒ The groups Everyone and Owner have already been created. Click on Add in order to open the dialog box Add Group. Specify at least one name for the new group, for example ‘Developers’. Activate the checkbox next to the entry User ‘Dev1’ in the field Members. If the PLC is equieped with a USB socket it's possible to copy the user management file via IEC code to a USB stick and restore it at the new plc. The file is located there: /PlcLogic/visu/app_visuusermgmtdb.csv I use this to reset the user management to default in case of the customer has changed passwords and lost it.

Just adding some info regarding the issue above. Logged onto the project using dev3og5 user (see screenshots); appeared to be ok although when attempting to logon to the device message says 'currently not authorized to perform this operation on the device' (screenshot). If user dev3og5 has same permissions as Owner user; why would it not be authorized. I am at a loss; any assistance would greatly be appreciated. Thank you Mike
