Hi micik, I am not sure I am using well the code, because I checked the directory and there is no retains.ret file. Now I deleted the code from my project and the values are still works as persistant variables after ssh reboot it seems to me they retain as their previous value. So I am a bit confused, maybe 4.12.0.0 Raspberry Pi SL solved the persitent variable problem...

Thanks for the reply, i am using codesys SP16 patch 5 as this is the version that is compatible with my IFM controller. i am accessing the lastusage variable from the VisuStructClientData structure through a pointer. when i log in it lists the time since last log in but does not continually count, it remains a static value which isnt useful. hopefully you can help. Thankyou

Hi All, for my robotics application we are building a 2-axis parallel scara using the kin_bipod_rotary kinematics. Codesys implemented limits of [-90°, 90°] according to the documentation: https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/SM3_Transformation/Current/SM3_Transformation/Function-Blocks/Positioning-Kinematics/Parallel-Systems/Kin_Bipod_Rotary.html Would it be possible to overrule these limits somehow, our mechanical limits are more in the range of [-110°, 135°] In this range we also don't encounter point where singularity is an issue. I'm facing an error that show on the codesys and the PLC that dont let either the PLC run or access it using the remote software, Error: program loaded exception Log: exception position:IP=0x0xfffffffe (no IEC context could be retrieved) component: CmpIecTask exception [accessviolation] ocurred: APP=[application], Task=[Task] POU changed, that inhibits an online change, Plase let me know if there is a solution for this issue, Best regards,

What do you mean by continuous movement? You want to continuously follow a dynamic target position? SMC_ControlAxisByPos, which is typically used with CNC Interpolators, could work for that. Instead of feeding the target position in from the Interpolator, feed in the target position from your server instead. Hi. Thanks for the answer. I think I found your post on the Wago forum. I have tried installing all different nodeset versions of the opcfoundation.org/UA but neither work. Though I could not find the nodeset version called 15.09.2021 anywhere online. The opcfoundation repository only goes back to version 1.04.11 2022-03-29. Also wondering how I can generate a custom information model that only refrences the latest version of nodesets?

I can confirm that at my 4ms EtherCAT Master the frames per second is equal at round about 500 with Codesys SP19. The same program at SP16 it was at 380-430 f/sec. for me it will be interesting too, whats the reason is for this high frame count/sec? I havn't had the time to use a paket sniffer and analyse all the frames. I can't help with your other questions, sorry.

Doesnt matter. I have installed sp20 with latest RP 4.13. Same problem. Anyway My large project in RP 4.10 and SP 19 and I need these versions and use same installation programm for Codesys IDE and RP4 package. I did install again, because my SSD broke and now cant update raspberry... I dont know how to translate correctly project to newest version - there are 52769 errors and incompatabilities: after updates libraries anyway some errors still because of devices... I found solution with .deb file from raspberry package - dont need IDE anymore for update raspberry.

It is not always a problem happens, but sometimes a rm takes a long time. I reduced the amount of calls to logi2c.py but I don't understand why TASK-i2c sometimes can cause problems for TASK-CAN

I paid money for the RPi runtime because the Product Description says that GPIO is supported. It is also written in the Versions that since 4.11 RPi5 is supported. And I use 4.13. Nowhere is it mentioned that GPIO is still not supported... It's a pity that the Codesys developers still can't find a way to fix it. Are there plans for when it will be fixed or are the developers too weak? Just wondering, is there anyone with a working GPIO? Can you share the details of your system?

If yes, how? I defined a TEST integer variable with 300 value. I tried to add this variable to the width record (.TEST or only TEST), but if I saved, the value jumps back to 0. Hello, I have a problem when opening the license manager for my raspberry pi (CM4 model) with runtime 4.13.0.0. I select "Device" --> "Soft Container" and click on my device in the scan window but I get this error message : Licensing info not available. There is no dongle attached to this device. I can't install licenses anymore, and I don't understand why is CodeSys looking for a dongle when I specified I wanted to use a Soft Container. Can somebody help me please ? Best regards

Hello, I have a Exor HMI with 2 seperatred ETH interface's. It is Configured as PN Master on ETH interface 1 and the IO's are working, as long as the development PC is connected to the ETH 0 interface. When the PC is disconnected, the PN communication drops and a reconnection is started. I installed the newest device description for Codesys and Firmware for the Panel. The IO Gateway is from Weidmueller What could cause the Problem?

Hallo Zusammen, ich versuche die Bibliothek FloatingPointUtils.compiled-library-v3 zu benutzen. leider kommt dabei folgende Fehlermeldung: Kein Quellcode für dieses Objekt... (siehe Anhang) Wie kann ich diese Bib einbinden? Kann ich diese irgendwo herunterladen? Mein Ziel ist es ein DWORD (float) in ein REAL umzuwandeln. ICh hoffe, dass ich dies mit der Funktion HexStrToReal machen kann. So wie hier: https://gregstoll.com/~gregstoll/floattohex/ convert to float... Oder gibt es bei Codesys einen anderen Weg? Hello, I am new to this forum so apologies if this is posted in the incorrect area. I am getting an error when trying to open the HTML5 Control Editor - this was working fine previous days. I am using Codesys V3.5 SP20 Patch 3. I have reinstalled the application. Below is a screenshot of what shows when I attempt to open HTML5 Control Editor. Would anyone know the solution to rectifying this problem? Thanks in advance. Edit: This is now fixed.

For small project, I would like to use my industrial computer as a PLC + Industrial Computer. Like that I can save the cost of one PLC. That why I am using Codesys on Linux. With the nic it is not working. I already set the IP adress with /etc/network/interfaces. Can it comes from there ? looking to "Control Linux SL" docuemntation it should work with rtu.

Hi, I have a project in Codesys...and i need update a new version of amster ehtercat and i have a problem. The origianl version with create of project was 3.5.13.10 I can change version to Master Ethercat 3.5.13.10 to 3.5.16.70 but i can´t update the last version 4.4.0.0 (I attached the screen "Version Master OK-NO OK"). In the moment update to the last version appear a lot of error("Version Master NO OK") Can anyone help me please?

Any reason the ADS1115 wouldnt work with SP20.1 and Runtime 10.0.0.0 on the Raspberry Pi . Using Bullseye or Buster i run into the same issue: Libary and integration works in general as described above BUT i am seeing "bleeding" between the analog inputs . Specifically consecutive ones: So sometimes the raw from AI1 shows on AI2, AI2 on AI3, .. AI4 on AI1. Even with filtering i cant smoothen that out properly and i feel like something is wrong. Almost like the bus is stumbling over itself, or the request from Codesys to the device.

@eschwellinger...How can migrate to the new version if i can´t do it??? The project generate with CODESYS DEvelopmentsystem Version=3.5. SP16 Path9 ...I want open with my version 3.5 SP19 Patch 4...I can´t update the my last version of master ethercat(4.4.0.0) and is not possible. My situation is not the comment tell you ...my situation is impossible upadte new version of master ehtercat if you create the project with older version. Have you got a idea? Can you help me please?

Thats what I did. The files existed originally, but when I had problems logging in as described I deleted those files (if they in some way had been corrupted causing my problems to login?). After that I have not managed to get the system to re-created these def-files. I manually created the folder structure (from CODESYS file browser) but this has not helped.
