Hi, I'm having some trouble with an OPC client connecting to the PLC. It could be that the problem is on the client side of things. The PLC have UPS power, but the switch and OPC client does not. It could explain some of the log messages. Could any of you help debugging by the log messages in the attachment? And if possible point me to the right library that explains the different messages? Problem solved, Once the perform_network_scan() is done, y just had to recover the address and using set_gateway_and_address(). I just try to help. Anyway it is a big difference if a Store SL runtime or an oem plc and licence is used. These licenses need to be activated on plc side - so you have dependencies to the version (CODESYS and Runtime Version) Did you ever ask Epis out for this situation? They should know which license fit to their device. Even they should know if the device is capable for Softmotion and see the requiremnts in the CODESYS store: Runtime 4.9.0.0 - how should this work with Epis 3.5.16.x? Anyway refund is not a problem.

Hi aniket-b, this error has nothing to do with the scara3 kinematics, or robotics, or SoftMotion. It means that the EtherCAT bus is not synchronized. The usual cause is that the realtime of the PLC is not sufficient. See https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20SoftMotion/_sm_basic_common_errors.html for details and ways to solve the problem. I took a look at your project. First of all, a Raspbery Pi4 is installed. You must use the GPIOs_A_B(GPIOs B+/Pi2). The error ULINT can't be set to IDINT.... with your project as well. If I change your project to ‘CODESYS_Control_for_Raspberry_Pi_SL’ the error is gone.

Hi guys, I ran into problem with the controller is not saving the project into the internal memory. I was able to download the project to the controller, but as soon as I try to recycle the power it power back up with no project. I have not ran into this problem before. Hi, I have a "CODESYS Control Standard L" license and I use Ethercat and Profinet in my project. The project works seamlessly with two fieldbuses. However, when I add modbus_Com (Serial) or 1 OPC Tag to the project, the program throws an exception (Application app=Application has invalid license metrics!). My license should support 10*Modbus and 512 OPC Tags. Why might this problem occur?

Hi, how should that work? You need to download the example project and you need that structure of the project and one of the additional hardware sets https://forge.codesys.com/drv/sm3raspistepper/home/Home/ L298N or A4988, DRV8880. Important to have no GPIO in the project and have this additional tasks.

Hallo zusammen, hi all, ich habe den gleichen Fehler. Auf einem Raspberry Pi geht der Fehler weg, wenn ich alles bereinige und dann vollständig übersetze. Wenn das Projekt im Codesys Development System wieder neu geladen wird ist der Fehler aber wieder da. Mit eine Win V3 x64 PLC kann ich den Fehler nur unterbinden wenn ich auf der HMI das VUM_Login einbinde. Dieses brauche ich aber nicht, da ich die HMI für das User Management selbst gestaltet habe. Das funktioniert auch. I have the same error. On a Raspberry Pi the error goes away if I clean everything and then compile completely. When the project is reloaded in the Codesys Development System, the error returns. With a Win V3 x64 PLC I can only prevent the error if I integrate the VUM_Login on the HMI. But I don't need this because I designed the HMI for user management myself. That works too. Anyone have an idea to fix this problem. Many thanks
