Hallo Forums Gemeinde, hat jemand von euch eine Idde ob und wie es möglich sein könnte die Einstellungen was für die Netzwerk variablen Liste nötig sind, also Broadcast IP, Port usw., über die Application einzustellen? Ich müsste je nach Projekt immer die IP anpassen, da auf den Anlagen die Software Identisch bleibt, wäre es für mich viel einfache diese Einstellungen über den Code einzustellen. Wenn man so im Forum sucht gibt es nicht viel was NetVar angeht... Grüße Andy

Hi! Im slowly starting to loose it and i need som help! After a few night of reading up and testing i´m still stuck as a rock and you guys and girls are my last resort for this project. Basic facts; Win 11 Codesys 3.5 SP19 2 + (64-bit) Raspberry pi 4 model b 2 gb Raspian release 11 aarch64 What keeps me up late at night; Username and Password when trying to connect to device and device only beeing connectable for a few seconds. Some of the things I have tried; Username and passord; Credientials from the raspberry Administrator Administrator admin admin Admin Admin administrator administrator Usernames and passwords that I sometimes use (this was a longshot i know, but i was running out of ideas and energy). :) Epand filesystem, activating i2c, spi, 1-wire I can start the gateway and start the runtime. I cant install the edgearm64, arm64 runtime package eventhough I guess i should, i get code [ERROR] Error output: dpkg: error processing archive /tmp/codesysedge_edgearm64_4.8.0.0_arm64.deb (--install): [ERROR] Error output: package architecture (arm64) does not match system (armhf) [ERROR] Error output: Errors were encountered while processing: [ERROR] Error output: /tmp/codesysedge_edgearm64_4.8.0.0_arm64.deb code as a respons. I have tried to Reset Origin Device - no change. I have tried to remove the /etc/CODESYSControl_User.cfg [CmpUserMgr] but i could not find it and i was not sure if i should add it instead but i did not want to mess somthing up. I have tried to create a second gateway with the specific ip if the pi, that did not help. Could it be that i´m currently connected to the pi through WIFI? I can ping the pi and I can connect and control it through VNC. When i scan to select gateway target (scan edge gateway) i find 17-21 devices but can find the pi throug the mac adress. I started of trying to use the "CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi SL" (I have a license sience earlier) as i read somewhere that this could be used on a Pi4 as well but now i´m trying with the MC SL, no changes, same problem. Right now - gateway version 4.8.0.0 (edgearmHF, armhf), Runtime Package 4.5.0.0 (raspberry, armhf). Any sugestions are very welcome! As mentioned above, theese are some of the things that i have tried/done - but i have been going at this for a while. Best, Martin

hi, i am currently trying to adapt an i/o device for a project. the node id is unknown and there is no eds file available. no data is being emitted from the device as a giveaway, the baudrate is known but useless without the node id. is there an sdo request available to determine the id? i cannot get the device to leave pre op status even with a global nmt request. please help. no hair left.

What maybe helps is the Visu Dialog ST demo project: https://store.codesys.com/en/visu-dialog-st.html This has an application IECOpenDialog where dialogs are opened using the VU.FbOpenDialogExtended function blocks. The fbOpenConfigurationDialog call has a reference (interface) to the "close listener" FB of which it's method is automatically called when the dialog is closed. This way you can create specific function blocks for each dialog when it is closed and do what you want with the data that might have been changed.

Hello All! Having a strange issue. When adding a library, I'm unable to search. Each time a window pops up 'creating the search index' and then has 0 results. I have the same behavior when using the library repository and pressing the 'Find' button. I wonder if there is a way to reset or fix this issue? It is making it very difficult to search and find proper libraries to add to my project. Much appreciated.

Hallo zusammen, für den Aufruf VAR deviceDiag: J1939.IJ1939LocalECU; END_VAR deviceDiag.ChangeAddress(5); gibt es mit der Version 4.1.0.0 der Lib IoDrvJ1939 Übersetzungsfehler - C0035: Programmname, Funktion oder Funktionsbausteinstanz an Stelle von 'deviceDiag.ChangeAddress' erwartet - C0004: 'ChangeAddress' ist keine Komponente von 'IJ1939LocalECU__Union' Mit der bisher verwendeten Lib-version 3.5.17.0 nicht und auch das Setzen der device adress hat funktioniert. Lt. Release notes ("J1939: ChangeAddress method does not work properly.") wurde hier verbessert. Leider habe ich keine Beschbreibung dazu gefunden. Wie muss der Aufruf angepasst werden? Hello, I couldn't figure what/where the issue was, so I deleted everything from automation server and reinstalled the edge gateway and did the process again. It worked for about a month and then it stopped working again. It presents the same symptom, edge gateway is online but I can't connect to the PLC. Any idea of what could be the issue? Thank you!

Hi albert1999 and forest, I hope you are well. I too am wondering if you have found any solutions? Im working with a RPi and a Omron R88D-ETH servo amplifier. The SoftMotion is timing out after 30min without the license, but I cant figure out how to license it, and I seem to have some compatibility issues between my RPi license and any SoftMotion licenses. Did you guys have any luck? Thank you very much for any assistance offered. Toby

What am I doing wrong?

Hallo, ich muss im Rahmen einer Hausarbeit die Steuerung einer Geschirrspülmaschine erarbeiten. Leider bin ich mit dem Programm noch nicht so vertraut und habe Probleme bei meinem Zeitschalter und finde leider selber das Problem nicht. Deswegen zu meiner Frage ob mir jemand helfen könnte. Und zwar kommt das meine Variablen nicht deklariert sind und ich finde aber nicht wieso. Die zwei Screenshots zeigen nochmal den Zeitschalter und das Programm wo der Zeitschalter eingesetzt wird. Hi, I recently got a license for Raspberry Pi, after license activation I made a backup copy of "CMLicenseNew.WibuCmRaU" file to a safe place. Things got complicated and I tried to downgrade OS for some reason after that I tried several times/ways to restore my license with no luck. the specifications are as follows: Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.1 codesyscontrol 4.10.0.0 SDK 3.5.19.30 Logs: **** ERROR: CodeMWriteLicenseFile: 'CMLicenseNew.WibuCmRaU' failed: Container not found or Server dose not support .... Hi, thank you for replying. Basically, I have a main visu with frame selection. So, under some condition the frame will switch to a specific frame. It used to be controlled by variable using "Switch frame variable". However, I realise it will change all the HMI screen at one time. So I removed the variable, and still looking for a solution to do that. Do you have any idea?

It's good that you've found a workaround. But it's bad that you need one. The array length auf my struct is 16. My struct also contains other arrays of structs. It contains a total of 1716 variables. I have tested saving and loading extensively under version 4.3.0.0. It looks good. I couldn’t find any problems. Maybe it helps to reinstall the update (see previous post). Otherwise you could try my test project (first post). This should work with version 4.3.0.0.

I can see the screen from PLC, but i also want to se Input and Output the PLC . I try to scan the network by useing tosibox Gateway but its not working. Where i should looking the problem ? I also tried the option to "Perform static analysis automatically after compilation" # get Project values myProject = projects.primary # Creates an active application app = myProject.active_application # build Application and run static code analysis app.generate_code() Could you please offer any insights into why this might be occurring?

Just adding some info regarding the issue above. Logged onto the project using dev3og5 user (see screenshots); appeared to be ok although when attempting to logon to the device message says 'currently not authorized to perform this operation on the device' (screenshot). If user dev3og5 has same permissions as Owner user; why would it not be authorized. I am at a loss; any assistance would greatly be appreciated. Thank you Mike

Hi everybody We are currently working on a project with an RS232 serial COM interface and using the CAA SerialCOM library. We have it working fine reading and writing data, although we have found an issue we cannot resolve and any suggestions would be helpful. We have noticed that after a while the RS232 stops working. We have tracked this down to the HANDLE hCom keeps increasing and when this reaches 1023 the COM returns an unknown error "5003". Is there a way to reset this hCom reference? Thanks Richard

I bought and installed SoftMotion Light now. When I try to add a SoftMotion Light Axis to my stepper drive and I go online it shows: "The license is missing or invalid". See picture What am I doing wrong? This is the right way right? First add your EtherCat XML-File from your stepper driver and then add the SoftMotion Light axis right? Thanks for your help esave

there is a new problem with latest bootloader version. The problem seems to be: Version from2024-04-20 does not work-> 2024-01-15 version works the workaround is a rollback to January version: cp /lib/firmware/raspberrypi/bootloader-2712/stable/pieeprom-2024-01-15.bin ./pieeprom.bin rpi-eeprom-config pieeprom.bin > bootconf.txt rpi-eeprom-config --out pieeprom-new.bin --config bootconf.txt pieeprom.bin sudo rpi-eeprom-update -d -f ./pieeprom-new.bin sudo reboot
