Looking to access a variable at runtime that indicates a user is online to the code. essentially want to use this value to feedback to the user on the HMI. we use turck and bosch rexroth devices if this information helps. I was hoping there was a variable at the application level, or a library that could be used but I was unable to find anything. I know there's a pop up when you try to login/ go online to the code when a user is already logged in, so the system does provide an indication that it knows already online, but has no access to a value from what I can see. Any help is appreciated

Hallo, auf einer Sabo MKS855.20 habe ich die SoftMotionLight-Lizenz installiert. Zur Programmierung nutze ich V3.5 SP16.0. Die im Projekt verwendete SML 4.7.0.0, SML_Drive_CAN_GenericDSP42 3.5.7.0, CANopen_Manager_Softmotion 3.5.16.0. In der Regel habe ich keine Probleme mit der SoftMotionLight, nur bei dieser Anlage ist es mir jetzt zum Zweiten mal passiert, das ich ein Programmupdate einspiele und die SML in den Demo-Modus wechselt. Die Lizenz ist doch auf der SPS gespeichert, warum wird dann behauptet, dass die SML im Demo-Modus arbeitet. Da ich z. Zt. beim Kunden vor Ort bin und dieser sich im Ausland befindet, benötige ich kurzfristig eine Lösung. Auf E-Mails bekomme ich leider keine Rückmeldung.

Does anybody know how to get a specific text from a text list within a program. Obviously it works in a visualization, but because I will have an HMI that has it's own system and I will have to send variables to this HMI via an OPC UA connection, I need to be able to get a text into a string. I tried using the VisuElems like this, but it only returns an empty "" and nothing else. I use fbMsSQL_compact(FUN) of the MySQL Library to write data to the database. There is no problem when writing data using only fbMsSQL_compact(FUN). However, when I try to write data obtained using SysProcessExecuteCommand2 to the database using fbMsSQL_compact(FUN), an error message "Dest server on ip address:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and port:1433 is unreachable" appears and writing is not possible. From what I have researched, it seems that writing is not completed in one cycle of fbMsSQL_compact(FUN), and when SysProcessExecuteCommand2 is executed first in the second cycle, the work done in one cycle of fbMsSQL_compact(FUN) is reset. Could you please give me some advice?

Hello, I'm trying to connect with a Wago TP600 HMI but without success. I'm using codysis 3.5 SP19 patch 7 (SP20 block all the time) and the official wago package is installed. However, when I scan and select my device, I get a message saying that the device doesn't match the project's device object with the possibility to update the device (as shown in the attached picture). however, after choosing to update i got a message that the device is not found. I've tried with a new empty project but the same results. do you have any ideas? Thanks.

I'm struggling with the implementation of the IElement interface (in the ElementCollections library), which I will use to create a SortedList. I created a class (FB) "Device" that implements this interface and that has a "Priority" property that I want to use in order to compare the devices in my implementation of the ElementCompareTo method. Unfortunately, the IElement.ElementCompareTo method needs an IElement as an input, which doesn't know about the "Priority" property of "Device". I tried to define the input itfElement as a Device, but then it doesn't want to compile, because the type in the implementation doesn't match the interface.

I want to extract each element of an Array. Can someone help me with this. When I use JSONElementToString (part of JSON Utilities SL), I am seeing output as "ARRAY" instead of actual data. Here is the JSON content that I want to read : { "value1Unit": { "units": "M" }, "data": { "stepSize": 300.23, "points": [6,8] } } I would like to read each item of the element "points" i.e. 6 and 8. Reading between the lines of what you did not specify, it therefore seems to appear that in the programme, at the end of the movement order, there is an order to remove power and switch off the pulse modulation. if this is the case, it is obvious that the motor then remains free. If the position is to be maintained at the end of the movement, the motor current modulator, which on the PLC side is controlled via the MC_Power method, must not be interrupted. Another possibility is that in the motor drive settings, the standstill torque current is set very low or zero and without position monitoring. You have to check this via the servo motor drive.

Hallo … ich verwende: SoftMotionLight im Positions-Mode Ethercat-Bus Servoverstärker: Metronix BL4104-C . MC_HALT_SML funktioniert nicht zuverlässig (Achse fährt manchmal zu weit oder bis zum Softwareschalter) Ich habe festgestellt, dass intern beim Aufruf von Positions- auf Velocity-Mode umgeschaltet wird - und dann wird wahrscheinlich intern auf Drehzahl 0 abgeregelt. Kennt jemand dieses Problem? – der Wechsel der Betriebsart ja ist nicht verzögerungsfrei! MC_STOP_SML Der Baustein hat keinen Eingangsparameter "Deceleration" Die Achse stoppt und bleibt im Positions-Mode. Aber die Verzögerung ist nicht wie beschrieben: nicht "Objekt 6085h: quick_stop_deceleration" - sondern "Objekt 6084h: profile_deceleration" - aus zuvor aufgerufenem MC_MOVE_ABSOLUTE_SML Ich wäre dankbar für jeden Hinweis Gruß Bernhard

@gepert, When you say "I do not turn off power", are you saying you don't power off the drive, or you don't turn of the MC_POWER function block? I read your statement as you don't kill actual electrical power. MC_POWER should stay enabled. @Gustavo, not related to problem at all, but when you say 1.6 Nm is only enough torque to unscrew a loose bottle cap, I think that's a bit low. A quick mental math I use is 1 Nm is almost the same force as 1kG applied to a 10cm wrench. So 1.6kG applied to a 10cm wrench is still not a huge force, but more than enough to be felt if trying to turn the shaft by hand.

Hi everyone, I just created a very simple library without any code and, added it to my very simple project. after adding this library, I get an error when I try to open "Symbol Set" in "OPC UA Server" in "Communication Manager". Here is the code of my POU in the library: FUNCTION_BLOCK POU VAR eCommand : (CMD_NONE:=0, CMD_RESET:=-1) INT := CMD_NONE; END_VAR Attached is the error that I get. I also noticed that by removing the enumeration variable above (eCommand), I can open the "Symbol Set" again. Anybody has any idea why this error is raised and how could I use enumeration variables without error in "OPC UA Symbol Set"?

Hi all, I am attempting to use the Control Win V3 soft PLC to control a WAGO 750-315 remote I/O system via modbus RTU communication. I am struggling to connect to the device. I have been following this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlRfkESaNds I have setup my devices as shown in the images below. I have verified that my com port settings are correct as I am able to connect/control using modbus simulator software with these settings. I have also connected to a modbus master simulator program as instructed in the video, but the orange triangles will not go away. Additionally, I have updated my settings to 485 using the PLC shell. I have also set "always update variables" to enabled (1). Serial port, PCI-Bus, and modbus serial device status all show as "Not Running."

Unfortunately I noticed that, and tried: * using CryptoGeteAlgorithmByID within the function call * inputting the raw byte pointer as a testByte * instantiating the _hHash handle within the function body * using a different cryptoID or the raw DINT values from the RtsCryptoID DUT ... to no avail. The pReturn value is also set to 0, which would indicate that it is OK, right? This is odd given that the function is the same within the CryptoDemo example project here, just with a newer version. Is it possible that there is something wrong with the way my bytestring is being set up? Hi, I have an issue with a function which sends a message through API Rest. I'm using a function from httpCLient library. I have tested this function inside a program and it works fine. But when I want to use it inside a function (so I can call it simultaneously from 2 different points on the main program) it gives a stack overflow error. In detail it says: "C0297 Stack Overflow on Main Task. Stack sizes... Call hierarchy:" I have simplified as much as I can the function, but I'm hitting a wall with this. Anybody has an idea of what's wrong? Thanks!

Hi Tim. Not quite correct. What i'd like, is when you place the FB in prog, i choose a block NTC10k, and name this RT401. What i'm trying to do, is to get the name RT401 automaticly into the FB, so i can put this into the string i pass in a struct. So in var in POU, i saw this a place i could do this, RT401: NTC10k(Tag:='RT401'), but i can't get this to work. I shurly must have had something like this in FB: FUNCTION_BLOCK NTC10k String TAG But it's here where I'm stuck...

Hallo zusammen, ich habe ein Problem mit einer Anlage. Dort müsste eine Digital Input Karte(XNE-8DI-24VDC-P) nachgerüstet werden. Das Problem ist, dass wenn ich die Karte über die Steuerungkonfiguration einbinde, die Karte direkt hinter den Eingangskarten und vor den Analogkarten positioniert wird. Dadurch müsste ich die Variablen der Analogkarten ändern, die hinter der Digitalen Eingangskarten sind. Das wäre Mega Aufwand. Gibt es eine andere Möglichkeit? z.B hinter die Analogkarten zu Adressieren? Z.Zt. sieht es so aus: %IB0 %IB1 %IW2 %IW4 %IW6 Zwischen %IB1 und %IW2 soll die neue Karte. Dadurch wird %IW2 zu %IW4. Dadurch müssen alle Variablen nach %IW2 geändert werden. Vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen. Danke Dennis

Bonjour, J'essaie de tester cette application : Je suis bloqué sur les 2 chapitres suivants : Pour la toute première configuration de communication : ajout de la passerelle Spécification du canal de communication En suivant le tutoriel, j'ai bien le point vert disant que la passerelle est OK en localhost sur mon PC Ensuite, en choisissant le chemin vers le controleur et en faisant un scan réseau à partir de cette boite de dialogue, ça ne trouve rien et je finis par avoir un message d'erreur disant que la passerelle n'est pas configuré... De plus, Je ne comprends pas pourquoi il faut passer par une pseudo connexion alors que toute l'appli et donc la simu est sur mon PC...
