Assume I have a rectangle named rec1 from which I want to use the coordinates of the upper left corner. Is there a way to links these X and Y values from the properties to an integer defined in the main program? Note that I just want to use them and not change any of these coordinates in the program.

Dear, We have an issue with SoftMotion and it's licensing. We don't use SoftMotion in this project. But a SoftMotion license is required by it. The License metrics tell's us there is a -1 Axes. Is there a way to reset this? Delete this? There was a MotionControl device in the project, but we have deleted this. But it stayed at -1. Thanks for you help.

My experience is that opening pdf file is very dependent on which browser is used. I have tried a couple of them and only Mozilla Firefox has opened file correctly in same screen. All other browsers face some issues. Therefor I had to flip my pdf to txt which has not been nice solution.

You get fewer tools when you create a new POU and choose ladder diagram instead of ladder logic diagram. Create a new POU and select ladder logic diagram and you should find the additional tools you are looking for in the toolbox.

For example I declarated in GVL_GLOBAL ==> Torque_Mode When I push enter insert in code all rute..GVL_GLOBAL.Torque_MOde...I want see only torque mode...How is possible resolved this problem?? Hi all, I want to know if someone has an idea of how I can write on value change in Modbus Codesys. I have a Wago PLC and I was used to work with E-cockpit which it was quite easy to do that without the necessity to trigger any value when there was a change in the variable ( I will put how easy is ). how you can see just changing the trigger in "On value Change" will do that channel writing automatically when It detects a change in those arrays. On the other hand, in Codesys if I enable the rising edge in Codesys It ask me to put a bool variable and if triggers is going to write that value. That is making me that I have to create a function or a logic to detect the change, the problem I have is that doing that is very tedious. I first approach I got it was to create a Function who returns a bool when the value change, but I tried to keep the old value but what is happening is that in Functions all the data is erased every cycle so I can not keep any Old value. so in the Main program the trigger is going to be TRUE all the time due, the old value is cero every cycle. The second approach I got it was using a function Block (POU_1) and it works but I dont want to instance that function for every Channel or value that I want to check if the value change, Basically if I have 200 values to write trhough modbus I have to create 200 instances of that function which I think it is not practicall at all. It should be a better way to implement this as e-Cockpit from Wago Does. However, I haven't been able to know how.

Hey schnepper, when i look into your c-file, i would say that only the main-function is declared with cext-addendum in your codesys-library-project. all yöur funtions in library has to be the cext-addendum when the external implementation is activ. if i remeber right, methods and other subelements dont need that, but every base-elements

Hallo zusammen, ich habe Schwierigkeiten manche Properties in der Codesys-Application (3.5.19.2) auszulesen. Die Richtung Codesys->Bacnet funktioniert einwandfrei. Für manche Properties, wie z.B. PresentValue funktioniert auch die Richtung Bacnet->Codesys. Beispiel: GVL_Automationstation.udiWartungszeit_Probe := BACnetBinaryValueObjects.BINARY_VALUE_10.udiTimeDelayNormal; oben gelistete Property ändert sich nie in der Codesys Applikation. Hätte jemand einen Ansatz woran es liegen könnte? Grüße Jozef

How to use same communication of similar UDT for Opto22 Groov PR2 PLC in Codesys V3.5 SP20. Can I use OSCAT library - Network -MB_Client or IODrvModbusTCP - ModbusRequest for this requirement?
