Bitte bestätigen Sie, ob die SPS in der Lage ist, diese Dualfunktion — als EtherCAT-Master und gleichzeitig als Modbus-TCP-Server — ohne Konflikte oder Performanceprobleme zu unterstützen. Colleagues, i have the same problems. At the current time, I have to use the new version of the Codesys (3.5.20.10) + Control for Linux SL 4.11.0.0, but it works unstable : theree are a lot of freezes and not-respondings. I tested this on different projects: those that were created in the current version of the project, and those that were migrated from other versions of the development environment. Compiling a project without connecting to a controller is fast enough. The first downloading of the code into the controller, too. But as soon as you need to make edits and download a new code problems begin. Codesys "freezes" at the "Generation code" stage for 15-20 minutes. And only after that time loads the code into the controller. Previously, we used version 3.5.17.60 + Control for Linux SL 4.7.0.0. The process took 1-2 minutes. Do you have any ideas how can i fix it? I will be grateful for your answers.

Guten Morgen, wie der Titel verrät soll es hier um das Ausrollen der CODESYS Runtime auf einem Raspberry Pi gehen. Ob ein klassischer Raspberry Pi aus dem Consumer-Bereich oder ein Compute-Modul spielt in dem Fall keine Rolle. Ich möchte nur anderen Nutzern Hilfestellung geben, die vielleicht ein vergleichbares Problem haben wie ich: Auf Raspberry Pi lief bei mir eine Anwendung, die mit Lizenzen auf einem CODESYS-Dongle lizenziert waren (Multicore-Support und Softmotion). Nach einem Hardware-Defekt habe ich meinen Rasperry Pi gegen eine robustere Lösung getauscht. Ich wollte auf der neuen Hardware die Runtime ausrollen und habe ständig den Fehler gezeigt bekommen, dass die Target- oder Zielsystem-ID nicht stimmt. Für den Raspberry Pi gibt es ja drei verschiedene Optionen der Runtime: 32bit Singlecore (armv6l) 32bit Multicore (armv7l) 64bit Multicore (aarch64) Entscheidend dafür, ob die 32 oder 64 Bit Runtime benötigt wird ist das auf der dem Raspberry Pi installierte Betriebssystem. In meinem Fall hatte ich durch die neue Hardware auch ein aktuellen Betriebsystem-Image aufgespielt, weshalb sich da der Umstieg von 32 auf 64Bit eingeschlichen hatte. In der Entwicklungsumgebung kann über Tools -> Control SL ausrollen das Fenster geöffnet werden, um die richtige Laufzeitumgebung auf dem Steuerungsrechner zu installieren. Bei kleinen Bildschirmen (bei mir ein 15" Laptop) kann der rechte Bereich "abgeschnitten" und das Dropdown-Menü als solches nicht auf den ersten Blick erkennbar sein. Mein Fehler war, dass ich den Scrollbalken nicht gesehen habe! (Bild im Anhang mit freundlicher Genehmigung von Herrn Heberle vom CoDeSys-Support) Nach dem auswählen der jeweils passenden Version kann die Runtime installiert und das Programm wieder geladen werden. Die Lizenzen sind bei mir wieder korrekt erkannt worden und alles läuft wie vorher (nur mit neuer Hardware). Vielen Dank an der Stelle noch mal an die schnelle Hilfe vom Support. Das hat wirklich top funktioniert.

I have just installed Codesys 3.5. sp19 and I have downloaded example with Ethernet Rockwell 1734AENT. ENG For some reason, I can't bind a variable to the data parameter. Also, why does only the sdo_read4 function work for me? I also can't write through sdo_write4. I can only view the received values via sdo_read4. Please help me with this task. Moreover, I tried to write the values through sdo write 4 and for a while the data stopped being written and I overwritten it manually and sdo read4 started working again and at the same time they do not want to work in the main task. RU Я не могу почему то привязать переменную к параметру data. Так же у меня почему работает только функция sdo_read4 так же не могу записать через sdo_write4. Могу только просматривать полученные значения через sdo_read4. Помогите пожалуйста с этой задачей. Причём я попытался записать значения через sdo write 4 и у меня на какое то время перестали записываться данные и перезаписал вручную и sdo read4 начал работать снова и одновременно они не хотят работать в main task.

Dear all, I am developing a Web Socket Client in Codesys 3.5 using the Web Socket Client SL library to retrieve data from a third party. Connecting and reading works fine however after 40 seconds the connection gets interrupted by the server due to keepalive ping timeout. After discussion with third party it seems that the Web Socket Client SL library replys to the Ping request of the Web Socket server BUT does not add the "Application data" = 4 bytes in the body of the Pingframe to the Pongframe. Therefor the server does not recognize the Pongframe send by the Web Socket Client SL library and automatically disconnects. Is this a known issue with the libary or am I doing something wrong? Is there a workaround to add the 4 bytes manually to the Pongframe before replying it to the server? Thanks in advance, Roy

Hey, I'm pretty new to CoDeSys so I don't know a lot of things yet. I have to create a connection between two devices (CANbus - J1939 connection). The idea for now is to send a message from one to another (one operates on 3.5 SP11 the other one on 2.3) I watched a few videos, worked with the documentation and worked with chatGPT 4o and was able to build the attached file. This part is about the device on 3.5.11: I'm using the J1939LocalECUDiag, TransmitParameterGroup, TransmissionTrigger Function blocks to send the message but my TransmitPG.xBusy / .xDone never turns to True and therefore my message is not sent while TransmitPG.xExcecute is True. I added the two devices in the CANbus in the J1939Manager and addapted the options like I've seen in the documentation. Can anyone explain what's wrong with my code in this casse or give me advices how to properly create a connection between my two devices? Thanks in advance!

We make heavy use of internally developed libraries, which are often nested on multiple levels. I routinely work simultaneously on several libraries along with a project that use them. I make changes to a library and immediately perform a download (online or otherwise) in the project. For the longest time, we had zero issue with this. But starting a good while back, with 3.5 SP19 I think, CODESYS started not noticing library updates in other instances most of the time. When the update is missed, the project sees no need to update the code, and any download ignores the new code. A "Clean all" does not solve the issue. But if I close and then re-open the project, then the new version is noticed and the download works. The other solution is saving the library to the registry multiple times (say, 20-30 times, less if lucky), and then at some point the project notices the changed library. I am now on SP21, and it is still not fixed. This is driving me mad, any tasks probably takes me double the time or more due to this problem. My colleague has the same problem on a separate computer. Is this a known issue? Is there a setting somewhere that changes how updates are checked? Thanks for any help!
