hi there , can someone tell me how to deal with this error , please? I use the Linux ARM64SL (4.11) on a bullseye distro and when I want to update or install some package, I have the following reply : pi@NanoPi-R5C:~$ sudo apt upgrade Reading package lists... Try 'apt --fix-broken install' with no packages (or specify a solution). and if I try apt --fix-broken install as suggested, I have a proposal to uninstall codesyscontrol ... :-D so I tried to search if there is some Codesys repo: nothing, then I tried to see if ther was something inside Codesys dev (V3.5.20) and I only found that by reading/requesting my device, i spoted that codemeter was too old . I don't see how to deal with this issue. is there a codemeter.deb somewhere ? thanks in advance for any help.

Hi, since the latest update it seems the OnDialogClosed is not called anymore?? using CODESYS SP20 Patch 3 with CODESYS Visualization 4.6.0.0 I am using LoadWriteRecipe to load a recipe file from disk (with some custom dialog settings), and I need to run a function (Recipes_LoadFromRecipeData()) afterwards which I execute when OnDialogClosed is closed with OK button. This is from 10 years ago, I know. But I have been using (SLAVE_DEVICE.iChannelIndex = CHANNEL_NUMBER) AND (SLAVE_DEVICE.xDone) I suppose that it shows xDone for the channel that shows up in the iChannelIndex at the same cycle? It seems to be working properly for two devices that I have been using it before But now I have another device and using two write channels, for one register each. One channel works properly and returns DONE flag When another channel is triggered, I see that it shows up in iChannelIndex, but flag DONE not received, but no Error for the channel. Also, when i check the register in the device it's evident that data has been transferred. Is this could happen sometimes with CODESYS, so DONE flag not received? Or this is a problem with a given device? With this certain register

Thanks for the advise, indeed, this was somewhat, what my intention was. I tried around again with EDSes and DCFs, anyway. It appears that the DCFs end up in a subfolder in the attach device dialog. Astonishingly, when attaching the DCF version I get a device in the device tree, where I can add a SoftMotion axis, whereas when I attach the device not in the subfolder, then I cannot. Further astonishingly, when looking in the CANopen parameters in supported profiles, "402" is listed in the case of the DCF variant, whereas in the EDS variant "0" is shown. Comparing EDS and DCF files I cannot guess, where the difference is coming from. I cannot tell either why I have always attached the EDS variant and apparantly never the DCF variant. As I am not in the lab right now, I cannot test if the connection actually is working. Thanks again, spiessli

I have 2 Wago PFC200 PLC, running with Runtime SP19 Patch 5, with the Redundant application. The PLC communicates as Modbus Master with at this moment 15 Modbus Slaves -later there will be 28 in total- (Drives, Power management units,...). These devices are connected in 2 rings (1 ring of Drives, 1 ring of Power Management units), with 2 Managed Moxa Switches being part of the ring. Each PLC is connected to one of these switches. The issue I'm encountering is that the Cycle time of the Active PLC goes very high when I'm closing the Drive ring (simulating an issue on one Cabinet supply, resulting in that one Drive shut down, which can happen on field quite often). As a result of this long cycle, the PLC fails and goes to Exception, and the Passive PLC does not take control of the system. A normal cycle is around 30ms for the Main task, and a few ms for the Ethercat task. When I monitor with Profiler, I see that in this Maximum Cycle, the main Task is only taking 13ms, so I'm not sure where the PLC is hanging for so long. Is the remaining cycle time the Redundant management/sync or something else? Thank you in advance.

Hi, I'm trying to monitor a specific PGN which I have it sending a pulse every 500mS Problem: Using the Watchdog for the ECU does not really help me as I have multiple instances with separate PGNs, if a PGN goes ghost, the ECU watchdog won't be flagged as the others will be running. You are welcome. Also note, that it's valid only if you modbus-device use same real/float value representation (IEEE 754). That's true for most of systems. But some devices may have other representation, such as integer + position of the decimal point, for example 123.456 is integer = 123456 and position = 3 Also note, that, ones again, depending on endianess of each system, you may also need to swap not just words, but bytes. Dear Forum, I'm currently experimenting with Modbus interfaces in combination with a virtual controller. I have the following setup (Modbus_Setup.png): I have an IPC with Debian installed on it (Debian 13). On this Debian machine I have installed a docker server and on this docker server a Codesys runtime container is deployed (Codesys_image.png). The Modbus scanner makes connection with and IO coupler and this works well. But when I physically disconnect the ethernet connection between the IPC and the IO coupler the Modbus interface gets stuck in a state where it gets stuck in the busy state (Modbus_Stuck.png). When I plug the cable back in, the IO coupler isn't communicating until the xBusy variable is manually set to False, after this action is performed the communication goes back to normal. I have tried to set the container network to host and bridge (Network.png), but both version gives the same result (stuck scanner). I would expect that the Modbus interface is generating a timeout after 1 sec, because this is how it is setup (Modbus_settings.png), but this is not what happens. I have thought to write a piece of code that writes xBusy to false when it is stuck but because it is an output I'm not able to write to it. I have tried this with another PC (different CPU/motherboard) but this gives the same outcome. I tried updating to the latest version of Virtual control (4.20) but this gives the same result. I also tried to do the same thing with an ethernet IP scanner, and this gives an error after the timeout is expired (so this works well). I have tried to connect to the IO coupler using the Modbus_FB lib (Modbus_FB.png) the FB's are giving the correct errors and behaving as expected. At last I have tried to use a Scanner on a Codesys controller (no IPC) and here the scanner behaves as expected (an alarm is triggered after the timeout has been expired). The version of the Codesys components are listed in the picture Versions.png Is there anyone that can give me a push in the right direction? Kind regards Alex

Sorry for the question, but I'm not completely getting the idea here, could you be more specific, maybe give an example? I'm now in a state where I don't have a softcontainer on my license server anymore (even after reinstalling from the Codesys-IDE). I tried reaching the webserver of Codemeter but when I do that I get redirected to http://"IP":22352 This is not reachable, afterwards I installed lynx on my Debian machine (command line only). From here I could reach the webserver and toggle the network server setting, but unfortunately this did not help. I also tried to changed the remote read setting to 1 (in the Server.ini file). But after a Codemeter reboot this is overwritten to 0. I have the feeling that it should be much easier to get a license to work, am I missing some checkbox somewhere? Is there a tutorial (or manual) that explains the licensing sequence step by step, because I'm pretty stuck.

Also. Every third (or so) attempt to login/compile is unsuccessful with the error prompt "one or more errors occurred", however there is no information available on what this error might be. If I remove the PersistenceManager-module, these problems are not present.

I also installed your codesys version with the codesys for raspberry pi package version 4.7.0. but with no succes, only the TCA multiplexer has a constant green turning circle, the ADS1115 still changing from running to not running.

Which PLC do you use? If it is a standard CODESYS Runtime (from the store), then maybe update the device in your project to the latest version. If it is not a standard CODESYS Runtime, then maybe contact the supplier.

This solution did not give me peace of mind, so I decided to check other options again, especially since artifacts appear on some controls in WebVis. The solution is to enable the Multitouch handling option in the additional settings tab.
