Device: RPI 3b or 3B+ System: Wheezy Codesys: 3.5.16.2 I got the Log: 2023-12-13T00:38:43Z, 0x00000054, 2,6,11, !!!! Warning: Eventbuffer full for app=<app>Application</app>; an inputevent with the tag <tag>128</tag> has been dropped This log happens aroud 10 times a second. Sometimes the controller stopped working any more. What is the reason for this? I will update this controller soon (I hope so, but in the meantime I should at least know hoe to prevent this issue) Mario

Thank you so much. This worked. Waht im trying to do here is to automatically tag each sensors, valves and so on. There is a preatty nasty tag system i working on. "_320" is not alloved. I can have a tag "+4f=320.004-RT001V" In codesys I want to build the FB in folders. -4f | --320 | --001 This is the system structure. Inside here is all of the sensors and so on. But with Codesys, I cannot tag this like this. So what I'm trying to do now is to Make a folder for the building "4f" and one for the system "320", and a POU _001. Is there a way in init to get folder names?

Unfortunately , Data Source Manager from Codesys has any problem with OPC UA Server delivered with ifix SCADA. Someone can help me add manually any tag from UaExpert to codesys ? How should be was a structure for an example of one tag ? I try like in attachement, but question is , if it a good idea ?

I see, you want to initialize the FB. To be able to initialise it like you described, you need to add the FB_Init method to your FB. (right click on the FB, select add object --> method). Then press the arrow down, to select the FB_Init (overwrite default implementation). In the VAR_INPUT section of this method, add the variable --> Tag : STRING; Then in the code section of this method add: THIS^.Tag := Tag; // copy initial value to local variable in FB Search Google if you want to know more about FB_Init. PS, reflection + instance path, is also an option if you want to get the full name of the instance (path) of the Function Block. Using V19 Patch 7 and 4.11.0.0 for Pi 4 Model B, My problem is whenever I change a tag e.g bool from true to false it will change in software but the pin will only go high to low after pressing stop PLC in codesys and same if i want to bring it back to high, have to login start plc change it and stop plc in order to change. any insight ? thanks

I put together a pseudo-example to illustrate my use-case and was wondering if anyone in this forum can help. In structure i want to add a tag with systemnumber and sensorname. '320.001-RT401' In pou i use this RT401: NTC10k;, and tried this RT401: NTC10k(Tag:='RT401'); Anyone done this?

Guten Tag Zusammen, wie schon im Subject: Wenn man das Schreiben der Persistenten Daten nur auf Zyklisch 1 Stunde gestellt hat, kann es notwendig sein, das schreiben zusätzlich zu erwingen. Z.B. wenn man die Maschine gezielt abschalten will. Nur wie kann man das erreichen ??? Gruß Thomas

Hi Tim. Not quite correct. What i'd like, is when you place the FB in prog, i choose a block NTC10k, and name this RT401. What i'm trying to do, is to get the name RT401 automaticly into the FB, so i can put this into the string i pass in a struct. So in var in POU, i saw this a place i could do this, RT401: NTC10k(Tag:='RT401'), but i can't get this to work. I shurly must have had something like this in FB: FUNCTION_BLOCK NTC10k String TAG But it's here where I'm stuck...

Guten Tag, ich muss via CoDeSys 3.5 SP 19 P5 "sudo"-Befehle über die Funktion "SysProcessExecuteCommand2" ausführen. Befehle ohne sudo sind kein Problem, aber sobald in einer sh oder einem Einzelbefehl sudo benutzt wird, funktioniert das nicht. In der CODESYSControl.cfg ist unter "SysProcess" Command=AllowAll eingetragen. Trotzdem geht es nicht. Weiß jemand woran das liegen könnte? Gruß, Thomas

Hi, I have a "CODESYS Control Standard L" license and I use Ethercat and Profinet in my project. The project works seamlessly with two fieldbuses. However, when I add modbus_Com (Serial) or 1 OPC Tag to the project, the program throws an exception (Application app=Application has invalid license metrics!). My license should support 10*Modbus and 512 OPC Tags. Why might this problem occur?
