I've been using Codesys V3.5 SP16 to build a softPLC project, and I just purchased Control Win SL to get rid of the two-hour softPLC time limit of Control Win. I was not expecting the product to come with a download link for an updated version of Control Win (a .exe and package file). Do I need to install this to use the license? Will it just replace my current Control Win?
No matter what device I add under Profinet controller, I am completely unable to edit the I/O mappings. I'm trying to add a 8bit IN/32bit OUT generic device to a TBEN-L4-8IOL, but since this device doesn't exist already I can't edit the generic devices to add or remove IO fields.
