I know, that is not the issue though. The issue is the HMI_Blower_Auto_PB variable not changing to false. I do not have the IO modules plugged in yet, that is why there are NaN values for those variables. That should not affect this.

No, you can´t. I have only tried different browsers on my PC and then on my HMI device. Unfortunately the device´s browsers did not support pdf file as I needed so I had to switch to *.txt.

Hello, the problem was that the 4.6.0.0 Codesys control was not compatible with S versions of the RevPi controller because of the becuase of the Compute Module 4S. For those controllers, 4.8.0.0 version must be used.

Dear Forum, We are currently switching to a native Codesys controller, and I'm currently trying to determine the correct license. I have a question regarding the Modbus instances. With the Standard S license this is set to 4 (See picture). In our projects we are using a lot of communications to Modbus servers using a Codesys Controller, for this communication I'm using the ModbusFB library (supplied by 3S) (see picture). In my project I would like to use more than 4 instances of the ClientTCP FB. My question is, is this now capped at 4 possible connections with the standard S license. Or do these function blocks have a different relation with the license? Some clarity on this topic would be very welcome. Thank you in advance

Are you using the Control Win SL (installed together with the development environment of CODESYS)? If yes, you might want to consider using the CODESYS RTE instead. This has real-time capabilities (running on separate core(s)). But to be able to use this, you have to install the CODESYS Ethernet driver for your network interface to be able to let the RTE access the network port also in realtime. However, after installing the license, connecting, etc. (without any problems), we cannot get the program into the PLC with entries that we have not seen before. What I have realized that if I use for Label/Caption etc. string variable (%s) it is not included in translation list. But as soon as I use Frame configuration I lose all other properties but some very basics. I need to have still possibility to set Input configuration because my element is Button. I have not gotten to the bottom of this yet no. I have double check that the variables are correct linked. When online with the program I can see the button and rung going true for the move instruction, yet it does not change. Forcing the bit in the program does change the value in Groov View. I am kind of at a loss here, especially since the other POU(For the pumps) does the same thing fine.

I'm working on a low cost project and I'm considering installing the Codesys runtime on a PC running Linux Debian instead of buying a PLC with a pre-installed runtime. For my needs the Control Standard S license should be capable of running some IO over ethernet/ip, and a webvisu. The PC I am considering has a AMD GX-424CC 2.4GHz processor (4 core/4 thread) and 4GB RAM. This may compare to a raspberry pi4, but I know an X86 processor doesn't directly compare to an ARM processor, and a processor can have a high clock speed but other factors like L2/L3 cache can influence the overall performance. I can't find any published specs for the processor and RAM requirements to run the Codesys Control runtime, does anybody have a link to the minimum system requirements or experience using devices that are at or below the minimum system requirements. A raspberry pi with the control for raspberry pi SL runtime license would be the lowest cost option, but the license is not for commerical use. This restriction is somewhat vague, can anybody clarify if this means I can use a raspberry Pi runtime for in-house automation, what about if I am selling an integrated system that uses a raspberry Pi as a controller?
