Hello. Good morning. I have a same problem with short-segment G01 in GCode even in XY Axis. ( I'm using SMC_ReadNcFile2, SMC_NcInterpreter, SMC_CheckVelocities before IPO , watching Youtube tutorial video.. ) How did you solve this problem ?

Hello. in my experience, always click "Yes to all" to prevent error when go online. in this way, do you granted the infomation about hardware are the same, and dont lose " PLC configuration" for example.

It is either my installation is bad, or there is a bug. I re-created the project in 3.5 SP19 and there are no errors or warnings. Compiles with no errors or warnings. The original was done in 3.5 SP20. Thoughts?

Hi, which CODESYS IDE version are you using? I think it's fixed in >= SP19 patch 7, maybe also in SP19 patch 6, but I'm not sure.

The help says VAR_GENERIC exists, but trying to use it in 3.5.21.30 results in a unknown token error. https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20Development%20System/_cds_vartypes_var_generic_constant.html Did this feature get removed or is there something else that needs to be done to enable using generic function blocks?

Hi ducng, please make sure to call all Motion-FBs in the EtherCAT task. In your case, the PLC_PRG should be below the EtherCAT task, not the MainTask. Best regards, Georg

So in my case the solution was that I had both smooth path and round path in the code. Both blocks had their own buffer and seemed completely separate but still triggering Execute on both caused the mentioned problems. When I blocked Execute the problems disappeared.

I did some work around by adding IN switch on top of OUT bulb picture(SwitchImage) and setting IN switch button to invisible but this is not quite elegant. How to combine it to one visu element?

Is it possible to do non-formal invocation of function blocks in CODESYS? I get an error when I try, see the attached pic. Also attached a pic from IEC 61131-3 describing non-formal invocations.

No that is not possible for function blocks, although it is possible to that with methods and functions as you see in your second pic.
