CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi MC SL v4.4.0.0 CANopen_Manager 4.2.0.0 I did not call rm directly from my TASK-i2c, it was trough the attached python script. It is not always a problem happens, but sometimes a rm takes a long time. I reduced the amount of calls to logi2c.py but I don't understand why TASK-i2c sometimes can cause problems for TASK-CAN

I paid money for the RPi runtime because the Product Description says that GPIO is supported. It is also written in the Versions that since 4.11 RPi5 is supported. And I use 4.13. Nowhere is it mentioned that GPIO is still not supported... It's a pity that the Codesys developers still can't find a way to fix it. Are there plans for when it will be fixed or are the developers too weak? Just wondering, is there anyone with a working GPIO? Can you share the details of your system?

However, if faulty EtherCAT cables were the issue, why wouldn't the error occur during normal operation? Why would bad cables only cause problems during a hard shutdown? I don't have the answer to this question. One last question: When you encountered this behavior, did you see a similar error in your logs? i.e, an "AccessViolation" exception in the EtherCAT Task Yes. It was the exeption you can see in attached file.

Hello, I have a Exor HMI with 2 seperatred ETH interface's. It is Configured as PN Master on ETH interface 1 and the IO's are working, as long as the development PC is connected to the ETH 0 interface. When the PC is disconnected, the PN communication drops and a reconnection is started. I installed the newest device description for Codesys and Firmware for the Panel. The IO Gateway is from Weidmueller What could cause the Problem?

Hallo Zusammen, ich versuche die Bibliothek FloatingPointUtils.compiled-library-v3 zu benutzen. leider kommt dabei folgende Fehlermeldung: Kein Quellcode für dieses Objekt... (siehe Anhang) Wie kann ich diese Bib einbinden? Kann ich diese irgendwo herunterladen? Mein Ziel ist es ein DWORD (float) in ein REAL umzuwandeln. Hi everyone, I am working on a 3 axes Cartesian robot. I take control of all the axes. In the Ethercat connection, the drive sequence is the same as in the program. For example, in the current program the order is as follows. 1. Axis_Z 2. Axis_X 3. Axis_Y Communication Diagram PLC->Drive_Z->Drive_X->Drive_Y When I try to change the order in the program while keeping the communication diagram the same, there is an axis drive mismatch. How can I fix this?

Any reason the ADS1115 wouldnt work with SP20.1 and Runtime 10.0.0.0 on the Raspberry Pi . Using Bullseye or Buster i run into the same issue: Libary and integration works in general as described above BUT i am seeing "bleeding" between the analog inputs . Specifically consecutive ones: So sometimes the raw from AI1 shows on AI2, AI2 on AI3, .. AI4 on AI1. Even with filtering i cant smoothen that out properly and i feel like something is wrong. Almost like the bus is stumbling over itself, or the request from Codesys to the device.

Hi, please check if "Support client animations and overlay of native elements" option is enabled. This option is very heavy to manage for the Webclients. I'm using the Pixsys srl "TC series" HMI with the code "P3" (so a 4+4 cores CPU) that runs very well also with this option active. The same CPU is mounted also in their WebPanel "WP" series, so you can try one of them if you want.

I am configuring a Lenovo M900 computer with CODESYS Control RTE SL 3.5.20.30. I use an Aoc E2272pwut LED 21.5 monitor. The touchscreen works perfectly in the Windows 10 PRO environment but does not work in the WebVisualization environment (Window opened at PLC startup). Does anyone know if it is necessary to configure any drivers in Win RTE? I am at your disposal for any questions. Thank you.

I have an IIoT License activated on a PFC200 with older firmware 2.08.32 (11). If I flash it to the latest available 4.05.10 (27) does the license get destroyed? I have a back up file '3SLicenseInfo.tar'. But this looks quite a bit different form the backup I got from more modern firmware... 'CMLicenseNew.WibuCmRaU'. Can the new license manager restore it from the old .tar?

Hi All, Recently I have been experiencing a issue in CodeSys SP16 Patch 3, with a exception which comes up after I have made several online changes. callcallback() iec exception caught cmpid=0x00000002, eventid=0x00010008, after I experience this fault then I receive a error message for any subsequent online change "online change failed, no task gap within 10000ms". To recover either the controller needs a orgin reset, which will allow online edits thereafter until falling back into the loop. I am using a TURCK TX707 product which is controlling robot trajectory, We have hard coded the coordinate data rather than using persistence variables so hence the need to do online changes consistently. I have read on the forum other people have experienced similar issue with the online task gap, but I have no task which have same priority and also monitored the CPU usage and have not seen it go above 13%. Anyones help would be much appreciated, thankyou.

Hi, I have several problems with the git extension. Situation: I am working with Codesys v3.5 SP19 Patch 1 and Git V1.2.1.0. The remote repository is GitLab Community Edition v16.1.2. I am working on a project with one other person. Problems: 1: After each start of Codesys all of the visu pages are marked as modified. So we have to discard all changes first. Otherwise the history is not clean and the merge request becomes more complex. I tested it with a new project and only local. I made the observation, that a page is not marked as modified when it is committed a second time (after a restart of codesys). But this is necessary after every change of a page. However, since we are working in a team, it seems we are playing ping-pong and so all pages are marked as modified on each startup. 2: Each image pool causes a parent child conflict. Also in my local project. The only solution that I have found, is to ignore the issue. Does anyone have the same problems? I think it looks more like bugs. Thanks ewi04

The CODESYS key is passed as a USB defice to the VM. I wonder why there are different statements regarding the suitability in virtual machines and if the jitter would be reduced by installing CODESYS runtime on the host installing CDS runtime on the host and using a preemptive kernel (if available for the PROXMOX installation leaving CDS runtime where it is (on the virtualized debian machine) and install a preemptive kernel on the host and on the guest... Hi I am trying use the Codesys Communication Manager to set up an Opc ua server with a custom information model. As a start I am using the Boiler model available on Opc foundations github page. I am testing with a Wago CC100 and using Codesys V3.5 SP19 Patch 6. I get the following error: Communication Manager [Device: PLC Logic: Application]: The information model http://opcfoundation.org/UA/ is required by http://opcfoundation.org/UA/Boiler/ with a minimal publication date from 15/12/2023 but the device has only a model from 15/09/2021 installed. Probably the information model from 15/09/2021 is missing in the information model repository. The error message does not make sense to me. Should it not be “Probably the information model from 15/12/2023 is missing in the information model repository”? Anyway, both versions are available in the repository. How can I solve this?

Hi Dave. Thanks for your answer. I still struggling with this. I have done everything according with the Codesys help even I have looked in detail at the example. I have double checked the recipe manager configuration and the use of all the methods. There are two methods that do not work as expected. I'm using Codesys 3.5.19.20 and recipe management 4.4.0.0 .CreateRecipe just create a recipe in the recipe definition but do not create the file. This have a walk around just giving a .ReadAndSaveRecipe afterwards. .ReloadRecipes do nothing but do not generate any error as well. After calling it I call the .GetRecipeCount and the number is always 0. When I create a new recipe (using the function block methods) then the number changes. Looks like this method is looking to the wrong directory finding nothing. I don't know if there is a missing configuration in the CODESYSControl.cfg file. I'm thinking in a walk around for this but I need to create a strings array with the recipe names as retentive and making all the management when deleting and adding recipes. Have had some one the same problem?

I am currently working on a project using CODESYS and Control Win on a Windows computer. I've encountered an issue where I am unable to save a CSV file. I have followed the standard procedures and used the appropriate file handling functions, but the file is not being created or saved as expected. Hallo zusammen, hi all, ich habe den gleichen Fehler. Auf einem Raspberry Pi geht der Fehler weg, wenn ich alles bereinige und dann vollständig übersetze. Wenn das Projekt im Codesys Development System wieder neu geladen wird ist der Fehler aber wieder da. Mit eine Win V3 x64 PLC kann ich den Fehler nur unterbinden wenn ich auf der HMI das VUM_Login einbinde. Dieses brauche ich aber nicht, da ich die HMI für das User Management selbst gestaltet habe. Das funktioniert auch. I have the same error. On a Raspberry Pi the error goes away if I clean everything and then compile completely. When the project is reloaded in the Codesys Development System, the error returns. With a Win V3 x64 PLC I can only prevent the error if I integrate the VUM_Login on the HMI. But I don't need this because I designed the HMI for user management myself. That works too. Anyone have an idea to fix this problem. Many thanks

Just realized that it is the /dev/input/js0 file. Don't think this is a prob either. Found the ConfigFile. Hi, Learning Codesys CNC, and I am confused by the dwIpoTime parameter. I have a basic demo application, using SMC_Interpolator feeding into SMC_TRAFO_Gantry2Tool2, which then sets the position of the x/y SM_Drive_Virtual axis. I also have a C axis which revolves the tool, which is controlled using a simple tangential angle calculation SMC_CalcDirectionFromVector. The GCode I'm using has feed/accel set at 500. The axis configuration limits are well above that (2000). What's strange is that, when I run the simulation, the feed speed changes drastically when I update the variable dwIpoTime. The larger the number, the faster it moves. What's going on here? The documentation only says "This variable has to be set for each call. It represents the cycle time in μsec." Why does it change the feed speed I'm seeing the in simulation? What is a good number to use? The example I was looking at set it at 5000. Screenshot attached.
