i have a problem with Profinet on my project. I'm using Codesys RTE 3.5.19.50. When i download program to controller the ethernet is ok, PN_Controller is ok but every device i'm trying to connect is red with error "DCP no RealStationName". When i'm trying to Scan for Devices on PN_Controller there are no devices found. I have installed Codesys driver CmpEt1000Drv to my network adapter (i'm sure it is right intel pro 1000 model). I have noticed that when i installed codesys driver i'm no longer able to ping this network adapter (i can ping it when intel driver is installed). On my previous projects with runetimes i can ping it even with codesys driver installed. I have also tried to do downgrade of everything to version 3.5.19.20 and it not helped.

Hi All. Is it possible to use CODESYS KNX SL on stock Wago firmware (Codesys version, not e!Cockpit). I have Wago 750-8212 with firmware 0.4.04.03(26). When I tried to run 'KNX SL' or even 'Device Reader', I have got [FATAL ERROR] Unresolved reference: 'CODEMGETCONTENTBYFIRMCODE3' [FATAL ERROR] Unresolved reference: 'CODEMGETCONTENTBYFIRMCODE2' [FATAL ERROR] Unresolved reference: 'CODEMGETCONTENTBYFIRMCODE2' What probbalby means that there is no running CodeMeter component on PLC. Hi TK_Jenssen did you found a solution I am setting up the samelike gantry only with two z-axes which are mounted on fix position with an X axes between the two z-axes. The movement and position of both z-axes must be very well aligned and calibrated. Maybe also to be adjusted by programming. Can you sent an example of your solution?

Hello good morning everyone I would like to ask a question, is it possible to directly connect a device that only contains modbus RTU communication through an R-45 connector, directly to the PC? Or would you need an intermediate device to achieve communication? It would be of great help to me because I cannot achieve communication between the Codesys simulator plc and a Fuji Frenic mini VFD, please help me if anyone has had the same experience. I can't recall how I solved it and whether it was a problem with my codesys installation or the project itself. If it is the codesys installation, make sure all your required libraries and plugins are installed and available. compare with a colleagues installation if possible. I vaguely recall saving a copy of my project and deleting things one by one until the error went away...

Hello? I have a problem with datasource... I am trying to connect to a OPCUA server. I create a datasource, but I can not login into it. I need to use login credentials to login... Everything works fine in UAExpert, but in codesys I cant seem to get in properly using the login credentials... I have tried to configure the datasource initializer but seem to keep failing... Do I need to call it somewhere ? Will the find endpoints work with this configured to store my password ? !

Hi all, is it possible to use object instances that are not instantiated by codesys itself, e.g. have been defined in UA-Modeler ? When I browse the plc with UA-Expert I see those instances, but I have not seen information in codesys or the web if these are writable in codesys. So far, I am under the impression, that it is not possible, but would like to hear from others. Also, is it correct, that it is not possible to create references inside codesys ? This stems from if I turn on everything, SA stops reporting issues in the message log when the list gets over 600ish issues. Once we have done an initial clean up of code this wont be an issue, but I'm trying to get a baseline to track improvement.

Hello everyone Since I have installed Codesys 3.5.20sp2 I cannot get the profinet features working again. Now I get RPC Blocked during device scan (see attached file) and when online I get RPC-call error (see attached file). I run Codesys on the last version of Windows 11, Profinet ports have been added to Firewall rules, and even with disabled Firewall I get same result I really never seen that before Same result using another PC I already spent 2 days to find the issu without any success, I would appreciate some help, thank you! When you say it does not work, does nothing happen or do you get an error? I have not used this function in codesys but from my past experience with Modbus I believe the coils need to be contiguous, which may be why yours is failing? Have you tried using Write Registers (16) to do the job? Or is their data in-between you do not want to edit in the transaction?

Hello, I am struggling with Edge gateway to the automation server. It is not possible to establish the link. When I create the Edge in codesys and get it to Automation server, it is red, unable to connect. Scan fails. RPi 4B Runtime 4.13.0.0 Edge gateway 4.13.0.0 Codesys 3.5.2.40 Any idea what to chase? I have been using previous versions of edge gateway. Now I updated all to latest versions, failed. Frustrating.

I try the build option when opening the project but still get loads of placeholder,library and some random errors i'm not to sure about. have tied project Archive, which is better, but not perfect. INIT, OP, PREOP, etc.. ) I was trying to use the GetDeviceDiagnosisInfo method from the IoConfig_Globals, but there is no info available on the Web with a simple example; does someone have a link to some tutorial or anything else ? Hi all I'm having a little trouble get my axis to work. i can turn them off and on. i can run each servo manually inputting directly to the mapping address. as soon as i try to use any FB's like jog etc my servos wont move and error out. so far I've had error "SMC_ERROR.SMC_DI-POSITIONLAGERROR" and another one about not calling a fb. cheers. in the attachment I have just jogged X_Axis with the MC_JOG FB

I need to be able to update (change) the interface of an IO-Link device at runtime. The reason is the connected sensor can be selected at runtime, and some sensors we use have a 2 byte IN interface, others have a 4 byte IN interface, others 16 byte IN, others 16 byte IN/OUT (see attached screenshot). Is it possible at all? When yes, which function should I use? Thank you!

Hi Trying to send csv file to c:\data\xxx.csv Im able to save to plclogic and after doing this https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Runtime/thread/5cac1390b4/ i can now "file transfer" to host pc downloads. but still cant transfer to c:\ im sure i have done this in the past with older versions of the 3.5 ide? just concat the file name as c:\data\My_Filename.csv. any ideas? cheers
