Hi There, I took over a project from a colleague (in GTB) who left the company. When I took over his project, it wouldn't compile because some libraries were missing. I managed to recover quite a few libraries, but I can't find the library that contains the block functions shown in the image. Here are a few examples: Fb_RegMel_ISO Fb_DefModbus FbDecalConsSalSO Fb_Autor_FreeCool_CTA_C I'm a little stuck at the moment, so if you see a Facebook post that speaks to you, don't hesitate to get in touch! Hello, Please give any tips regarding stopping Mc_GearInPos block. Please look at attached drawings. When fb MC_GearInPos is started, output "busy" is true - it is ok. But when i want to stop this funkction blok i deactive execute input and i use Mc_stop. Unfortunelly Mc_gearInPos is still busy. It lasts till to synchronize phase. Then i can stop it by Mc_stop. So I cannot stop fb before synchrnization. Can you give any tips how solve this problem. Sometimes I must to switch off before synchro. Best regards Lukasz

I got the shared memory example. I'm pretty sure I'm successfully created a memory space, CreateResult returns 18. szName:='CodesysDataShare'; hShm := SysSharedMemoryCreate(szName, 0, ADR(uxiSize), ADR(CreateResult)); I'm trying to access this memory with a C# application, but I get "Unable to Find Specified File". I suspect that Codesys and/or Visual Studio code alters the name I choose? Hi, thank you for replying. Basically, I have a main visu with frame selection. So, under some condition the frame will switch to a specific frame. It used to be controlled by variable using "Switch frame variable". However, I realise it will change all the HMI screen at one time. So I removed the variable, and still looking for a solution to do that. Do you have any idea?

Okey, thank you! Do you think it is something in this library, that makes it possible to do the configuration in a PRG? https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/IODrvEtherCATDriver/Current/IoDrvEtherCAT.html#id1 I think the codesys modbus libraries support configuration and connection to modbus slaves without having to add the slave devices in the device tree. Just do it from function blocks inside the program. I was hoping for something similar with EtherCAT.

I've had issues getting the raspistepper installed, all due to errors upon installation. The closest I get is the pictured error. The functions are in the sm3_shared library. I can add this library but that leaves 2 issues. I don't actually know, and I really want to understand this, why the required dependencies haven't been installed correctly. If I add the library it's only available with through the namespace. What can I do to both understand and resolve this? Hello Everyone. I have a question about the SVN module on Codesys. I am using Codesys V3.5.10 and installed Codesys SVN 4.2.5.1 but when i try to connect my SVN to codesys i have a message saying that there is no license for accessing the Url. I searched on the codesys store and it seems that "CODESYS Professional Developer Edition" is needed? Am i right? Do i also need to buy a USB key? Is there another edition but only for the SVN? Hello, I'm asking for help with installing the license server for Linux SL 4.18.0.0. When I try to install it, I get a message that the WIBUCodeMeter package is missing. I checked the package manager tab to see if the package is installed, and it is - Codemeter 8.40.7120.501. I've checked the CodeMeter Runtime on the target machine, and everything seems to be working fine. One thing caught my eye: the Device Architecture tab says "None" Please help me solve this problem.

Though - from within my coding heart it does bother me deeply, that I cannot get further understanging/knowledge on the iPhasingState, but I guees I will have to swollow that bitter pill and get on with it! hehe ;-)

Didn't help. I'm just trying to understand why the errors occur. Are they from the poor driver or from the Linux network stack. That's why I wanted to know how the rxerros and lostframes are counted. Because in other places (like ethtool info) there are no any issues. And the Ethercat device works fine. And it also strange that on the second ethernet port with a different HW and driver Ethercat works better, but still time to time gets such errors.

Please explain how you configured that. Normaly, the Server should answer to all UID as long as gateway isn't activated. With activated gateway all UID will be forwarded to Serial-Interface, in taht case 255 has to be used for Gateway-Diagnostics. So that means, there is somethink wrong on your configuration. Which CDS-Version, Which Runtime-Version and so on are used.

Hello everyone, I am building a 3-axis packaging machine. First, I created a virtual axis and connected the knife to the virtual axis using a CAM. I also linked the conveyor system to the virtual axis with GearIn. However, I’m facing the following issue: when I use SUPERIMPOSED to change the conveyor’s motion, I get a COMMAND ABORTED error. The exact error is: SMC_ERROR.SMC_FB_WASNT_CALLED_DURING_MOTION. Why am I getting this error?

I have a XY chart in a visualization that is working fine, all lines are presented correctly. When I present the XY chart visualization in a frame, it seemes as no values are recorded, all lines are zero. When i open the visualization containing the XY chart in e!cockpit i see the lines are presented correctly but still not in the frame. Any ideas?

Hi, same pb for me ! did you find a solution ? (I'm working on 2 raspberry pi ) The same project compiled for 4.8.0.0 runtime with CodeSys 3.5SP20 is working fine on one target, and on the other one, my UAexpert receives the same "BadIdentityTokenInvalid" and none is working on 4.11.0.0 either ... anybody ?

I dont know exactly why this error happens, but I think its because you have some wrong whiles. Because when i had that problem it was because I accidently wrote while true then and it was stuck in the loop.

Hi all. Codesys 3.5.19, patch 3. After installing raspberry 4.10 package I can see raspberry device, but can't see update raspberry pi tool. In custimsation->tools I found: Unknown command (8ec1a...) [plugin unavailable] Unknown command (7216f...) [plugin unavailable] Codesys installed in default directory. I reinstalled Codesys, thats not help.

Okay i will try. I tried already the different settings. The CodeSys version i use, is CodeSys 3.5 SP20 Patch 3. The device which i use is CodeSys Control For Raspberry PI 64 SL version 4.13.0.0. The wiring should be okay because i'm using the Edatec ED-CM4IND-1432-4C(EU).

After many tests i see that problem comes when serial communication established for modbus rtu. If the slave device not connected we don't see the exception. If the slave device connected at serial port then we have exception about 1 hour after startup and every 10 or 15 minutes. Any suggestion?

I don't have a multiplexer so it very weird that it connects with that multiplexer. If i do a I2C scan on the PI terminal, i only get the device addresses 0x48 and 0x51. One for the ADC and one for RTC. I will try again with your libraries

Nope! The file path is $$PlcLogic$$ and NOT $$PLCLogic$$. Otherwise a new folder ('PLCLogic') is created (at least with a linux rt - like raspberry or compute module) with the new file in it if you open the file with eFileMode := FILE.MODE.MRDWR. That is a bad bug that I'll report right after this comment.

Yes, either adding in the CODESYSContro_User.cfg because the driver will no longer appear in the list or type the name from the documentation in the configuration and when the gray check mark appears, the driver is also installed. It is just not selectable anymore.
