Just a stab in the dark, but you might want to check the Dynamic Limits (accel, decel, velocity, jerk) in the Codesys SoftMotion device configuration, as well as checking similar limits on your servo drive? Are you seeing any errors, or does the MC_SetPosition FB get marked as complete?

Yes, either adding in the CODESYSContro_User.cfg because the driver will no longer appear in the list or type the name from the documentation in the configuration and when the gray check mark appears, the driver is also installed. It is just not selectable anymore.

I had similar issues with the OnDialogClosed not being called. I realized that this behaviour is resolved, when the according visualization object on which the input configuration is set is moved to the foreground. Somehow, the object has to be one of the lowest elements in the Element List (i.e. in the foreground) for it to work.

Yup, I've been having the exact same issue. A workaround that was working until Visu 4.8.0.0 was using TextList as the type in the frame configuration and then wrapping the text in quotes when configuring it. Im not sure if it will work with variables and I know it does not work if the type is text.

Ok, this is how I made a numeric text field: use a Text Field properties -> Texts -> Text := %f (or %d or whatever you need) properties -> Text variables -> Text variable := (your numeric variable) properties -> Input configuration -> OnMouseDown -> Configure: Write Variable Input type := VisuDialogs.Numpad Use another variable (your numeric variable) Min val Max val etc. Please tell me there is an easier way to do this.

I'm Having the same issue. If I highlight PLC Logic and import it erases everything else and replaces the Task config. If I highlight the Application I get the same result. Simple manual fix is click and drag the task config onto the origional Application, and delete the second one. Easy fix but not the expected result of importing task config.

U can view it at devicetree in the node-element diagnostic from modbus-configuration. u also can activate the function auto-reconnect in master and increase a little bit the timeout and the repetition to male thw communication a little bit more robust

Hi, we did install the real-time kernel patch on the RPI and also performed the additional optimizations including isolating the cores. Changing the configuration of the planning task e.g. running it on a separate core, changing the cycle times and mode from cyclic to freewheeling did not show any improvements.

Interested. I can see the EL6633 Profinet Controller can be added in Codesys to the EK1914 or EK1100, and then ProfiSafe devices can be added as the F-DI8/F-DQ3 ET200eco PN. Im unsure how to configure the telegram to the EL6910. Have you been able to make this configuration? EL6910 Manual shows a way but only using TwinSafe.

Hi blitz, that usually means that the modulo period, when converted to increments, is larger than 2^31. (The bus bandwidth is usually 2^32.) What is your "technical unit", do you program in angular degrees? And what is the modulo period? Hallo, kann mir jemand was zu dieser Fehlermeldung sagen: Mitteilung vom Gerät: “Alarm online change executed but license for Online Configuration Change not aviable!” Habe erst letzte Woche noch auf dieser Steuerung (PFC300, FW30) eine Programmänderung gemacht und hat alles funktioniert. Die Meldung kommt am Schluss, wenn ich einen Online change gemacht habe. Dann geht die Steuerung mit Ausnahmefehler auf Stop.

your case looks different, the first one was an codesys modbus tcp-slave, your's an Master-Application with gateway. I dont know this Unit, but i would say, from Point of Codesys it looks wrong configured. Just give us more detailed configuration and the please make a sketch of the topology you're trying to realise.

Many issues with the alarmmanager and alarmstorage can be solved by deleting the configuration, rebooting, and redownloading. I've found that the configurator doesn't always update when you make chanegs. For linux installations it is typically located in /var/opt/codesys/PlcLogic/alarms/ look for file Application.AlarmConfiguration.xml cd /var/opt/codesys/PlcLogic sudo rm -r alarms sudo reboot

I had this code working in a previous version of CoDeSys to read variables from a GVL that were added to the Symbol configuration. The problem now is that when I get the _IBaseTreeNode_Parent, it returns a valid interface, but none of the methods or properties work. If you monitor the _IBaseTreeNode in the watch window, it does show the correct child count. However, it fails at step 30, where the child count incorrectly returns zero. However, I would like to implement the same functionality over USB (or Serial via USB) instead of Ethernet. My goals are: Change the device’s Ethernet IP address via USB Download/update the PLC application via USB communication Possibly use USB as a service/programming interface The hardware platform is based on STM32H series, and I am looking for guidance on: Whether CODESYS supports USB device communication for runtime download If a custom USB CDC (Virtual COM Port) implementation is required Whether a specific CODESYS runtime configuration is needed If a bootloader approach is recommended for application updates via USB If anyone has experience implementing USB communication for runtime download or device configuration on an STM32-based PLC, I would really appreciate your guidance. But, it seems that are occurring some memory leak problem in a "high" frequency (more than 10 Hz) subscribe process. I follow the same method as in IoT Lib exemples, and at first looks perfect but my PLC was rebooting frequently and when I check its memory usage that was increasing as fast as the subscribe massage was sent. I'm using a WEG PLC410 and a WEG PLC500, and this error occurred in both of them (including in CODESYS Control Win x64). The application sends to the system a message JSON with the float payload Ex. {"data" : 0.8500}, but this happens with a INT, or BOL as well.
