Hello, For my delta robot i wil use the MC_MoveCirvularAbslolute function. Every time that i set the execute of this function has my Axis group a error. Thats is: The dynamic limits for the movement are invalid. What can i do that this error go away? I saw a view funcitons with limit dymanics but i don't now how they work. If i use the function MC_MoveLinearAbsolute than i have no error. Does anyone know how i fix this?

I found a way to do it: You can use, for example, the text variable property of any visualization element and call a function in it. Example: Write a test POU as a function (FUN), like MyTestFun which need a boolean Variable as an input value. Now write into the text variable property: MyTestFun(bBooleanValue) Thats it. The function is called at each visu_task cycle.

The machine I'm currently using (Celeron J1900) already has the Kernel RT patch. I checked the performance according to the documentation. After running CyclicTest for 4 cores, the value for each core is around 6-7. I went through the entire process according to the documentation (I envy the TaskMonitor results in the documentation). The documentation states: "CODESYS Virtual Safe Time Provider The CODESYS Virtual Safe Time Provider is a standard interface that the user can use to transfer a second and external time base to the CODESYS Virtual Safe Control. The implementation is done as a client, which must run on another system with an independent time base." How do I implement this? I've been struggling for two weeks now - I'm too old to give up.

Old thread, I know - but it still has good answers. I would like to add a bit of info to it, as I was having a problem that lead me to this thread, but didn't give an exact answer. I am porting a project to a different PLC architecture. (Wago PFC300) A GVL named 'GVL' in the POUs section of my project was shadowed by a PLC-specific library in the Application->Library Manager. So all the existing references in the device specific code to 'GVL.something' would not resolve. Right-clicking the GVL in the code and 'Go to definition' would point me to the library in the Application Library Manager. All I had to do from there, was right-click the library, and set the property 'Only allow qualified access to all identifiers' in the library.

Hi everybody, recently I was checking how many time consuming manual tasks I can perform with python scripts through ScriptEngine. I have in the project many devices and currently I export bootprojects for them by right clicking on Application, then go Export -> Bootproject and firmware (SD Card) and then point folder where files should be exported. It's fine if project has few devices, but I have some of them with over 30 devices and manual clicking like that is very time consuming. How can I do it with python script? So far I found "create_boot_application" method from Application object (taken by projects.primary.find('Application', True)) but it only generates .app and .crc file instead of full structure to store on SD card (FIRMWARE, USERDATA, SDCARD.INI, Version, Version.txt.sig). Should I use some method to control user interface? Best regards, Adam

I don't seem to be able to use an axis, which is part of an Axis Group in torque control mode. I call the SMC_SetControllerMode FB to switch from position to torque control mode, followed by the SMC_SetTorque FB to set the desired torque. This works flawlessly for most axes, however if an axis is part of an axis group, switching the controller mode seems to work without any issues, but the desired torque is never set. SMC_SetTorque does not return an error, but fSetTorque of the axis is never changed. Disabling the axis group before does not change anything, but if I use MC_UngroupAllAxes before changing the controller mode, it all works as it should. Is there no way to control a single axis in torque control, if it is part of an axis group?

Reading the file "codesyscontrol.log" I see these logs OPC UA Server Started: Hostname: NTLRPICTRL01, Port: 4840 URL: opc.tcp://NTLRPICTRL01:4840 Loopbackadapter activated. **All available networkadapters are used.** Multithreading activated. 3 workers used. My controller, which is a Linux PC, has got two network cards eth0 and eth1 I whant to use the card with name "eth0" as a server for OPCUA and keep the "eth1" free for other stuffs. Is it possible ? Hi manuknecht, the axis group currently always writes the axis set torque values. If no dynamic model has been configured for the axis group, then the set torques are written to 0. The solution for your use case is to call SMC_GroupUpdate [0] before you call SMC_SetTorque on the axes. This way, the axis group will write 0 to the set torques in the call to SMC_GroupUpdate(), and SMC_SetTorque then will write the desired set torque. Build: CODESYS 3.5 SP19 Patch 1 (64-bit) Host OS: Windows 10 Target: Linux SL I have a project with programs in Structured Text and Ladder Diagram. When I try to use the Find function, it works for the Active Editor; however, when I try to use Find for the Entire Project, I get the error "Object reference not set to the instance of an object." I know what this error means in the context of the program, but I have no idea why the find function is returning this error. The variable I am searching does not matter: it happens with all variables. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. I generally use the Find function quite often as I am developing and not having it is really slowing me down.

Hi! Do anybody know how I can add and enable the parameter 'Default Modbus TCP slave' on a device? I am currently writing a program where the PLC shall be set up as a Modbus TCP client, but I dont know how to add parameters to devices in codesys. I'm pretty new to the codesys environment. The picture in the attachment is on a similar PLC project where I have not written the code. my goal is to add this parameter in another project.

The Bus Cycle Task of the AXL F 2152 is set to Main Task and the "Always update Variable" is Enabled on each IO Module. My Main Task interval is set to 100ms and Priority is set to 0. I have tried other options and none seem to work. Your response to this issue will be highly appreciated.

Hello, I’m developing a program and for some reason I got this error: C0193: Name '2,Recipe #2GVL' is no valid identifier I was creating a combo box and creating a TextList for my recipe. I couldn't find where the error was, until in the combo box properties in the 'Text List' property in the options it gives me to select, I found '2,Recipe #2' to be able to select (I never created a list with this name) and I can't find a way to delete that option or I can't find where that list is. I tried to delete the TextLists, delete the combo box, to clean the project, but the error still there. How can I delete this option (2,Recipe #2)? Or how can I fix this error?** Thank you.
