Guten Morgen, ich habe ein Problem mit dem Lesen von IO Link Geräten. Wir nutzen einen Festo IO-Link Master den ich mittels der Funktionen ETC_ADS_IoLinkRead und ETC_ADS_IoLinkWrite lesen und schreiben möchte. Dazu implementiere ich die Bibliothek EtherCATStackLibrary 4.6.1.0. Hier geht schon das erste Problem los. Diese Bibltiothek möchte eine weitere Bibliothek nutzen, die "CmpSysEthernet". Diese muss ich über die Platzhalter manuell auf "SysEthernet 3.5.19.0" linken. Dann sind erstmal keine Fehler mehr vorhanden und das Projekt lässt sich übersetzen. Beim oder vor dem laden in die (Eckelmann) Steuerung, bekomme ich dann aber Fehler über unaufgelöste Referenzen, über Funktionen aus der SysEthernet Bibliothek (siehe Screenshot). Hat da jemand eine Idee oder Lösung?

This is a phenomenon that I have seen myself and with others. Texas instruments wrote an application note with this same issue. They noted with Codesys 3.5.19.10, that selecting CPU 1 as the EtherCAT task showed CPU spiking improvements over the performance of cores 0, 2, and 3. It appears to be linked to EtherCAT, are you configuring for use with distributed clocks? If so, I recommend choosing the 'Based on Input Reference' option. Hi, thanks for the link. Maybe I create elements in incorrect way. I always use Interface Editor to create variables which are used inside element (see pics). After that I place element in my visu and use Reference property to link variable or set the value. In that case the value of string is not transferred to general text list for translation as I mentioned before. Do I have to all properties which influence behavior of my element create in Frame configuration instead? What´s the difference to the Interface editor? Thanks a lot. M.

I am trying to show a PDF in a WebBrowser element. I have the file saved to the drive of the HMI/PLC. I am linking it in the URL parameter of the WebBrowser using the following directory link. 'http://localhost:8080/$$sdcard$$/FileName.pdf'. This allows for the program to download without any errors. When I navigate to that screen it is just a white box and nothing shows. I attempted putting the same link in the show parameter and I get a loading icon on my cursor when monitoring the HMI with my PC. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I have code written since version 3.5.16 to access the USB drive, how can I do that now the file access has been taken away? I have tried adding a sybolic link to the usb drive in the following directories: /var/opt/codesys/PlcLogic/ /var/opt/CODESYS/PlcLogic/ /opt/CODESYS/PlcLogic/ I still recieve a "FILE_OPERATION_DENIED" response when accessing the USB drive.

Can you provide some infos on what you did? What model is your camera and which protocols does it support? Is there a direct link to the feed? Does your camera prevent embedding of the feed (this was my issue.)? I had to use additional software (go2rtc) to be able to stream the feed from an ABUS TVIP48511...

Hello jacobwago, I believe that the limit is fixed in the editor, but not in the driver package. There seems to be no link between the driver setting and the editor. Otherwise, I don't know why the input (>10) is blocked, but the function is available. Unfortunately, I cannot offer you any other solution apart from the one mentioned above. Kind regards

Answering to myself: is not possible according to the IFM support, this possibility has not been taken into account, although the interfaces and FBs in Codesys would apparently support it. So I ended up having to deactivate the sensor validation and the backup & restore functionality in the master and implement it in the PLC myself.

OK, I figured out that I can simply define all the sensors as 16 bytes IN/OUT, even if they are not all used. EDIT: The negative effect is that each bit is taken into account as an I/O for the license, even if not used.

Try changing the port mode to digital input for each port you want to have 2 inputs in the connection settings for the device. I've successfully used ports for inputs on an AL1920 this way, I think the procedure should be the same for an AL1332.

Hello, Depends on the architecture of your PLC. If the PLC is a PC-based item with a normal desktop environment, then you probably can. I find it simpler to install an IIoT Router in the panel, and use an encripted VPN to link to my office PC / Laptop on demand.
