Good day, I am attempting to use a Waveshare AD/DA precision HAT with RPi 4B+, using Codesys Control for Rpi. The waveshare hat uses SPI. I am successfully using the RPi GPIO (inputs and outputs) but do not know how to access the AD/DA channels. Any help would be appreciated.

Let's say another ENUM is available in your project or in another library which has an enumeration value AM_WRITE, then it is not clear which AM_WRITE you want to assign. By this qualified access to the SysFile.AM_WRITE, it is completely clear for the compiler.

However, we managed to find a solution by downgrading both the "CODESYS Communication" and "CODESYS Recipes" components via the CODESYS Installer, accessible under the "Tools" section.

Hello, our team is able to use Raspberry Pi on CODESYS, but we purchased two peripherals that utilize I2C and we cannot figure out how to access these devices in CODESYS. Add the object "POU for Implicit Checks" to your application, then select "Bounds check". This will create a function which is automatically called each time an array is write accessed. In the function you can handle "out of bounds" situations. By default it will be limited to its lower or upper bound.

A bit of work but maybe possible to make your own driver using "CODESYS Control SL Extension Package". Look at the "ExternalIoDrv" example. It is installed in "C:\Program Files\CODESYS 3.5.20.0\CODESYS\CODESYS Control SL Extension Package" when you install the "CODESYS Control for Linux SL".

this is not easily. From Point of SL-Licenses Codesys didnt provide the informations how to do. We created an own CDS-Component for that Behaviour. This Informations are available for OEM, if you are an OEM you can find the Informations in the RTS-Documentation.

Open the CODESYS Installer (from the menu Tools). Go to Browse. Search for: help ... Select the CODESYS Offline Help which you would like to install. (probably you have to close CODESYS to install it and reopen it after installation).
