Testing Codesys CNC. SMC Interpolator Throws me an error if my code surpass approximately 32000 lines of code. (SMC_CNC_INTERNAL_ERROR) What is the max lines of code SMC Interpoltor can handle ? I've been thinking breaking the code up into smaller sections, but that gives me a lot problems later if i want to use "Blocksearch" etc. I need to run approximately 2000000 lines of code.

What happened to Python? I’ve just installed version 3.5.21.3 of the CODESYS development environment. I’m coming from 3.5.19.5. What happened to Python scripting! We rely heavily on it for the automatic generation of thousands of lines of code! It seems absurd to me that such an important feature has been removed!

It is well known that you need to increase the value of IoDrvEtherCAT.DCInSyncWindow to solve the "Fieldbus lost synchronicity" issue. In the official document, IoDrvEtherCAT.DCInSyncWindow is explained as the toleration of a certain jitter. But the official document doesn't explain what kind of the jitter is. Is it the jitter of DC sync deviation, master timer or something else? It is very important to know the insights of IoDrvEtherCAT.DCInSyncWindow. For example, if it is the toleration of DC sync deviation, and the official recommending value is 200us for CODESYS SoftMotion. It means maximum of DC sync deviation is 200us. It is unacceptable for some high precision motion control tasks, for example high speed gear task, etc. Increasing the value of IoDrvEtherCAT.DCInSyncWindow will increase the deviation of motor rotation sync if it is the toleration of DC sync deviation. So, would anyone tell me what the insights of IoDrvEtherCAT.DCInSyncWindow is? Thanks.

I don't recommend using 'Communication Manager'. Under 'Communication Manager', the 'NodeId' type of OPC UA can only be of type 'OPAQUE'. This will bring compatibility issues to the development of the upper computer.

Hello, the problem was that the 4.6.0.0 Codesys control was not compatible with S versions of the RevPi controller because of the becuase of the Compute Module 4S. For those controllers, 4.8.0.0 version must be used.

I’m currently working on establishing a TLS connection with an MQTT broker using the MQTT Client SL package in CODESYS. While I’ve successfully established communication with the broker without TLS, I'm encountering issues when trying to enable TLS. In the 'MQTT Explorer' application, I can easily upload the server certificate (.crt), client certificate (.crt), and client key (.key). However, in CODESYS, I can’t find a way to upload my client key (.key file). Here's a summary of my current setup: Certificates: I have uploaded both the client and server certificates to the certificate store under the 'Trusted Certificates' folder in the security screen. TLS Context Initialization: Despite setting the _sCommonName as the name of my client certificate, a new self-signed certificate is created and placed within the device’s certificates. I then need to manually move this certificate to the trusted certificates folder. Hi, okay here's the project, it's a modified version of "CNC Example 10: Programming Dynamic CNC Paths", no need for G Code text file (i have also tried with G code text file, same problem) in "PROGRAM PLC_PRG" you can set bStart to true, and the program should start running, go to "PROGRAM CNC" and you can see axis moving. lrXpos := IoConfig_Globals.XAixs.fSetPosition; lrYpos := IoConfig_Globals.YAxis.fSetPosition; Now you can can change the number of movements in the the "PROGRAM PLC_PRG" From this number of movements in "program PLC_PRG" BUF : ARRAY[0..32010] OF SMC_GEOINFO; xp : ARRAY[1..32000] OF REAL; yp : ARRAY[1..32000] OF REAL; to this number to this number of movements BUF : ARRAY[0..132010] OF SMC_GEOINFO; xp : ARRAY[1..132000] OF REAL; yp : ARRAY[1..132000] OF REAL; Now if you start the program again you should see an error in the "sMC_Interpolator: SM3_CNC.SMC_Interpolator;" function block Let me know if you can not get it running.
