I have a case statement running a process. during one of the steps it has started calling a bool var that is 2 steps further on in the case? i have even tried //commenting it out but it still turns on at the same point in the case. i have also run a trace but cant see anything that would trigger it. Hi, there is a plethora of hardware available for it to be succesful on. In theory every ARM32/64 or x86/64 device is a potential target. Next to this there are embedded device platforms for which specific toolchains are available. A good starting for manufactureres of CODESYS capable devices is available here: https://www.codesys.com/the-system/codesys-inside.html. That should give you a good reference point.

But as soon as I use Frame configuration I lose all other properties but some very basics. I need to have still possibility to set Input configuration because my element is Button. Hey thank you for the reply dkugler. I am sorry if this seems like a stupid question. I have the use current visuvariable checkbox enabled. I can see the string names of all my visualizations. I am trying to use ladder logic to be the anser to the button press using "VisuElems.CurrentVisu := 'MainScreen';. This returns an error. Any idea what I am doing wrong or could you point me in the right direction for fixing this. Thanks,

I think I need to read up on why this happened. I understand that placeholders should point to a particular version for obvious reasons however what has occurred in this instance is different. The example project was released as a "project archive" but it seems to load differently based on what I've got installed in my repositories. I'm going to dig into that tomorrow but any advice is welcome.

Hi bertus, the coordinate systems used in SoftMotion CNC are all right-handed. The CNC editor uses isometric projection. This can be confusing, as in your example. The y-axis seems to point into the screen, away from the viewer. However, this is just an optical effect. If you turn on the (experimental) perspective projection (must be added to the CNC tool bar using tools->customize), you can see that the coordinate system is in fact right-handed. Installing codesys has been the biggest point of frustration for me and is the reason I'm currently working on building a VM just for the codesys engineering software so once I get a working installation I can copy the VM to new workstations instead of fighting with the installer every time I get a workstation upgrade. The best advice I've gotten in the past is to uninstall everything and start over, this is successful 50% of the time. Also don't install the latest version it's usually less stable than an older one ironically.

Hello, Im using SMC_NCInterpreter and SMC_NCReadFile2 to read gcode program for CNC machine and what I have observed is that G51 and G52 is not smoothing the path. Machine stops in every point, what could I do to make machine pass through the points without stopping or what could allow me to use smooth path corretly if I use NCInterpreter. Im using it because I want to add variables to my gcode and its not possible directly from the CNC editor thats why I do use external file. Any ideas?

Hi TK_Jenssen did you found a solution I am setting up the samelike gantry only with two z-axes which are mounted on fix position with an X axes between the two z-axes. The movement and position of both z-axes must be very well aligned and calibrated. Maybe also to be adjusted by programming. Can you sent an example of your solution?

Hallo Forum Hat jemand Erfahrung mit dem Optimalem anpassen der Position und Grösse der Visualisierungselemente? Bei uns funktioniert in der Codesys 3.5 SP20 nur die Anpassung auf der x-Achse mit (Container.Width - Visu.Width). Die y-Achse wird jedoch mit (Container.Height - Visu.Height) nicht beeinflusst. Wir haben dies nach dem Beispiel von Codesys "Position und Größe optimal anpassen" umgesetzt und keinen Erfolg. Besten Dank für eure Hilfe.

Hello forum Does anyone have experience with optimally adjusting the position and size of the visualization elements? For us, the adjustment on the x-axis works in Codesys 3.5 SP20 with (Container.Width - Visu.Width). However, the y-axis is not affected with (Container.Height - Visu.Height). We implemented this according to the example from Codesys "Optimally adjust position and size" and had no success. Thank you very much for your help.

Hi, Is it possible to display the units along the X,Y axis of the Path3D element? It correctly shows the CNC path to be followed, but there's no indication of scale or size of what's being displayed. I looked at the documentation and my first inclination is that this is not possible, and the option option would be to somehow recreate the Path3D functionality into the XY Chart visu element - which is not ideal. Any suggestions or pointers would be appreciated!

mir ist kein Scallierungsparameter bekannt bisher. Als Workaround fällt mir folgendes ein: für keypad und numpad jeweils eine zusätzliche Visualisierungen erstellen, welche lediglich einen Frame enthält, der wiederum das originale numpad und keypad aufruft. Über die Eigenschaft relative Bewegung X & Y könnte dann der Frame sogar zur Laufzeit über eine Variable in der Größe angepasst werden. Die beiden ersellten Visualisierungen muss man dann noch im Visumanager unter Dialogeinstellugen als zu verwendende Numpad und Keypad entsprechend zuweisen. Nachteil: Visu-Scallierungen sind oft Spritfresser, sprich gönnen sich ordentlich Rechenleistung. Viel Erfolg!

estou com um PLC festo CECX-X-C1, gostaria de comunicá-lo com a ihm weintek, o clp possui o módulo ethernet e no maual fala que por conta disso deve comunicar em tcp ip, modbus e etc, mas já tentei seguir o manual e nada. Na configuração do hardware ele não me aparece o módulo de ethernet pra configurar e não consigo encontrar o pacote para codesys 2.3 contendo esse módulo, alguém poderia me ajudar?

Good morning, I am currently working on implementing a display dimmer. I want the display to dim after X minutes. This works so far. The implementation is done via the Linux subsystem, to which a command is sent to dim the display. However, my problem is resetting the timer when input is received. I want the dimming timer to be reset with each click/touch. Unfortunately, I can't find a suitable solution for this. Are there any ways to do this? Codesys v3.5 SP19 Patch 2

I just try to help. Anyway it is a big difference if a Store SL runtime or an oem plc and licence is used. These licenses need to be activated on plc side - so you have dependencies to the version (CODESYS and Runtime Version) Did you ever ask Epis out for this situation? They should know which license fit to their device. Even they should know if the device is capable for Softmotion and see the requiremnts in the CODESYS store: Runtime 4.9.0.0 - how should this work with Epis 3.5.16.x? Anyway refund is not a problem.
