Hallo zusammen, ich hoffe, ihr könnt mir helfen. Eigentlich möchte ich etwas ganz einfaches erreichen: CODESYS Runtime auf Raspberry Pi (OPC UA Client über Datasources Manager) <--> Cognex Designer (OPC UA Server) auf Windows PC Es will einfach nicht klappen. Wenn ich die Datenquelle hinzufüge, Adresse opc.tcp://192.168.150.10:4840 kommt immer BadRequestTimeout. Es ist keine Security und keine Authentication auf dem Server eingerichtet. Auf dem gleichen Raspberry klappt es aber wunderbar mit dem Tool opcua-client! Das heißt für micht, es ist kein Raspberry oder Firewall Thema. Was auch geht: Diese CODESYS Runtime auf dem Raspberry ist OPC UA Server (einfach über die Symbolkonfiguration) und eine andere CODESYS Runtime (ControlWin auf meinem Rechner) ist Client und verbindet sich über den DatasourceManager. Allerdings: Die Daten kommen im Client nur im 1s Takt an, obwohl die Aktualisierungsrate auf 10 ms eingstellt ist und sowohl Server, als auch die DatasourcesTask im Client auf 10 ms laufen. Ich kann einstellen, was ich will, es bleibt bei exakt 1 Sekunde Aktualisierungszeit im Client. Warum ist das so? Wenn ich auf dem gleichen Windows PC, auf dem die ControlWin läuft den UaExpert verwende und mich zum Raspberry verbinde, kriege ich die Daten im 10 ms Raster! Am Server liegts also nicht! Zurück zu meiner eigentlichen Aufgabe: Ich konnte mir vorübergehend so behelfen, dass ich auf dem gleichen Raspberry einen IO-Broker laufen lasse, der zwei Instanzen des OPC UA Clients hat. Er verbindet sich mit dem OPC UA Server des Raspberry und des Cognex Designers (also die zweite Instanz auf dem Raspberry, die es schafft, sich mit dem zu verbinden, nur Codesys schafft es nicht). Der IO Broker ist also das Bindeglied zwischen beiden OPC UA Servern. Über Javascript kopiere ich bei Wertänderung die Daten vom einen Server auf den anderen. Das ganze Funktioniert tadellos, nur die Performance ist nicht so toll, wobei ich mir nach der Erfahrung mit den zwei Codesys Instanzen nicht sicher bin, ob es nicht an Codesys liegt und der IO Broker nichts dafür kann. Ich komme mit dem Thema einfach nicht weiter. Könnt ihr mir Tipps geben? Am liebsten wäre mir natürlich der direkte Weg: Cognex Designer als Server --> Codesys als Client Aber zur Not wäre auch der IO Broker ein gangbarer Weg, allerdings muss die Performance stimmen. Gibt es noch weitere Wege? Ich danke euch für eure kreativen Ideen und Lösungsvorschläge!

As I wrote before on the title, I have difficulties to connect to see webvisu from localhost. The story: while waiting for the plc+hmi to arrive, I'm preparing the software, mainly the visual parts trough the control Win3 x64 (same version as the ide 3.5.20.10). The problem is that I can't see the webvisu with the installed webbrowser. I don't know if this is a problem, but I changed the port to 9001 (randomly "free") because 80, 8000, 8080, 8088, 3000 are all occupied by other projects (all on the Apache server). Is there something wrong with the config file? This is the url: localhost:9001/webvisu_app.htm and here the config file part "CmpWebServer". you need to get the addons that the person that programmed it used. I always store an .installation-config file alongside the project. If you have lost that, then it gets a bit of a headache: I think even with SP18 you can hit yes to open it anyway, and it will suggest which addons it thinks are missing, if you double click the yellow "missing-addons" in the status bar. If you know you have the right addons, you can do a "Save As.." and it will write your current addon list to the file, and you wont get the error next time.

I am having an issue where the manual start/stop push buttons on the HMI are supposed to take the pumps/blowers out of auto. The logic I have attached works for the pumps, but not the blower. From what I can tell it is the exact same logic, but it is not writing a 0 to the Auto PB variable. Attached is the logic, cross reference list to show nothing else is writing to it, and the HMI screen. Any help? Am I missing something? I am using a Groov Epic PR1, my software version is 3.5 SP19 Patch 5 32 Bit.

Since a time, I'm looking on how to use the KeyPad in vizualization to fill a textlist or something similar. my application is : In one window, I would need to be able to writte a string linked to an Numeric Values. => I can't use a std text list inside my software, as per this would be custom by customer. then from another windows I would need a "text box" to be able to select any of this String. The Multi I/O Hat fit my needs because of the Analog I/O 4-20ma and RTD. I used a Raspberry Pi 5 and 64b install. The example project is also worth the download. With the sample project open, right click on the Raspberry Pi device and update to whatever you are using (SL, MC, 64b). Enable I2C on the PI. You can jumper the hats Analog Outputs to Inputs and see it function on the Web Visualization. Very Cool! I spent quite a bit of time trying to find this solution so hopefully this update helps others. Good morning everyone. In my setup I am trying to use a couple of EL7041-0052 (the EL7041 variant without terminals for an encoder) to run stepper motors without feedback. When using the softmotion drivers for the EL7041 (Rev22 and Rev24, even selecting external feedback type doesn't work) the device log shows warnings for the corresponding hardware: "SDO write error 0x1 -> 0x8012:0x08 eError 0x1 AbortCode 0x6090011". 0x8012:0x08 is the register for the Feedback Type. My best guess was setting the the register value in the start parameters to zero, but the result is the same. What else can I try to get the hardware to work? I have screenshots attatched showing the running fieldbus and the log messages. EDIT: One clarification: the "device log" that shows the error is the PLC, not the ethercat terminal. The log of the terminal itself shows neither errors nor warnings. BR Robert

I am currently attempting to modify the SMC_GeoInfo objects in the SMC_OutQueue using the code below. Note that all the other code is pretty standard and works fine, but when I add the below it errors. It creates a pointer with the value as shown in the photo, but all the dereferenced values say dereference of invalid pointer.

Hello everyone, I hope you can help me with my problem. I am new to programming and am currently working with a WAGO controller in our lab, which controls a heat pump. My goal is to send the electrical power of the heat pump (Pel_WP) via a UDP connection to a specific IP address. I am using Codesys version 2.3 and following the guide I found here: https://forge.codesys.com/forum/de/396/genmed-Konfiguration%20der%20UDP%20Kommunikation%20Cosesys%20S7.pdf. I have adapted the guide to suit my needs. The data sending works since I can force the reception value Pel_WP and the data is sent accordingly. However, I am having trouble with the receiving part. The reception value is not being correctly received, and the diSocket variable shows -1. The connection between the heat pump and the WAGO controller seems to be set up correctly, as the heat pump is listed under the communication parameters with the correct IP address. I have also attached images to provide a better view of the setup. I would greatly appreciate any support or suggestions for a solution. Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone, I'm currently working on a project involving the control of 5 VFDs via Modbus RTU, this time using the WAGO 750-8212 CPU. So far, I've managed to make progress, but I've encountered an issue. While I can successfully read and write to all the registers I need, I consistently encounter a "Response CRC Fail" error when attempting to write the value 1151 to the STW register at address 40100. I'm able to set the frequency via register 40101 and adjust all other parameters using different registers. Setting STW to 1150 results in the drive ready boolean from the ZSW-bit being received instantly. However, the moment I attempt to send 1151 to register 40100, I immediately receive the "Response CRC Fail" error for all channels. I've also attempted to use combined control, employing Modbus for frequency control and starting from a digital input. Everything seems to function properly until I send the start command to the VFD. Interestingly, I consistently encounter the same error the moment I send the start command, regardless of whether I use register 40006 (high) or 40100 (1151). Could someone please assist me in resolving this issue?

Good morning, I'm digging into this topic because I'm curious about resolving my problem in a test environment. In my previous message, I asked about the CODESYS Safe Timeprovider SL package (4.18.0.0), which I saw in the illustration. I noticed that it runs as a service. I am asking about this because from the perspective of an "ordinary" user, this service provides easier access to the settings of the time provider's operating parameters. The basic time provider configuration is outlined at https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20Control/_rtsl_virtual_safe_time_provider.html. Why my questions? They stem from my specific case, which is experiencing timeout issues. I know that my environment is currently only a test environment. I'm assuming a real-world scenario in which I won't be able to achieve a better result with my configuration, and I will ultimately need to increase the time provider's cycle time. By running the time provider service, I can easily influence the time provider's operation and thus eliminate the problem. I know, I know, safety systems are not life-enhancing extras.

Hello, I am trying to re-create the CoE online window within a Visu for purposes of checking and interacting with device parameters occasionally for maintenance purposes. To minimize reliance on using the IDE for misc interactions. Ideally, I would like to exactly mimic the CoE online window within the IDE. I assume that it uses a few tricks to minimize overhead, such as only polling registers which are within the visual scope, for example. I'm afraid it might be too much to ask for a pre-built drop-in Visu module to exist for this task. Do I have any options aside from manually re-creating all the logic to do this, relying heavily on SdoInfo function blocks? Is there a way for me to reference the device ESI file to shortcut the process of determining how many registers there are and getting the address for each?

I had the same problem. Problem solved: all licences purchased before October 2022 must be updated by Codesys. To do so, simply contact the support in the Codesys Store.
