Hello, I'm coming to you today because I'm trying to make the baudrate and the slave number dynamic. I've tried the "updateComPortSettings" method on the slave device but it doesn't work and gives the "Modbus_COM_Port" an error. Can you tell me how you got this method to work? To display the current time, you’ll need to retrieve it from the system clock. In CODESYS, you can use the built-in function SysTime to get the current system time. I have managed to change my dynamic visu table colors with the template for each column to dark like my rest of the webvisu background is. How ever the empty table (when not populated) and the table header stays white / gray. Is there same way to modify the colors of header and empty table?

Hello @florian, Could you please help with how to set an array value? I've been trying to use the with the setKeyWithArray method which creates the key with an empty array value. Using V19 Patch 7 and 4.11.0.0 for Pi 4 Model B, My problem is whenever I change a tag e.g bool from true to false it will change in software but the pin will only go high to low after pressing stop PLC in codesys and same if i want to bring it back to high, have to login start plc change it and stop plc in order to change. any insight ? thanks

(Aee OLH and Syntax) The placeholder <slot> must be replaced by an integer value that defines the position in the initialization sequence.</slot> The default value is 50000. A lower value causes an earlier initialization! If several signatures have the same value for the 'global_init_slot' attribute, the order of their initialization remains undefined! Cautious application should therefore be considered! Example: The project contains f.e. two global variable lists GVL_1 and GVL_2. The global variable "A" is part of the global variable list GVL_1: {attribute 'global_init_slot' := '300'} VAR_GLOBAL A : INT:=1000; END_VAR The initialization values of the variables "B" and "C" of GVL_2 are dependent on the variable "A". {attribute 'global_init_slot' := '350'} VAR_GLOBAL B : INT:=A+1; C : INT:=A-1; END_VAR So if you set the 'global_init_slot' attribute of the global variable list GVL_1 to 300, i.e. to the lowest initialization value in the example, then it is ensured that the expression "A+1" is well-defined at the time of initialization of "B".

PRG_2 fb_2 : fbExample2; fb_2.method_2 if xTest then PRG_1.fb_1.method_1(); end_if; Is there a reason why runtime hangs when I call the method_1 in PRG_1 from a method in PRG_2? Both programs run in the same task. No chance that any other program calls the method. What I practically do there is that in the program PRG_2 I add a structed object into a buffer. In PRG_1 I just process the items in the buffer.

Hello everyone, I am trying to test the OPC UA client feature in Codesys. My setup is the following; I have a Codesys simulation/ visualization running on Control Win V3. My OPC UA server is hosted on a Siemens 1518 PLC using PLCSim Advanced. The setup is completely virtual so there are no really PLCs. Everything is on my laptop. Writing data from the Codesys simualtion to the server is very quick. I have a PLC program running on another 1500 PLC which reads data from simulation via the server, and changes in the simulation (e.g. button pressed) appear within hundreds of miliseconds if not tens of miliseconds in my PLC program. However, when it comes to reading data from the OPC UA Server by Codesys, it taks around 1-2s. I connected a UAExpert client and it gets update very quickly so I am fairly sure the problem is with Codesys. I have tried changing the update rate in datasource -> General and Diagnosis, but it doesn't seem to have an effect. Do you guys have any suggestion on what I can do?
