Hi, I suppose that you are referring to the error code "SMC_FB_WASNT_CALLED_DURING_MOTION"? Starting of Softmotion version 4.15.0.0 the instance path of the function block that has not been called is logged into the device log. This might help you to identify why it has not been called.

It's probably because you have an INT in the input to the MUL function, which will then try to output an INT as well. INT variables can only handle values of -32768 to 32767. Your value of 523000 won't fit in an INT, so it turns into an invalid number. Use a DINT. This is usually better for working with time values anyway, because time values are all 32 bit. Or if you can't, use INT_TO_DINT(gvlp.detectie_nalooptijd_s) in the input to the MUL function.

Hi guys, I am new to the Visualization. I am having a problem. I have multiple web-panel to use webvisu. I have my software dowwloaded into the one PFC200. There are 3 screens connected to it. I noticed that if I switch page/visualisation on one of the screens, the others will change as well. Three screens are with different URLs that I set in the software. Reading the file "codesyscontrol.log" I see these logs OPC UA Server Started: Hostname: NTLRPICTRL01, Port: 4840 URL: opc.tcp://NTLRPICTRL01:4840 Loopbackadapter activated. **All available networkadapters are used.** Multithreading activated. 3 workers used. My controller, which is a Linux PC, has got two network cards eth0 and eth1 I whant to use the card with name "eth0" as a server for OPCUA and keep the "eth1" free for other stuffs. Is it possible ? Hi, I have a XY system and use a CNC file to move it. Everything works OK, except for the following: when CNC execution starts, the system rushes at high speed to (X=0, Y=0) point, and only then goes to the first line of the CNC file. If one of the axes is near 0, the system jumps and immediately stops with an error. In the CNC file settings (screenshot attached) I specified low default values for speed/acceleration and a start position different from 0,0 - but all that is ignored. Any idea how to avoid that move to 0,0 ? Thanks.

I am trying to make a LD program for an existing installation with a motor. Here an inductive sensor is used to give an input, as a check to verify the conveyor is actually running. Here the plan was to use a TOF timer which gets constantly reset when the sensor input gets detected. The problem is, that if the conveyor is stuck, and the sensor sends a continous signal, the timer will never do what it is supposed to do. Therefor I need some help on how I can convert the input to a pulse, with the help of something like a SOTU. I just cannot find this in codesys anywhere.

Hello, I tried using the CSV Utility SL Example from the CODESYS IIoT Libraries SL. No matter what path I try, I can not get the InitSave to work from CSVWRitersSTExample, line 2. It always gives the error 'CANNOT_OPEN_DIRECTORY'. I am running this on an Windows Azure VM, with Codesys Control Win V3 x64. I added a folder called 'temp' to my C: so that the default 'C:/temp' would work. However it gives CANNOT_OPEN_DIRECTORY. I tried updating to 'C:\temp' with the same result. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do you think it is something in this library, that makes it possible to do the configuration in a PRG? https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/IODrvEtherCATDriver/Current/IoDrvEtherCAT.html#id1 I think the codesys modbus libraries support configuration and connection to modbus slaves without having to add the slave devices in the device tree. Just do it from function blocks inside the program. I was hoping for something similar with EtherCAT.

Hello, I tried to run the example project from https://forge.codesys.com/prj/codesys-example/alarm-manager/home/Home/ However, I can not get the interface for Alarm History 12 Alarm Manager client to populate with any alarms. 'udiResult := AlarmManager.g_AlarmHandler.RegisterClient(itfAlarmManagerClient12, ADR(arritfAlarmsFromHistory12), iMaxCountAlarmsFromHistory12);' when I look at itfAlarmManagerClient12 its always empty. What is confusing is that when I simulate 2 alarms, iCountActiveAlarms 12 has a vlaue of 2, associated with itfAlarmManagerClient12 - so that appears to work. And yet, its useless as the ProcessAlarms Function can't extract anything from the empty array. I dont understand how these arrays are supposed to be populated and why its not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
