Hi. I have a problem with MODBUS TCP MASTER. I treid to read HR in range 3027-3037 but I cannot read them. I have modbus slave chanel with offset 0x3037. I checked what I read and it looks like I am reading HR in range 1-10. What I am doing wrong.

I don't have a multiplexer so it very weird that it connects with that multiplexer. If i do a I2C scan on the PI terminal, i only get the device addresses 0x48 and 0x51. One for the ADC and one for RTC. I will try again with your libraries

The problem is that newer PeakCAN cards are with CAN FD support and SJA1000 compatibility isnt mentioned anymore on website. anyway, is it possibile to add a seperate entry for it in: [CmpSJACanDrv] ? Edwin, can you give us a hint how to format it?

A Task is a standard IEC 61131-3 object, so logically that you can export the VISU_TASK. A visualization is no standard IEC 61131-3 object, so not compatible with other IEC tools. Just use the standard export / import functionality. These files are not IEC compatible and can only be used in CODESYS. But these do support visu objects.

And I still get this "Webvisu not supported due to missing browser feature HTML5-Canvas" fallback with a quite simple webvisu containing some buttons, images, textboxed and a grid. What can I do? is that a configuration to change? Thanks!

Hello dear colleagues. I have an ESTUN PRONET servo. I'm trying to control via softmotion over the CANopen bus. There is no Ethercat bus in this servo model. In another project,using Ethercat , I controlled four axes. I have problems with ESTUN PRONET servos. A DSP-402 driver mismatch is likely. I would be very grateful for your help in solving this problem.

Hi These issues occured using a Raspberry Pi 4. I also repeated the experiment with codesys control for Windows, which results in much lower cycle times. With up to 3 ms, I still think they are fairly high given they should run at 2 ms and don't require complicated kinematics. The effect of higher cycle times for slower movements also prevails.

Codesys Installation : worked Codesys Starting : worked but right after start it stopped. with Start Runtime it starts again but stops automatically after 5 seconds is Codesys planned for Raspi 5?! Hello everyone, I have a working SPI connection (with transferExt) between a Raspberry master with Codesys and an ESP32 slave. I would also like to use a few GPIO pins. Is there a problem with using SPI AND GPIOs? Environment: Raspberry Pi 4+ with Raspian from Oct 23 Codesys V3.4 SP19 Patch 5 with Runtime Version 4.10.0.0 Device: GPIOs B+/Pi2 My problem: The status is displayed as “GPIOs : not running”. And also during mapping the message “The bus is not running. The values shown are perhaps not actual”. However, the variable changes that I make in my program are displayed under “Current Value”. In the Logic Analyzer, the pin toggles during transmission with small intervals of +-4us (seems to be a cyclical disorder, but I don't know where exactly it could be coming from). This applies to pins that I actually use (output) but also to the other GPIOs (not used). With GPIO 4, the line remains permanently high. Attached is a screenshot from the Logic Analyzer. Channel 1,3,5 were GPIO pin 26, 22, 17 Would be very grateful for help. Best regards

Hi, In Codesys V3.5 SP20, using Data Source Manager I am trying to connect to the OPC UA server and receive tags from it. The connection is ok, but the Codesys have a problem with downloading Tags group. The window (downloadingTags.jpg in attachement) never stop. After waiting for a while, I disconnect the connection and only the Server group remains downloaded, with OPC UA server diagnostic data (and this is read in Codesys). Of course, I tried connected via another OPC UA client : UaExpert , and everything works as it should, all tags are downloaded (Uaexpert.jpg screen). Has anyone on the forum encountered the OPC UA client configuration in Codesys? Is it possible to manually request the appropriate tags from the OPC server for reading in Codesys?

Hi, I'm using Codesys control for Raspberry Pi in the latest version (4.11.0.0) When I try to install a license with the new application-based licensing, I have an error "returncode 403046401" (using codesys SP18) I updated to codesys SP20, and now I get the following error: "The selected conainer [0]: SN=..., Version=1.18, Chip=0, Rev=0 does not fit to your ticket. Please select a suitable one." The license I'm trying to install is a Codesys Control Basic L license, with a Codesys Visualization L option, according to the needs of my application. What can I do to activate my license ?

So, I downloaded the package on another computer and installed it manually. But this package has dependencies packages: CODESYS.Control SL Extension Package, V4.0.0.0 CODESYS.Control SL Deploy Tool, V4.10.0.0 As I said, the computer with CODESYS is offline. I cannot use the package installer to search for these packages. I did not find them in Codesys Store with another computer. Do you know where to find and download them? Looking for a better way to manage Persistent Variables. We tend to have local vars in our FBs that need persistence through downloads as the systems are updated/altered on a regular basis. Retain would suffice if we had an easy mechanism to backup and restore like we can with Persistent variables and recipes. Although not having to remember that step with Persistent variables is preferred. We're running into issues with persistent storage capacity (WAGO PFC200) using the Persistent variable list (and adding all instances). It appears there are many ways to handle this, some with recipes, some with files, others with application manager. Is there a solution that exists that is as simple as declaring as Persistent and managing elsewhere? Or do we need to move onto periodically writing CSVs?

Hi, My problem is with raspberry pi 4 with 2 GB ram,. Install codesys is correct but runtime works only few seconds or I can connect with device few seconds. I can ping raspberry and in system info I can see " !!!! Warning: no runtime license - running in demo mode(~2 hours)" but it is 2 minutes after runtime. When I press Start runtime I have another few seconds when I can connect to raspberry. After this time I couldn't find device. Of course, reapet start runtime works every time on few second. Raspberry is new and works with fresh install raspberry os 32 bit. Where should I start looking for solve of my problem ?

With a machine I'm working with i get a communication error when I'm updating some softstop limits. As soon as I update the code the drives do not want to operate. Using the MC_readStatus I'm receiving errors as soon as i want to start a movement. Using MC_ReadAxisError i see that i receive error 131, no response. With a SMC3_ETC_ReadParameter_CoE i do not recieve any driver errors. Does anyone know how i can figure out what the error is and how to solve it. When i go back to the old software no errors occur. Im working with a legacy machine running a Beijer PLC with some Mitsubishi drives. running on Codesys 3.5 SP10. the runtime version is probably 3.5.3. The drives are all Ethercat Drives (CoE). All using the SM3_drive_ETC libary and the SM3_basic library.

Hello everyone, I’m currently working on setting up an EtherCAT Master using CODESYS on a Raspberry Pi, and I’ve run into some issues I could use help with. Project Setup: EtherCAT Master: Raspberry Pi with CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi 64 SL installed EtherCAT Slave: Beckhoff CX5130 with EK1200 coupler I/O Module: EL2008 License Module: EL6070-0033 I’ve installed the required CODESYS packages and the Linux gateway on the Raspberry Pi. In my project, I added the EtherCAT Master with the appropriate port settings and scanned for devices. The CX5130 shows up as a slave, but communication fails—I'm getting error messages and can't access the outputs. Specifically: The EL2008 output module isn’t recognized properly in CODESYS. There’s no option to communicate with it through the CX5130. I’ve tried connecting via both the Raspberry Pi’s built-in Ethernet port and an external network card. I've attached screenshots showing the errors I get in CODESYS and the devices detected via TwinCAT for reference. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! My situation is not the comment tell you ...my situation is impossible upadte new version of master ehtercat if you create the project with older version. Have you got a idea? Can you help me please?

Hello, I have an EtherNet IP adapter (GoPxL) running with a virtual PLC. I have successfully connected the adapter with green icons next to it. On WireShark I can see the data coming from GoPxL but on CODESYS it shows up as all 0. My firewall is turned off and I have enabled the device to always update variables. I tested my set up with Profinet and I can receive the data. Please let me know if you have any suggestions!

I was trying to use subdevicesCollapsed attribute in device descriptor in order to not expand the subdevices when a new device with subdevices is inserted in the device tree. I use this as follows:<fixed subdevicescollapsed="true">. But it seems it doesn`t work. I am ussing Codesys v3.5 SP16 Patch4. Is anything wrong with this? Or am I mistaken with the use of this attirbute?</fixed>
