The RTE will take the RTE license. The HMI will take the HMI license. For the Application Based Licenses, the Runtime will take the smallest which is required. So if you have an application running EtherCAT and no visualization, only the Control with support for EtherCAT is used. If you have another runtime which requires the visualization, it will take the smallest Control license which is required and available + the smallest visualization license which is required.

Hello, I have a problem when opening the license manager for my raspberry pi (CM4 model) with runtime 4.13.0.0. I select "Device" --> "Soft Container" and click on my device in the scan window but I get this error message : Licensing info not available. There is no dongle attached to this device. I can't install licenses anymore, and I don't understand why is CodeSys looking for a dongle when I specified I wanted to use a Soft Container. Can somebody help me please ? Best regards

Hello, I have a Exor HMI with 2 seperatred ETH interface's. It is Configured as PN Master on ETH interface 1 and the IO's are working, as long as the development PC is connected to the ETH 0 interface. When the PC is disconnected, the PN communication drops and a reconnection is started. I installed the newest device description for Codesys and Firmware for the Panel. The IO Gateway is from Weidmueller What could cause the Problem?

Hello, I currently have my trend configured with a maximum size limit of 5MB (additional settings can be seen in the attached image). However, I am encountering an error related to this trend, specifically within the TrendStorageAccess library. The device log shows the following message: TrendStorageAccess: prvCheckForSizeLimit (see the attached image for details). Does anyone know the reason for this error? For small project, I would like to use my industrial computer as a PLC + Industrial Computer. Like that I can save the cost of one PLC. That why I am using Codesys on Linux. With the nic it is not working. I already set the IP adress with /etc/network/interfaces. Can it comes from there ? looking to "Control Linux SL" docuemntation it should work with rtu.

I succeed to change the device to PI_SL but still the same problem of the I2C device switching between running and not running. the only difference with your project is that yo use I2C_master device version 4.7.0 and i 4.7.13, for GPIO i also use the 4.7.13 version and you the 4.7.0. Can you send me the older version of the Raspberry PI pheripals library, because i cannot choose lower version then 4.7.10 for the GPIO and I2C_master device

Finnaly i get it working. There was a line in the file that set the ADS1015 chip in /boot/firmware/config.txt which i removed and after that the ADS1115 has a green turning circle and i got values. i created a new component so it fits our ADS1015. see screenshot. It works also with Codesys Control for Raspberry Pi 64 SL after adding the ULINT_TO_UDINT conversion in the library. i think the chip was all the time in use by the Raspberry pi itself. It seems Podman for Raspberry Pi 3 is not detected correctly in the latest "Deploy Control SL 4.14.0.0" : Linux/ARMHFv7 unknown container technology. 1) The Communication Tab, device information section shows podman technology as DETECTED. 2) The Runtime Deployment menu message says: "unknown container architecture" 3) The pulldown window under the deployment tab doesn't show the options for ARMHF Virtual Edge SL and ARMHF Virtual Control SL. I hope you can fix this soon and keep up the great work!

gatto, That works. Thanks. Typically I use my mouse more than my keyboard. That's why I was looking for a delete option from the right-click context menu or a delete button on a toolbar at the top. It never occured to me to use the keyboard. It might be a little more user friendly if they allowed a mouse wise ability to remove a line from the grid as well as the DEL key. Just a suggestion. Interesting, thanks! Didnt know about ANY before, and will sure find a use-case for it. Im not sure it will help me here though, it seems to me that an ANY will not accept a string assignment? I actually think that the "ALIAS" should work, that was a hard found error. I had a fair bit of scratching my head looking for misdirected pointers before I understood what was (not) happening. I will use the work-around of individual structs instead.

Not sure if you've resolved this yet, but the Codesys runtime user/password is different than the Linux user/password. You'll need the Linux user credentials when you log in over SSH (for example, to install the Codesys runtime). When you first log in to Codesys on the RaspPi you'll set up a Codesys user and password. If you lost those credentials, you could try uninstalling and then re-installing the Codesys runtime on the RaspPi so you can setup a new user/password.

I cannot find a way to delete the Set method/accessor. I need to be able to change (set) the DeviceID of an IO-Link sensor (see DeviceID.png) at runtime. I tried with both ProfinetCommon.PN_PortConfiguration and ProfinetCommon.IOL_PortConfiguration, but I get an error for both when I try to read the port configuration (see PN_PortConfiguration.png). Does one of those FBs is the right one for my purpose? Do I possibly make a mistake when assigning the parameter IOLD_ID/IOLM_ID?

we use successful for many years the KEB MFI terminal for Profinet, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP,... You'll need a EtherCAT Coupler as "head" from KEB, Kendrion or Berghof. It's all the same board inside: https://www.kebamerica.com/products/ethercat-bus-coupler/ Or the coupler with 16Di/Do integrated: https://www.kebamerica.com/products/ethercat-digital-io-module/ last year I got a EK1100 with EL6731 Profibus treminal runnig. I'm trying to load a .package into Codesys 3.5.21, but the package is intended to only work with Codesys 3.5.18.0 and is configured with dependencies on the specific versions of other packages included with 3.5.18.0, and 21 has newer versions so the package will not install. I would like to install the package anyway to try and get things working on a newer Codesys version, since for some reason the installer for .18 errors out and doesn't fully work in my environment, but .21 seems to work fine.

The license for the runtime is installed on the device. However, I am unable to create a certificate for the OPC UA server in the security screen. I always get the error message: "The certificate has not been created by the device." Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Hello, For my delta robot i wil use the MC_MoveCirvularAbslolute function. Every time that i set the execute of this function has my Axis group a error. Thats is: The dynamic limits for the movement are invalid. What can i do that this error go away? I saw a view funcitons with limit dymanics but i don't now how they work. If i use the function MC_MoveLinearAbsolute than i have no error. Does anyone know how i fix this?
