The fix for this is when you install the control SL license, there is a checkbox for the Visu S license option. You must click this option. The Visu M is technically an upgrade to the Visu S, if this is license is not installed them the Visu M will fail as shown above. Thanks JoJo for the solution!

Thanks Tim. I would think it somehow is relevant when creating a compiled library, but that may very well not be the case. If I understand you correctly, then the same compiled library created from my source code would work for both 32 bit as well as 64 bit controllers.

For reference, it was just me being unfamiliar with EtherCAT in CoDeSys. Anyone with knowledge who would have opened the ScanResult screenshot would have identified that the preceding EK1100 was the device missing in the library. Bottom line - Do something else for a while and then get back at it with fresh eyes!

Hi ustad41, cams can be buffered using the BufferMode input of MC_CamIn. If the end- and start-velocity of two buffered cams are not zero, there will be no stop. Not sure this answers your question. Cams can be changes on the fly by aborting the active cam. Please see [0] for details on switching cams. Enabling Anonymous Login 1. Navigate to 'Device' > 'Communication Settings' > 'Device'. 2. Next, click on 'Change Runtime Security Policy'. 3. In the new window, find and check the box for 'Allow anonymous login'. After completing these steps, you should be able to communicate with the OPC UA server.

What happened to Python? I’ve just installed version 3.5.21.3 of the CODESYS development environment. I’m coming from 3.5.19.5. What happened to Python scripting! We rely heavily on it for the automatic generation of thousands of lines of code! It seems absurd to me that such an important feature has been removed!

Have you found a solution for this? Id be thankful for every hint. I have a controller with the same events in log and sometimes it crashes. Memory of the codesys3 task rises until the linux system kills the task because the controller runs out of memory.

Any reason BIT and BOOL data types are not interchangeable? Trying to make a function which takes a BOOL IN/OUT parameter (Not allowed to use BIT) In the main logic if I make a DINT variable, and want to use each bit on different functions CODESYS will not allow it.

Hi aniket-b, If you save the library as a compiled library you are not able to see the source code. When the end user tries to view inside the object, CODESYS will give a notification that the source code is missing, see attachment. In short if you don't send the source code, it will not show.
