Hi, I am trying to build a CI/CD pipeline around our codesys projects. The only entry point if the git url and branch, as we do not put our project file under source control, so we needed to find a way to git clone from the python scripting engine. This is currently how we do this : system.commands["Git", "Clone"].execute( "ProjectLocation=" + project_dir, "ProjectName=" + project_file_name, "RemoteUrl=" + project_git_remote_url, "GitProjectStoragePath=" + project_git_local_dir, ) system.commands["Git", "Checkout", "Branch"].execute( "PrimaryProjectHandle=0", "BranchName=origin/" + project_git_branch ) This works fine, except that, depending on the environment and the project, the "Project Environment" popup gets displayed to suggest for some updates, and waits for a user interaction, even with the "--noUI" flag injected as parameter. I investigated the VersionUpdateFlags, but the problem is that the git clone is an atomic operation that clones and directly opens the generated project without the possibility to inject any updateFlags argument (only used in the ScripProjects.open() function. I also tried to simulate some keyboard events acknowledge the window from script but I did not find the right location for the SendKeys statement, I think before the git clone call is too early and after is too late. So I am wondering if there would be some other way to do that. Is there some more proper scripting api for the git add on ? Is there a global configuration of the VersionUpdateFlags that would allow the popup to be disabled outside from any project context ? Is there some way to automatically acknowledge this kind of messages in a "--noUI" mode ? What do you suggest ? Thanks for your help, Roland Edit : I managed to solve my problem by following these steps in my pipeline : - create a template of a project and opt file preconfigured not to open the popup - open this project - initialize an empty git repo - add the remote, fetch and checkout the needed branch -> no popup is displayed, hourra Edit2 : The initial question was raised on a CODESYS V3.5 SP18 Patch 2 profile. Since CODESYS 3.5.19.30 a scripting API is available for Codesys Git that allows cloning a project with the support of VersionUpdateFlags https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20Git/_git_using_scripting.html

Hi all. I am currently struggling to get my Wago PFC200 running the Codesys Runtime in version 4.9.0.0 working. I am using Codesys V3.5SP19. I updated the PFC200 to the firmware version 04.01.10(23) after having tried the latest version (04.03.03(25) from Wago and not being able to start the runtime. After reading version 23 was needed, I changed to that and at least was able to have it start the codesys runtime. I also installed the "Codesys Control for PFC200 SL 4.9.0.0" plugin for Codesys to install the Codesys runtime in version 4.9.0.0 as well as update the Gateway on the device. While I seem to be able to connect to the gateway on the PLC (the dot is green) and when doing a scan, I do now find my PFC200, which is a huge improvement to before, where with firmware version 25 it just failed to start the runtime and I never found any device when doing a scan. Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to connect to the PLC in codesys. I logged in via SSH and changed the password and I can see that this password is correct as the stuff in the Codesys PFC200 tools tab only works if I use my changed password. And I used those credentials to update the installed Runtime version, which the log claimed to have worked fine. Now whenever I try to connect to the device found in the scan, I get a authentication pop-up with empy device name, device address: 000A. As User I use "root" and as password the password that I changed it to. As a response I just get "Ungültige Benutzerauthentifizierung auf dem Gerät" (Eng. probably something like "Invalid user authentication on the device". What could I be doing wrong? Admittedly I'm a bit lost here :-/ Chris

Hello, I have %QB0 8 high bits and %QB1 8 low bits . How can i swap bits %QB0 and %QB1 for requirment positions in a 16-bit value ? after that i need %QB0 and %QB1 in to 16bits . For that, i need help. Please see attached pictures for your reference. Thanks in advance.

I installed CodeSys V3.5 SP9 for HY-eVision2 1.18.0.0 and activated the License Keys for SVN and noticed that the "SVN" doesn't pop up when i go on Menu - Project. For some reason the SVN works on CodeSys SP10. I already deinstalled all CodeSys Applications and installed them again but it's the same. Maybe the problem already occurred and someone could help me.

Some findings on this issue: PEAK CAN Driver is the same as in every PCI card from PEAK. I updated the inf file. Here are my steps: 1. Include right VendorID into the *.inf file 2. Disable Windows driver check (Disable WHQL check). This you need because 3S driver is not certified. You will find steps via google or ask chatgpt :) 3. Select: Select driver from a list and navigate to the folder. Say yes to install an uncertified driver. 4. Driver installed and device without errors I did the same with CAN Card from ESD, but here you dont need to include the vendor ID. In ANY CASE it was not successful. The RTIOwdmgeneric is not available in Codesys or anyhow accassable :( I wonder that it fails in two cases, two suppliers, two driver in the same way. How can RTIOwdmgeneric implemented into the project?

Web Client Library Documentation Company: 3S - Smart Software Solutions GmbH Title: Web Client Version: 1.0.1.7 Categories: Application|Utils Namespace: WEB_CLIENT Author: 3S - Smart Software Solutions GmbH Placeholder: WebClient I encountered an issue using this library above. Note it is now part of Codesys IIoT Libraries SL in the form of Web Client SL, but I am not using this version. I was sending Content-Type: application/json, HTTP POST using a HTTPS URL. No issue observed initially, successful operation. At some point operation stopped and the codesyscontrol.log file started to accumulate errors: ERROR: TlsCreateContext2: Failed to save context. An application reset failed to resume operation and I was unable observe any TCP connection forming to a destination port 443. The error appeared as a TCP_INIT error. I can find no details as to what may have happened or why a reset of the PLC application did not resume operation. Testing with a curl operation proved to be successful, so I am confident there was no fundamental networking issue preventing a TCP connection forming. The solution was to reboot the hardware itself, but this is not satisfactory in the long term. Is there any description of the TLS error I received? Is there any suggestion here that there might be an issue with certificates? Any advice or information is appreciated.

Hi SLUCodesys, dwErrorId is a drive specific error number. The drive documentation should be consulted to interpret it. (Note that you should use MC_ReadAxisError to read this error, see https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/SM3_Basic/Current/SM3_Basic/POUs/Diagnostics/MC_ReadAxisError.html. Accessing the internal variable will result in outdated values if the acis error is not mapped by PDO and is not recommended in general.) uiDriveInterfaceError holds errors of the SoftMotion driver for the drive. It is also an internal variable, not intended for direct access. It is intended for logging, the PLC log will contain the drive interface error, consisting of this number and an error text. My recommendation for handling axis errors in the CODESYS application: 1) Use MC_ReadStatus on the axis to find out whether it is in state Errorstop 2) If in Errorstop, there are two possibilities: an error reported by the drive (MC_ReadAxisError) or an error of the SoftMotion function blocks (output MC_ReadStatus.FBErrorOccured). 3) If there is no drive error, you can use SMC_ReadFBError https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/SM3_Basic/Current/SM3_Basic/POUs/Diagnostics/FBError/SMC_ReadFBError.html Best regards, Georg

Hello everyone, I'm hoping for some assistance with a license activation issue: a software crash has left my license in a strange state. Here is the sequence of events: I purchased a new license for the Raspberry PI from the official CODESYS web store. I opened the CODESYS and started the online activation process using the ticket number I received. During the activation, the CODESYS software threw an exception and crashed. I was not able to see if the activation completed. After restarting CODESYS, I attempted to run the activation process again with the same ticket number. The License Manager now gives me an error stating that the ticket has already been activated/used. I am now stuck because my installation is not licensed, but the activation server believes my ticket has been consumed. Has anyone encountered this before? Is there a way to have the ticket status reset?

Yes it is possible. I did it a lot of times using TeamViewer VPN. Unfortunately, TeamViewer VPN only works on Windows. If the remote PLC is a Codesys runtime running on Windows, you should be able to login directly using TeamViewer VPN if it is installed on the PC/PLC. If it is not Windows based, you can still do it but you need to have a Windows based PC acting as a gateway in the middle. In this case you need to enable IP Forwarding on the Windows remote PC (the gateway) and you need to setup the gateway IP address on the PLC to be the address of the Windows PC. Then you need to add a route on your local PC to point to the gateway PC for Codesys communication. I know it may not be detailed enough but I did not want to make a whole tutorial on how to do it. Bottom line, it is possible. I do it all the time.

Hi everyone; I'm building a project in which the drag of the mouse over some controls (or the click event) changes the background color of the control items; this change of color is made with an FB that assignes a color code to the background with MUX command based on the value of an enumerator, this part is perfectly working but, when I'm using a touchpanel instead of a web visu (controlled by a mouse) I get into some issues as it seems that the touch operations are not triggering the MouseEnter and MouseLeave properties as it's done with the mouse.... For this reason I'm trying to add a TON to my FB and, if the enum that changes color remains at the same state for more then 3s I'm automatically resetting it to it's "0" so the item gets back the not selected color. Anyhow it looks like the TON function from library is not working in these FB that are instanced in the various visualizations, as instead they do if I create some instances within the POUS. Anyone has ideas of how to make them work?
