Hello, I'm new here so if I do something wrong please bare with me. I am using raspberry pi touchscreen made by comfile (CPi-C070WR4C). I also have a window 11 pc where I would like to have a second visualisation, but when I run a TargetVisu with it, all elements of the visualisation end up in the top left corner stacked on top of each other. I have same results running targetVisu on my laptop. Maybe someone had same issues and know the solution? Simas

I've created a TitleBar Visualization in which I have "Logo" on the Left corner, "Screen Name" in the center and Time/ date on the right corner. I've also created a 'Menu" visualization that slides out from left to right. I have TitleBar and Menu Visualizations in the MainScreen (3rd Visualization). I want to have "Screen Name" automatically updated on TitleBar Visualization based on Menu item selected from the "Menu" visualization. Can anyone advise how can I achive this? TIA

The help link appears to be broken. When I implemented something similar I had to add {attribute 'reflection} above the declaration of the FB with {attribute 'instance-path'} above the string VAR that would contain the path. Then wrote a function to trim off however much I wanted removed by searching for periods, then formatting it with spaces at the periods and removing brackets on arrays while also breaking up the PascalCase to present it a bit nicer for the end-users.

I'm building up a 2nd PC to match an existing developer PC. Installed the same SP and Patch levels but when I open a project that was created on the existing PC, Codesys complains that it's not the same version. Attaching a screenshot..... What else is there to match? Also, can all of the libraries that are on the existing machine be copied from it to the new machine and if so, how? (So I get the same versions) Which files/folders do I copy? Thanks! -Farren

Create an array of STRING and 1 INT variable, e.g.: asMyString : ARRAY[0..9] OF STRING; iIndex : INT; Then place a "Table" object in the visualization: - link this to the string array variable. - Check the option "Use Template" - Then in the Input Configuration - add the "Write Variable" command Somewhere else add a "Combobox, array" - link this to the same array. - And link the index to the INT variable. In the Combobox, you can then select one of the strings from the array. The index variable will indicate which selection has been made.

I have just installed Codesys 3.5. sp19 and I have downloaded example with Ethernet Rockwell 1734AENT. I have an IFM cr1077 display. I would like to show B&R mapp view on IFM visualization. I used coedsys web browser elemnt for this. I could see IFM working fine in Internet web browser but IFM device shows white screen and freezes. I think there is problem with IFM showing the web browser. Is my understanding of the web visu right? am I doing any mistake here?

Hallo zusammen, für den Aufruf VAR deviceDiag: J1939.IJ1939LocalECU; END_VAR deviceDiag.ChangeAddress(5); gibt es mit der Version 4.1.0.0 der Lib IoDrvJ1939 Übersetzungsfehler - C0035: Programmname, Funktion oder Funktionsbausteinstanz an Stelle von 'deviceDiag.ChangeAddress' erwartet - C0004: 'ChangeAddress' ist keine Komponente von 'IJ1939LocalECU__Union' Mit der bisher verwendeten Lib-version 3.5.17.0 nicht und auch das Setzen der device adress hat funktioniert. Lt. Release notes ("J1939: ChangeAddress method does not work properly.") wurde hier verbessert. Leider habe ich keine Beschbreibung dazu gefunden. Wie muss der Aufruf angepasst werden? Hello everyone Since I have installed Codesys 3.5.20sp2 I cannot get the profinet features working again. Now I get RPC Blocked during device scan (see attached file) and when online I get RPC-call error (see attached file). I run Codesys on the last version of Windows 11, Profinet ports have been added to Firewall rules, and even with disabled Firewall I get same result I really never seen that before Same result using another PC I already spent 2 days to find the issu without any success, I would appreciate some help, thank you! The RTE will take the RTE license. The HMI will take the HMI license. For the Application Based Licenses, the Runtime will take the smallest which is required. So if you have an application running EtherCAT and no visualization, only the Control with support for EtherCAT is used. If you have another runtime which requires the visualization, it will take the smallest Control license which is required and available + the smallest visualization license which is required.

Any reason the ADS1115 wouldnt work with SP20.1 and Runtime 10.0.0.0 on the Raspberry Pi . Using Bullseye or Buster i run into the same issue: Libary and integration works in general as described above BUT i am seeing "bleeding" between the analog inputs . Specifically consecutive ones: So sometimes the raw from AI1 shows on AI2, AI2 on AI3, .. AI4 on AI1. Even with filtering i cant smoothen that out properly and i feel like something is wrong. Almost like the bus is stumbling over itself, or the request from Codesys to the device.

It seems Podman for Raspberry Pi 3 is not detected correctly in the latest "Deploy Control SL 4.14.0.0" : Linux/ARMHFv7 unknown container technology. 1) The Communication Tab, device information section shows podman technology as DETECTED. 2) The Runtime Deployment menu message says: "unknown container architecture" 3) The pulldown window under the deployment tab doesn't show the options for ARMHF Virtual Edge SL and ARMHF Virtual Control SL. I hope you can fix this soon and keep up the great work!

I have noticed that Codesys doesn't provide option to Export any Visualization objects even though there is option to check to export VISU_TASK, which is strange because when Import in another empty project, user will end up with build errors. I understand that probable reason for this is that PLCOpenXML specification includes only "PLC" parts of the project (POU, PRG, variable lists, device ....), but not sure about it. Perhaps, there is some option to include visu objects also in the plcopen xml export list??

An update note. Still using linux/Qemu. Still happy, but sometimes some things are harder. I lost the "bridge" connection to my VM (meaning for instance I couldnt "scan network" and find local units. Have spent tons of hours to find out why. Finally it seems the traffic got blocked by the firewall/iptables so needed to set rules for that. So friendly note that rules must allow forward traffic to/from you configured host bridge device.

Dear Eschwellinger, Thank you for the response. Does that mean that the license-manager inside the Codesys-IDE does not work with this setup anymore? Because when I use this I get the notification that there is no dongle attached to the device (see picture). And If I insert the license by the deploy tool, can I then redeploy the Codesys virtual control container, or does this erase the license completely?

Hallo, wie verhält es sich mit der Demo-Version und Datenübertragung z.B. via CAN-Bus. Der Bus läuft, das Device befindet sich im Zustand "Operational" aber es werden keine Daten von der Soft-SPS empfangen. Ich benutze aktuell eine nicht lizenzierte Version von CoDeSys Control for Linux ARM64SL. Normalerweise sollte die Demo-Version uneingeschränkt laufen - also kann ich davon ausgehen, dass es sich um einen Programmierfehler handelt oder ist die Feldbusfunktion ohne Lizenz doch in irgendeiner Form eingeschränkt verfügbar (außer dem 30 Minuten Limit nach Reboot)?

Hallo, für einen BacNet2 Server lassen sich mit zwei Ethernet Schnittstellen auch zwei Bacnet 2 IP Datalinks anlegen. Einen Datalink nutze ich für den UDP Port 47808 und einen für den UDP Port 47809. Dadurch ist der Server aus beiden Netzwerken erreichbar, was so gewollt ist. Allerdings verbindet er die beiden Netze auch miteinander, was zu Kommunikationsproblemen führt, da in beiden Netzwerken bereits gleiche Device ID's vergeben sind und diese sich dann doppeln. Lässt sich diese Verbindung der beiden Netze abschalten? Gruß Tim

Hi, I tried with another project, using codesys SP20 with the latest visualization installed, I can install the application on my device but it doesn't work I get an exception "invalid license metrics" and the app won't run See attached the metrics in project and allowed by license, and the logs What am I supposed to do ? Everything is in the newest version and the values are lower than allowed and nothing works...
