I am rather new to Codesys and I'm trying to figure out how to get the status of an alarm. This to interlock the start of a device until the alarm has been acknowledged... I am not sure if IAlarm.GetState (METH) can be used for this purpose. Yes, this point is part of my misunderstanding. Why, after the execution ot the motion FBs is set to FALSE and exsecuted at lest one time, it must be continuosly called, even if the motion control it's take from another subsequent instruction. This is what I really don't undertand, but what in fact it's happening. For example, in case of stopping a MoveVelocity FB, then Halting the motion by the related FB, the axis at spot goes into error. If there was bad trigger management, the various instructions would NEVER work.

Hello again, After looking into it, I noticed that the release note of "CODESYS Control for Raspberry PI 4.13.0.0" mentions a bug fix titled "Support Compute module 4". Is it possible to have more details about this fix from the CodeSys team please ? Because I have several CM4 boards with the same hardware revision / OS but some of them works with the 4.10 runtime and others only works with the 4.13 runtime...

Hi. Thanks for the answer. I think I found your post on the Wago forum. I have tried installing all different nodeset versions of the opcfoundation.org/UA but neither work. Though I could not find the nodeset version called 15.09.2021 anywhere online. The opcfoundation repository only goes back to version 1.04.11 2022-03-29. Also wondering how I can generate a custom information model that only refrences the latest version of nodesets?

hi, Does anyone know how to optimise the responisiveness of the web visualisation? When i open the webvisu on my laptop it is very responsive, no noticable lag. But when i open it on the HMI (web client) at the customer site there is a lag of +-500 when opening popups etc. The hmi used is: Phoenix Contact WP 6156-WHPS full hd Arm® Cortex®-A53, 1.6 GHz qt web browser The clients performance seems to be the problem, what can i do in my project to decrease the load for the client?

Hi, please check if "Support client animations and overlay of native elements" option is enabled. This option is very heavy to manage for the Webclients. I'm using the Pixsys srl "TC series" HMI with the code "P3" (so a 4+4 cores CPU) that runs very well also with this option active. The same CPU is mounted also in their WebPanel "WP" series, so you can try one of them if you want.

Hello, I bought some licenses from CODESYS store. I am trying to install licenses into my device(CODESYS Control for Linux ARM64 SL). But I have a trouble with it. I did it in the following order. Tool -> License Manager Selected Device and Next... Selected Soft container and Next... Select the device and Ok.. And then I always show a message "Licensing info not available. There is no dongle attached to the device." And I tried to click "Install Licenses" button. I saw the message "The value cannot be NULL. Parameter name : continerToLicenses" Could you let me know what I've missed or what I've got wrong?

I had the FB called via a for loop to call a few instances of my FB I have removed it the for loop and just called them 1 by 1. I'm not sure I understand what you're asking, but I don't believe a function block with this behavior exists in the default libraries. I think the best solution would be using multiple and/or blocks or make your own function block.

Hi, I assume that you have a Pfc200 G2 or something and work with the original WAGO runtime. Then I would recommend the WagoSysDynamicIoMapping. Here in the example projects there is a PDF file for the library: https://downloadcenter.wago.com/learning-material/details/ll0w3pmdunzvem83g1 There is a global functional component in a GVL of the library. I think it's called DynKbusIoManager or something. The active terminals are registered there. Then there are filter Fb's for e.g. the first clamp with a specific article number. Everything is in the PDF.

Hi everybody, I am looking for a solution to send files, for example, to an ftp or a cloud. I can't use oscat library because 64 bit controller are not supported. Therefore, I see that the IIoT library has some functions that might help me to implement this sending process in codesys. Does anyone have any examples of how to do this? I have spent some days with this issue without success. Best regards.

There seem to be problems with the latest version of raspberry pi os 64bit (I used the lite version). The codesys control runtime crashes after a few seconds. The same runtime works on the raspberry pi image from 2023-10-10 When starting the runtime from the commandline, i get the following error: ooops... this runtime was build for RASPBERRYPI. Hardware version or firmware version not supported! (and yes, I'm running this on a raspberry pi :-)

Hi, I want to use Maxon IDX drives for some simple robotic applications. I have used Maxon's Epos for generating a DCF file to import in Codesys (attached). Then I can add the IDX motors under a CANopen manager in the device tree. Unfortunately, I cannot add a "softmotion axis" to the IDX motors. Now I am wondering, why? Without being able to attach a softmotion axis to the device in the device tree, the use of the motor is greatly reduced... spiessli

I am trying to use ladder logic to be the anser to the button press using "VisuElems.CurrentVisu := 'MainScreen';. This returns an error. Any idea what I am doing wrong or could you point me in the right direction for fixing this. Thanks,

Hello all, when creating a POU, the Codesys IDE allows the setting "Enable System Call" (in the Settings, Property -> Build), see picture. The name suggest, that runtime functionalities i.e. functions of codesyscontrol such as "stop plc" etc. can be directly called. I tried various approches without success, the following does, unsurprisingly not work. FUNCTION accessRTE: BOOL; ****************************** codesyscontrol.stop(); Can you please tell me how I can make a system call to codesyscontrol from a POU. Hello forum Does anyone have experience with optimally adjusting the position and size of the visualization elements? For us, the adjustment on the x-axis works in Codesys 3.5 SP20 with (Container.Width - Visu.Width). However, the y-axis is not affected with (Container.Height - Visu.Height). We implemented this according to the example from Codesys "Optimally adjust position and size" and had no success. Thank you very much for your help.

Doesnt matter. I have installed sp20 with latest RP 4.13. Same problem. Anyway My large project in RP 4.10 and SP 19 and I need these versions and use same installation programm for Codesys IDE and RP4 package. I did install again, because my SSD broke and now cant update raspberry... I dont know how to translate correctly project to newest version - there are 52769 errors and incompatabilities: after updates libraries anyway some errors still because of devices... I found solution with .deb file from raspberry package - dont need IDE anymore for update raspberry.
