Hi! thanks for reply. We tested the configuration you proposed as well; however, when the cable between the controller and the switch was disconnected, the Active and Standby roles were swapped. Did you observe the same behavior in your configuration using WAGO and Beckhoff?

Yes, this works (at least we have it running with Wago PLC and Beckhoff I/O), but the concept works. You need 2 PLC's with at leat 3 network interfaces. And 2 switches (can be unmanaged). See the attached simple diagram for the solution.

Hi! I had the same issue and finally found a solution. Alarm Configuration was located in a “Visualisations” folder. I moved Alarm Configuration directly under “Application”, and the issue was resolved.

Sorry, I've never used Raspy. Maybe someone else can help. From personal experience, I've had license activation issues, but it was caused by my company firewall, which was blocking traffic from the Codesys license server. So I found that the license was listed as activated on the server (and therefore used and no longer activable), but it wasn't present in the PLC. I solved the problem by using an unblocked internet connection when I needed to activate the purchased license ticket. Since then, the...

For the DynamicText error i have finally found a solution. You have to delete some libraries from your project. For me it was the WagoSysIcon library which wanted to reference dynamictexts even though i didn't have any in my project.

Hi! I hade made a visualization within Codesys V3.5 SP21 Patch 3, where i call for the user management and login. The VisuUserManagement.VMU_Login and VisuUserManagement.VMU_Login2 are to small for the screen it looks good and works fine if you are on a computer with large scrren but gets finicky on the smaller screen. any ide´s how to make the login dialog bigger?

Can anyone shed some light on this issue im having. at random, sometimes days, sometimes weeks or months. i get this error and have to reset the plc. Im using a Weintek HMI with ethernet/ip remote io and vsd. i have tried increasing my task times and watchdogs. and when i view my PLCload in the shell its normally around 3-4%, highest ive ever seen is 7%. Nothing i do seems to help the issue. Could the HMI's Codesys CPU be getting to hot do to high ambient temp?

It works well with two Wago 750-8210's. I helped a few customers setting this up. But it should work with any device which can control EtherCAT I/O, is real-time and has sufficient network interfaces. Two network adapters can be used to create a redundant EtherCAT network (you need 2 additional switches for this). The other network adapters can be used to interconnect the 2 PLC's (synchronization). We noticed that if you exchange variable lists that there could be some issues if you have long lists....

I think I understand my problem. They are most probably related to configuration of the network. When I use DHCP for the unit to my router it all works. However when using static IP I have not managed to reach functioning state. Trying to replicate the situation on my desk. Goodmorning, The projects we have made (with several persons) are in differents versions, Codesys V3.5 sp18 patch4, V3.5 sp19 patch 2, V3,5 sp19 patch 5 etc V3.5 sp21 patch 3 etc.. Now when we're opening an project thats's not opend before on my pc and we're not sure in witch version it's made it's quite annoying. We don't want to update to the newest version. Is there a way that it's automatic opening the correct version? Is there a program/tool/easy way to do this? Thanks,

Ich kann nur sagen, dass ich die gleichen Probleme habe. Aber auch erst neuerdings. Zuerst kam auch die Meldung mit dem falschen Versionsprofil. Habe jetzt schon mehrere Sachen versucht Neuinstallation / Reparatur. Alles deinstalliert. Leider hat das bei mir noch nicht geholfen. Codesys läuft unendlich langsam - immer wieder keine Rückmeldung.

Hello, i am not getting any results in add library. On 3.5.19.7 i got results. I tried on different machines on windows 10 and windows 11. Repair install and complete new install of codesys 3.5.21.3 dose not help. I can select and import libraries, that work. What am i doing wrong? That has always worked flawless till 3.5.21.3.

Hello, i have the big Problem that dialog windows in Codesys 2.3 are cut off, as seen in the attached screenshots. I've tried to adjust the screen resolution, i tried changing scaling, i tried the compatibility options. To keep it short, nothing worked. Hello, i have the big Problem that dialog windows in Codesys 2.3 are cut off, as seen in the attached screenshots. I've tried to adjust the screen resolution, i tried changing scaling, i tried the compatibility options. To keep it short, nothing worked. If someone already had that problem and knows a fix, please answer.![]
