Hi, please check if "Support client animations and overlay of native elements" option is enabled. This option is very heavy to manage for the Webclients. I'm using the Pixsys srl "TC series" HMI with the code "P3" (so a 4+4 cores CPU) that runs very well also with this option active. The same CPU is mounted also in their WebPanel "WP" series, so you can try one of them if you want.

This seems to be because when creating 'OPC UA' with 'Communication Manager', the 'IdentifierType' of 'NodeId' cannot be configured as' String 'type. This issue is not an isolated case. For this issue, CODESYS seems to have not provided guidance to users on how to proceed. We can provide feedback on this issue in the 'My Question' section of the 'CODESYS Store' to make CODESYS take it seriously.

Hello, I have developed a Python script that I run to import XML files into my project. For this, I use the Python function import_xml(). Everything was working fine when I was using Codesys platform plugins version 2.6.1.2320, but since I upgraded to versions 2.7 and even 2.8, some files are no longer imported correctly. After some research, I identified that all the files containing variables of the type "POINTER TO" are affected. I have attached a screenshot of the error I am encountering. Do you know about this bug? Do you plan to fix it?

I would like to enable the feature to automatically generate POUs for Project/Library properties in some of my library/project files. The Codesys help pages indicate it should be on the bottom of the Project Information Summary tab, but mine has no such options (see screenshot). Is there somewhere I have to enable this overall feature or any other prerequisite I am missing? Hi, How can we configure autostart of TargetVisualization on the remote device? The device is a Raspberry PI CM4 with PIXEL Desktop on display. I installed Targetvisu for Linux SL 4.16.0.0 on it. Hi Has anyone successfully used a Beckhoff EL6652-0010 Ethernet/IP slave terminal through an EK1101 EtherCAT coupler, or similar, and been able to set it up through Codesys? It seems there is no driver for it, and it can't be done? The only option would be to use the Ethernet/IP capability of the controller directly with one of its ethernet ports and a Codesys Ethernet/IP adapter + module and routing it through EtherCAT by tunnelling it through via an EL6614 switchport? Any advice would be appreciated. Billy.

I found out that the Codesys simulation mode is not good to measure performance. As soon as I upload the code onto the hardware PLC I can see that my visu-task needs around 60 ms to complete. I'm wondering if there is a possibility to find out which visualization/visualization element takes a lot of computing time? Then I would look for ways to decrease the long computing time.

Don't set on SVN. The service phase has started in March 2024 and will be discontinued in 2027. We actually use SVN and have to switch to GIT in the future. As I informed, there is no way of getting a single SVN or GIT licence. I' dont understand, why Codesys forces us customers to pay for an expensive Professional Edition paket from year to year using only one part of it! If you find a way to buy a single licence, let me know.

I am rather new to Codesys and I'm trying to figure out how to get the status of an alarm. This to interlock the start of a device until the alarm has been acknowledged... I am not sure if IAlarm.GetState (METH) can be used for this purpose. Masters, I need your help. I can explain in different way. I can get the name and comment of parameter if i use "VARINFO", but right now I want to get name and comment of FB from inside one. I can get the name to use the "{attribute 'reflection'}" but I don't understand how to get comment? Do you have any idea how to do it? Thanks

Dear darwin03, my first guess is that the axis scaling of the last axis (joint 6) is not correct. It should be confiugured so that one technical unit equals one angular degree. From the video, it rather looks like 1 technical unit is a full revolution of the joint. (This holds for all rotary axes used with SoftMotion Robotics: they must be scaled so that one technical unit equals one angular degree.) Best regards, Georg

I have come across this. The only way i could get it to work would be to define a word that is also the same address as the Bools. eg %MX600.0 through to %MX600.15 would be individually defined in the variables and them have another variable word defined at %MW300. You still need to break out the word in what ever program you are using to read/write the OPCUA tags.

Guten Tag, irgendwas ist hier im Argen, die Status werden nicht richtig angezeigt. Im Bild im Anhang wird die Variable in Zeile 16 CollectiveAlarm auf false gesetzt, es wird aber true angezeigt. In Zeile 17 frage ich testweise den Status nochmals ab, der ist auch false, obwohl die Variable CollectiveAlarm noch immer true anzeigt. Was kann hier die Ursache sein? Gibt es einen Beobachtungszeitpunkt, wann die Werte abgefragt werden?

Hello everyone, I am currently working with CODESYS Virtual Control for Linux running in Docker on a Debian virtual machine. I am deploying my application using Deploy Control SL, and in my project I am using the ModbusFB library to implement Modbus TCP communication. My setup is the following: I am trying to establish a Modbus TCP connection between a virtual PLC (CODESYS acting as Modbus TCP Client/Master) and a Siemens S7-1200 PLC acting as a Modbus TCP Server. From the Debian VM, I can successfully ping the S7-1200 and verify that port 502 is open using tools like nc. Network-wise, everything appears to be correct. However, when running the application in CODESYS, I receive messages such as “Demo mode for Modbus/TCP Master started. Will expire and stop!” and socket errors like “ClientSocket.UpdateStatus socket error 111 disconnecting.” The ClientTCP block from the ModbusFB library attempts to connect, but the connection does not remain stable. My main question is whether the CODESYS demo license explicitly limits or interrupts Modbus TCP Master communication. Is it expected that in demo mode the runtime will automatically close sockets after some time or prevent stable Modbus TCP connections? I would like to confirm whether this behavior is normal when using ModbusFB in demo mode, or if I should continue troubleshooting the configuration. Additionally, I would like clarification regarding the “fieldbus instances” mentioned in CODESYS licensing options (for example, 2, 4, or 16 instances). Hello, I bought some licenses from CODESYS store. I am trying to install licenses into my device(CODESYS Control for Linux ARM64 SL). But I have a trouble with it. I did it in the following order. Tool -> License Manager Selected Device and Next... Selected Soft container and Next... Select the device and Ok.. And then I always show a message "Licensing info not available. There is no dongle attached to the device." And I tried to click "Install Licenses" button. I saw the message "The value cannot be NULL. Parameter name : continerToLicenses" Could you let me know what I've missed or what I've got wrong?

I had the FB called via a for loop to call a few instances of my FB I have removed it the for loop and just called them 1 by 1. I'm not sure I understand what you're asking, but I don't believe a function block with this behavior exists in the default libraries. I think the best solution would be using multiple and/or blocks or make your own function block.

Hi, I assume that you have a Pfc200 G2 or something and work with the original WAGO runtime. Then I would recommend the WagoSysDynamicIoMapping. Here in the example projects there is a PDF file for the library: https://downloadcenter.wago.com/learning-material/details/ll0w3pmdunzvem83g1 There is a global functional component in a GVL of the library. I think it's called DynKbusIoManager or something. The active terminals are registered there. Then there are filter Fb's for e.g. the first clamp with a specific article number. Everything is in the PDF.
