Hello everyone, I created a visualization with a lot of REAL, with one or two digits after the decimal point. This causes me problems in terms of rounding and memory... is it possible to display an integer with a comma, like with PROFACE or SIEMENS? It's just an "abuse" of display, the comma is just on the visualization. This limits the memory (16 versus 64 bytes) and rounding is easier to manage... See print screen on proface software THANKS

We have developed a project for 2 servo motors using raspberry pi computemodule 4 on ethercat master. we are using web visualization for display different screens. project is running well in demo. we want to implement it in production envoirment. being new still wondering which licences i need. Can We get this information in codesys devlopment software. code size is approx 5 mb, 1 instance of etharcat master and aproox 100 variables in visaualization.

Hello, I'm using the new Codesys 3.5 SP19 Patch 4 version with CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi MC SL v4.8. Compared to the Codesys 3.5 SP19 Patch 1 version, the context menu on a Trace object no longer works. So I can no longer run the Downloader Trace command. Yes, you can use the CODESYS ControlWin V3 Soft PLC. However, if simulation is enabled on the device this will disable all communication, so you need to turn off simulation to view the visualization in a web browser. In simulation mode, all IO and communication is disabled for standalone testing. In addition, make sure to set the start visualization in the WebVisu object in the application tree. Yes, this point is part of my misunderstanding. Why, after the execution ot the motion FBs is set to FALSE and exsecuted at lest one time, it must be continuosly called, even if the motion control it's take from another subsequent instruction. This is what I really don't undertand, but what in fact it's happening. For example, in case of stopping a MoveVelocity FB, then Halting the motion by the related FB, the axis at spot goes into error. If there was bad trigger management, the various instructions would NEVER work.

Hi, using the ElementCollections Library, why isn't it possible to mutate a value found within a HashTable? From what I understand, the only way to change a value would be to use the RemoveByKey(), followed by AddKeyValuePair(). My goal is to use a Data Structure that works like a Dictionary in Python. The HashTable seems to come close to this, except that the values themselves seem to be immutable... In python, we can mutate a dict easily (see attached picture).

However, if faulty EtherCAT cables were the issue, why wouldn't the error occur during normal operation? Why would bad cables only cause problems during a hard shutdown? I don't have the answer to this question. One last question: When you encountered this behavior, did you see a similar error in your logs? i.e, an "AccessViolation" exception in the EtherCAT Task Yes. It was the exeption you can see in attached file.

Hello eschwellinger, Thanks for your answer, with this I was finally able to make it work by doing the following : install CODESYS Control for Linux ARM SL v4.13.0 uninstall CODESYS Control for Linux ARM SL v4.13.0 and make sure to select "yes" when prompted to uninstall WIBU CodeMeter Lite Runtime (v8.10.6230.501) re-install "CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi SL" v4.13.0 It looks like the issue was probably related to the CodeMeter Runtime ? Using Wireshark, I can see that the broker sends the QoS 1 or 2 messages when Codesys MQTT client reconnects but they are just discarded and not acknowledged by Codesys MQTT Client. So the broker holds on to them and tries to send them back to Codesys every time the client reconnects but they are always discarded by Codesys. There really seems to be an issue with QoS 1 & 2 in Codesys. It really does not behaves like it should.

Hello, I'm trying to run TargetVisu on my Linux IPC, and while it does work, the controls are misaligned compared to my WebVisu. Both visualizations are full-screen on a Debian 12 VM with a resolution of 1280x768. The WebVisu is running in Firefox. Are there any configuration I should adjust to ensure the controls align properly between the two? Any guidance or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Hi, Is it possible to display the units along the X,Y axis of the Path3D element? It correctly shows the CNC path to be followed, but there's no indication of scale or size of what's being displayed. I looked at the documentation and my first inclination is that this is not possible, and the option option would be to somehow recreate the Path3D functionality into the XY Chart visu element - which is not ideal. Any suggestions or pointers would be appreciated!

Hi CODESYS team! It seems Podman for Raspberry Pi 3 is not detected correctly in the latest "Deploy Control SL 4.14.0.0" : Linux/ARMHFv7 unknown container technology. 1) The Communication Tab, device information section shows podman technology as DETECTED. 2) The Runtime Deployment menu message says: "unknown container architecture" 3) The pulldown window under the deployment tab doesn't show the options for ARMHF Virtual Edge SL and ARMHF Virtual Control SL. I hope you can fix this soon and keep up the great work!

Ok, for the sake of completeness in case anyone else has this problem. we use successful for many years the KEB MFI terminal for Profinet, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP,... You'll need a EtherCAT Coupler as "head" from KEB, Kendrion or Berghof. It's all the same board inside: https://www.kebamerica.com/products/ethercat-bus-coupler/ Or the coupler with 16Di/Do integrated: https://www.kebamerica.com/products/ethercat-digital-io-module/ last year I got a EK1100 with EL6731 Profibus treminal runnig. But it was a lot of reverse engineering and thinkering in Codesys and TwinCAT to be done, to get it up, fulfilling my needs. Good luck!

Hi Everyone, It is a very useful feature to be able to obtain the enum value as a string with the TO_STRING operator by defining {attribute 'to_string'}.
