I am attempting to place a block and make it an Analog sensor. When I go to change the name like in the instructional video on youtube it does not give me an option to autofill the block with a known configuration. This is a problem I have in Codesys 2.5 and 3.5. Did I mess up the install of the program or need to install a library? Is this issue of idling before loading libraries resolved in Codesys 3.5.18.40 ? I am also curious about this version as there seem to be huge difference in the compiler versions which don't recognize the versions with older storage format.

You use very old codesys, maybe SP13? the newer sp17 libraries are in a format not compatible with your version. I suggest upgrading everything to at least SP17, but may as well go to SP20 Patch 2.

I am trying to do "update device" in a project which was saved in a different version of CODESYS using ScriptEngine, a dialog with 'Yes' and 'No' button popped up showing that "Do you want to upgrade the storage format for this project? -if you click 'Yes', storage format will be upgraded... -if you click 'No', storage format will not be changed..." I have to click the 'Yes' button automatically by scriptEngine. I know from others topics here in forum, that some dialogs can be auto-answered using system.prompt_answers. Hello, I am trying to control a servo drive and dynamically set its position. I control the drive via EtherCAT with a cycle time of 500us. I use the MC_MoveAbsolute block for this. The problem is that when using a PID controller, I generate the positions I want the drive to move to on an ongoing basis, and I would like the position to be set immediately. The MC_MoveAbsolute block must receive a rising edge to execute, and I would like the movement to be performed without waiting for this edge. I have created a function that generates a rising edge every 1 ms, but I am unable to change this time to 500 µs because the TON function does not support times shorter than 1 ms. Hello is there a chance to set with a visu input the auto-logout time? At the moment, it is a fix value set in visu-manager. But for individual configurating of passwort policies I create a visu-dialog to set policies and there for an option to set auto-logout-time. But till now, I haven't found a solution. Maybe someone has an idea? Thanks

I found out that the Codesys simulation mode is not good to measure performance. As soon as I upload the code onto the hardware PLC I can see that my visu-task needs around 60 ms to complete. I'm wondering if there is a possibility to find out which visualization/visualization element takes a lot of computing time? Then I would look for ways to decrease the long computing time.

Consuming assembly O->T will be the hex of the assembly you want to reference for output data - I want 102 (DO Data Only) shown in the Wago web page 102 = 16#66. Producing assembly (T->O) is the assembly you require for input data - again shown in the Wago web page - I want 108 (DI Data Only) or 16#6C Then set the number of bytes as per the data in the Wago web page too (both 2 in my case)

We can I find the GUID / ObjectIds`? I wasn´t able to get details about the GUID of DataTypes (STRUCT/ENUM,..)m, Functions (FUN), GLOBALS and TYPES.
