I think I need to read up on why this happened. I understand that placeholders should point to a particular version for obvious reasons however what has occurred in this instance is different. The example project was released as a "project archive" but it seems to load differently based on what I've got installed in my repositories. I'm going to dig into that tomorrow but any advice is welcome.

Masters, I need your help. I can explain in different way. I can get the name and comment of parameter if i use "VARINFO", but right now I want to get name and comment of FB from inside one. I can get the name to use the "{attribute 'reflection'}" but I don't understand how to get comment? Do you have any idea how to do it? Thanks

That's what I found as well Shaun. I have seen it at least in versions 3.5.21.1 and 3.5.21.3. There seems to be an issue with the FBD/LD package v4.6.0.0. The workaround proposed by Tim works but needs to be done manually on every code change/addition. For now we manually downgrade the FBD/LD package from v4.6.0.0 down to v4.5.0.0 after installation of CoDeSys. Same as you did. I hope this gets fixed on a next patch.

Hi, I am trying to load a test application into a DSE M840-001-02 display, but after reboot the device still shows: “No application loaded” I would like to understand whether the problem is in my project, the package creation process, or firmware/runtime compatibility. Hardware Device: DSE M840-001-02 Firmware used: M840 MKII Firmware File v4.1.2 Software CODESYS V3.5 SP12 (32-bit) DSE CODESYS Package v1.5.44 DSEServiceTool What I did Created a new empty Standard Project Selected target/template: M840-02 V4.1 Used a minimal ST program only: PROGRAM PLC_PRG VAR xAlive : BOOL := TRUE; END_VAR Confirmed: project builds PLC_PRG is assigned to MainTask created Boot Application Generated CodesysApp.pkg Put the M840 into bootloader mode Sent the package using DSEServiceTool DSEServiceTool result Transfer completes successfully and I get: connection accepted 100% download package ACK <status>OK</status> ** Example log:** Searching for controllers.... sendPackageToController: waiting for incoming data connection... sendPackageToController: connection accepted... <status>Downloading</status> <percent>20</percent> <percent>40</percent> <percent>90</percent> <percent>100</percent> sendPackageToController: sent 112cb8 bytes OK Package ...\CodesysApp.pkg transferred to controller c0a80101 OK sendPackageToController: package ACK <status>OK</status> Actual result After reboot, the display still shows: “No application loaded” Additional issue I also saw earlier At one stage I also had these fatal errors in CODESYS: [FATAL ERROR] Unresolved reference: 'IOMGRLOCKENTER' [FATAL ERROR] Unresolved reference: 'IOMGRLOCKLEAVE' I checked library versions and adjusted them to: IoDrvBase = 3.5.5.0 IoStandard = 3.5.10.0 Also, I am using CODESYS SP12, which I understand is the correct version for DSE M840. My questions If DSEServiceTool shows Status OK and package ACK, but the device still says “No application loaded”, does that mean: the .pkg was transferred but not accepted as a valid application? the package was built incorrectly? the boot application / runtime / firmware versions are still mismatched? What is the correct procedure to generate CodesysApp.pkg for M840-02 V4.1? Is there any known compatibility issue between: DSE CODESYS Package 1.5.44 M840 MKII Firmware 4.1.2 CODESYS 3.5 SP12 Has anyone successfully loaded even a minimal empty test project into M840-001-02, and if so, what exact versions/process did you use? Hello, Im using SMC_NCInterpreter and SMC_NCReadFile2 to read gcode program for CNC machine and what I have observed is that G51 and G52 is not smoothing the path. Machine stops in every point, what could I do to make machine pass through the points without stopping or what could allow me to use smooth path corretly if I use NCInterpreter. Im using it because I want to add variables to my gcode and its not possible directly from the CNC editor thats why I do use external file. Any ideas?

I am experiencing an issue when trying to move 6DOF using SMC_GroupJog2 and MC_MoveLinearAbsolute, but I don't understand why, when I jog only X or Y, the coordinate I monitor just changes the X or Y value. You are right, that you can use the GetState method, but it is not that simple. You first have to get a list of (filtered) alarms from the AlarmManager. You can find an example in Forge how to do this. I´ve been training the use of a RPI as PLC, which works pretty well, however while both the RPI and PC (running codesys) remain connected to the same network. Thanks, I will check the PLC Log when the PLC is connected again. I will update my findings here. Since I don't have access to the Linux Panel PC at the moment, I tested inside my development VM with the same Linux OS. I have no issues or delays connecting to the WebVisu using my Linux VM. Two main differences: 1. My host Computer has a faster processor compared to the panel PC. 2. There are no devices connected in my dev environment. I will continue testing when I have connection to the panel PC.

I'm having trouble with the initial loading of recipes. I can create them and load one or the other, but when the program restarts the recipes are not listed. I'm calling: RecipeManCommands.ReloadRecipes and then RecipeManCommands.GetRecipeCount which returns 0 recipes. None of the methods returns error and if i call them again after RecipeManCommands.CreateRecipe RecipeManCommands.ReadAndSaveRecipe getRecipeCount returns the number of recipes created. When i restart the system, once again they are not listed even though the recipe files are there. Any ideas? Martin Btw, Codesys 3.5 SP 16 Path 9
