I am running ubuntu on a raspberry pi, and installed an application based license Control Basic M on it, it runs a demo program fine, does not timeout etc. however, when I add a modbus TCP device, I start getting errors: <Entry severity="error" component="CmpApp" user="nobody" timestamp="12/18/2023 3:49:42 PM" infoId="24">Online change denied. Application Application is in exception state!</Entry> <Entry severity="error" component="CmpApp" user="nobody" timestamp="12/18/2023 3:49:42 PM" infoId="68">Download failed: Application=Application</Entry> <Entry severity="exception" component="CmpApp" user="nobody" timestamp="12/18/2023 3:49:41 PM" infoId="0">Application app=Application has invalid license metrics!</Entry> the modbus tcp slave runs, and the counter ticks up, however, when I call the variables on the %IX0.0 in my program, and try to upload the changes, I am getting the error messages which stop the program as far as I understand, the application based, M includes 2 fieldbus instances, but on the other side is fairly new, anything obvious I am missing out here?

Hallo all I would appreciate some clarifications regarding the appropriate runtime system to use. I've been using 'KUNBUS CPUs' and 'CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi MC SL' for the last 4 years. Recently, there have been some changes in the CODESYS licensing policy. [ https://store.codesys.com/en/howto_applicationbasedlicenses ] My questions are mainly two: 1) If I need to start a new project using 'KUNBUS CPUs', which is the correct runtime system to use. 2) Old projects built using 'CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi MC SL' should be updated to another RT system? Current RT systems ... a)CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi MC SL b)CODESYS Control for Linux ARM SL c)CODESYS Virtual Control SL May I count on receiving an explanation to understand the differences among the runtime systems listed above? Hello, I have been using CODESYS for a while and after updating to version 3.5.18.50 the code randomly stops with this fault. Why is that ? I have tried to locate the fault in the Call Stack but I dont know what to do now... I have updated the projects properly for the version I am using. This fault started happening after like 14 days of using the new version of CODESYS.

hi, Does anyone know how to optimise the responisiveness of the web visualisation? When i open the webvisu on my laptop it is very responsive, no noticable lag. But when i open it on the HMI (web client) at the customer site there is a lag of +-500 when opening popups etc. The hmi used is: Phoenix Contact WP 6156-WHPS full hd Arm® Cortex®-A53, 1.6 GHz qt web browser The clients performance seems to be the problem, what can i do in my project to decrease the load for the client?
