Post by harryc on Soft Container License issue with ARM64 Linux CODESYS Forge talk (Post)
hi @eschwellinger Thanks for the hint. This is what I get with "cmu -x" There is no Dongle. I think that I'm trying to install the soft container from CODESYS development system, where I have the licensed installed in the License Repository. The development system gives me the error when I try to install the Soft Container license. # cmu -x - CodeMeter Universal Support Tool. Post by pernockham on AC Persistence - values are not read from file during start? CODESYS Forge talk (Post)
I swear I tested this like 20 times yesterday without success. Repeated it today and it works. Maybe the system needed a "real" power reboot? To note. To make a manual edit of a variable I tried some different approaches this is what worked for me. "system/online edited" gvl_var.example_variable REAL:F16#2FFB334H-4 767.7 "manually edited" (with runtime stopped followed by a "cold start" to read from file) gvl_var.example_variable REAL:790.1 (the system will use the manual value but will not set an equivalent "hex" value until next online edit/write cycle)

Hi, Is there a way to run --runscript in linux system? This help only explains how I can run --runscript by using .exe. Post by timvh on Clarifications regarding the appropriate runtime system to use CODESYS Forge talk (Post)
If you are not using any specific Raspberry Pi functionality, then probably the "universal" Control Linux ARM SL is the approriate runtime to run on the Pi. For the license it doesn't matter which runtime version you choose, because this is not hardware based anymore, but application based. Best is to use the latest version of CODESYS. To determine which license you need, double click on your device, go to the tab License metrics.... Generate the code for your application and see which license you need based on the metrics of your application.

Post by timothyzalusky on Strange Behavior on Raspberry Pi CODESYS Forge talk (Post)
Hello, I am seeing some weird runtime behavior related to the EQ function on a rapsberry pi based system. I have attached a screenshot showing the strange latching I am seeing on the EQ function, and I have not seen this behavior before. I tried freshly restarting the runtime and it has this same behavior. Anyone seen this? I am on 3.5.20 with the latest runtime installed. Basically, as soon as it hits one of those EQ's in the program, it latches effectively locking the output on. Any input from the Codesys team would be appreciated as well as anyone that might know what I am seeing.

Post by andre-luis on Check if Codesys runtime is on 'Running' or 'Stopped' state? CODESYS Forge talk (Post)
Hi there, I'm running the Codesys runtime on Windows 64 and I need to know if it is on "Running" or "Stopped" state just after a system crash. The following commands works perfectly well to (re)start it... net stop “CODESYS Control Win V3 - x64" net start “CODESYS Control Win V3 - x64" ...however I'm unable to determine when it is required to be call; I mean, by checking the System Tray icon, it is possible to know if it is on "Stopped" state, but I wanted to run a .BAT command to retrieve it. How can we do that?
